[ ] – AI talking or message

AI – It's capabilities are explained in this chapter. It is a simple AI like SIRI but it seems to have the Access to Mc's Logic or Pattern skills. Just making it efficient, with no wastage in processing simple things, essentially giving results customized according to MC.

AI reminders- think of them of the Hogwarts legends sudden page that appears carrying info that helps mc learn better, in a practical way.

Note: this Reminders are only written occasionally by me to just to show they exist, but most of the time they run in the background to help Mc learn well. You can skip them if you feel they seem like too much details.

BOLD- Location or side headings in profile. Sometimes importance of part of the sentence is stressed by using this.

[Hypothesis or AI Info- Based on the feedback from the previous version, I kept them at the end of the chapters to not mess with the flow of story. For those interested in mechanics or worldbuilding details of magic, just glance through them.]

-- Chapter starts--

Location - Maple Tree Park, nestled in the heart of London, England

As I knelt amidst the lush greenery, the cool water mingling with the crimson stains, memories of my own childhood scraped across my mind like leaves in the wind.

Watching the brats frolic, some with grace, others with an uncanny ability to trip over themselves, I couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia mixed with amusement.

"Sigh," I muttered under my breath, carefully tending to the scraped knee of a 4-year-old brunet boy. His tearful gaze tugged at my heartstrings as I dabbed the alcohol-soaked cotton swab on his injury.

"Arjun, it hurts," he whimpered, his voice trembling with pain.

With gentle reassurance, I wrapped a bandage around his wound, offering soothing words to calm his distress. "It's alright, buddy. Just a little scrape. By tomorrow, it'll be all scabbed over, and you'll be back to your adventures."

"Really?" he sniffled, searching my eyes for confirmation.

"Absolutely," I replied with a reassuring smile.

His grateful expression warmed my heart, and I resisted the urge to pinch his cheeks affectionately, sensing his reluctance. With a comforting pat on his shoulder, I nudged him towards his waiting friends. "Off you go now. Your pals are waiting for you."

As he rejoined his companions with a newfound spring in his step, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction wash over me. Nothing truly beats the experience of healing, it made all the effort that I put over a decade worth it.

But as I watched the children scamper off, heedless of my advice to take it easy, my current situation sprang up in my mind.

I'm Arjun Prasad, a medical student turned 6-year-old reincarnated kid, navigating the unfamiliar streets of London. While the echoes of my previous life memories existed since my birth, it had been a month since they fully resurfaced the surreal nature of my circumstances still left me reeling.

I have theory regarding that, a human brain conducts most of it's growth by the age of 5, the rest of the mental growth is purely based on the experiences the person feels the throughout life.

It is like my memory was downloaded into my brain, and fully completed last month. Much logical, then the fanfic I read where a baby brain seems to easily accommodate the adult brain in the developing baby brain, where connections are still forming.

Speaking of Fanfics, you see Death brought me here, across continents, and it's still hard to wrap my head around it. One question that erupted in me was How do other self-inserts in fanfics accept this so easily? Despite the similarities in family and circumstances, this change feels disconcerting, to say the least.

The only noticeable difference from my past life is my family's migration to London, England after my brother's birth. My father's still in the pharmaceutical industry, now a Managing Director, just one step away from starting his own company, much like before.

His work ethic remains unchanged, putting in long hours from dawn till dusk. Unlike my dad, I've never been one for such gruelling schedules, except during that one-month cram session for the medical entrance exam. Just thinking about it makes me shudder.

"You know, I still can't believe you can clean a wound, my little doctor," my brother teases, breaking through my thoughts.

I can't help but respond with childlike enthusiasm, hiding my inner turmoil. "Because I want to be a doctor. I even watched a video on the computer!"

"Sure, Mr. Class Topper," he chuckles, and thankfully, his friend interrupts, calling us to continue our jog for the match.

"Hey Eswar, come on, the opposing team is already here," his friend urges.

"Arjun, let's go; we need to continue our jog," Eswar says to me, giving my shoulder a pat.

Reluctantly, I agree, even after death and rebirth, still disliking the exercise. "Yeah, yeah, let's go, Anna."

Observing my brother Eswar from a distance as he immersed himself in a game of soccer with older kids in the park, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy. At 12 years old, he was the epitome of an all-rounder, excelling effortlessly in both sports and academics. In Telugu, I affectionately referred to him as "Anna," a term of endearment befitting his role as my big brother.

Eswar possessed a friendly, sociable personality, devoid of the arrogance and bullying often associated with jocks in American high schools. Despite our age gap, he treated me with kindness and respect, never once belittling me for being six years his junior.

Comparing myself to him was inevitable, and the differences between us were stark. While Eswar effortlessly commanded attention on the soccer field and in the classroom, I found solace in my academic achievements, earning a medical seat up to the postgraduate level through my own merit and scholarship.

Physically, I had a slight advantage in height, standing at 6 feet tall, but my tendency to carry a few extra pounds made me self-conscious. Determined not to repeat past mistakes, I accompanied Eswar on his morning runs and warm-ups, refusing to let myself succumb to the sedentary lifestyle that had once plagued me.

[Ting. Ting.]

As the ting of my AI reminder interrupted my thoughts, I am proud to present to you my advantage in this life.

[AI Reminder: Time for a quick revision.

Muscle Contraction: It occurs due to the formation of bonds between two muscle proteins, actin and myosin, fueled by the consumption of one ATP.

Muscle Relaxation: The bonds between the two muscular proteins break, consuming one ATP.]

And as I delved into a quick revision of muscle contraction and relaxation, I thought hopefully I complete all the revision of my previous life studies by the end of year to properly concentrate on the unique feature of my life- Magic.

One thing that needs to be clear: automatic scanning for magic is out of the question. Something I am accepting with much disappointment

My AI chip proves to be an invaluable tool, capable of processing information gathered through my senses with astonishing accuracy. From sight and hearing to taste and emotions, it flawlessly translates my experiences into actionable data.

It has the access to Logic and Pattern skills to process the information. Which I believe I have in ample amounts.

Based on the above two points, it has ability to store and extract text from books, converting complex information into simpler language, images, or videos. Ones I can understand easily because it uses my patter recognition skills.

This feature alone has been instrumental in my revision of my past education, not just that it also allows me to access a wealth of knowledge in various fields.

Let me introduce you to my current self – "Profile."

[Arjun Prasad

Age : 6

 Physical Capabilities: Normal 6-year-old

Knowledge Mastered [ by me]: Postgraduate in General Medicine.

Database [Storage of AI]: All Medical Postgraduate Texts – Surgery, Pediatrics, ENT, Urology, etc.

Programming

Electrical Engineering

Magic: Accidental usage, Data acquired- 68/100]

The breadth of information stored in my database is truly astounding, comprising all medical postgraduate texts alongside expertise in programming and electrical engineering. But perhaps most intriguing is my accidental magic, which have resulted in developing a feeling for my magic, like a new sense.

Recreating the first accidental usage – what I call 'The Awakening of the Past' – was a pivotal moment in my journey. It took six or seven more instances to reach this point, with each experience adding to the data of feeling magic.

And here's the latest one: "AI, simulate the awakening."

[Command activated]

Despair, anger, sorrow, relief, hope, excitement – a whirlwind of emotions floods my senses as I relive that Sunday morning I realized my new life, with its floating pillows and toys.

I felt a slight change in me echoing the previous attempts as Stones and pebbles levitate in a desolate corner of the park. It is pure excitement and wonder that raced through me.

[Data Recorded.

Duration: 3 minutes

Current Data: 74/ 100]

Though the data remains consistent with previous instances, each simulation brings me one step closer to finally have enough data for my AI.

With 100 being the designation I has AI Set for the data it requires to start the exploration into Magic. Well, My AI is the epitome of customization.

---Chapter end---

[ Hypothesis -1:

As I reflect on the capabilities of my AI chip, one thing becomes clear: it can only receive data based on what I experience and perform tasks accordingly. However, with each new encounter, I gain valuable insights into the workings of this remarkable mystery.

It's a strange sensation, knowing that my soul houses the memories of my past life and the AI database, with information accessibility following a hierarchy: mind > body (senses) > soul.

But as I continue to navigate this new reality, one thing remains certain – with the aid of my AI companion, I feel that I am well-equipped to face whatever challenges lie ahead.]
