[YOU RECIEVED : 1 Astral hammer , 1 Immortal blood(book)]

Nick rather unhappy with these results as he could have purchased both of these things for a quarter of the price he paid for the tickets. The first item was the special hammer he used while he was in the astral workshop that allowed a vastly easier time when it came to channeling his spirit into the hammer. It was nice of course but he didn't need it strictly speaking in order to do his work. The second item was a book about vampires in the world of tamriel and while great if he wanted to make a vampire specific ring was otherwise useless to him as an elf or even a human.-

Still he had already paid for the tickets so he may as well use the stuff he got to the best of his abilities. He replaced his current hammer with the new one which was way more noticeable with it's silver color and faint ethereal appearance. Nick shrugged it off since even if someone were to ask he could simply say he found it in the castle. No one could argue with that since there were a ton of things in the castle that were unknown even after people have explored it for the last thousand years.-

Besides that was the immortal blood book he got which he cracked open for a quick read. It wasn't a bad short story all things considered as it gave detail about the various abilities that vampires in that world had. But it was indeed a very short story since it only had a total of seven pages before it was over. 'That ending is fun to read.' Nick thought when he got to the part where Movarth was betrayed by the person teaching him about vampires as they turned out to be a vampire themselves.-

Nick had already finished the book of fundamentals from the "ancient" section during this last couple weeks. In it he didn't discover any more unexpected revelations but merely had the knowledge he had obtained from the normal books broadened and clarified. He had tested his spell cast proficiency during this time as well and found he was at an end of the first year level. This didn't surprise him much to learn as while he was talented he spent most of his time improving his foundations rather than trying to grow more powerful.-

Nick found it wasteful to rush after greater power when he had all the time in the world for that so long as no one off's him early. The first two years at Hogwarts weren't all that dangerous minus the 60 foot snake that gets out , so this was the perfect time to take it easy and make sure he was fully prepared to deal with the future. 'First thing's first though I need to get to the breakfast.' he thought as he locked the workshop behind him and started to walk to the great hall.-

Nick didn't know what happened but he found himself at the great hall but couldn't remember walking to it. He shrugged and walked through the doorway thinking it wasn't that big of a deal since he gets lost in thought pretty often. Dumbledore meanwhile now had a small vial with a single drop of red blood in it that he stored in his robe. Breakfast was a simple affair with Nick stuffing his face while Ron looked like he was trying to keep up. After that it was an hour of history of magic that Nick spent quietly chatting with his friends.-

He had been slowly distancing himself from Harry and Ron during this time but once he was no longer a constant factor he stopped. He was still friends with the boy and hung out with him pretty often but made sure that he was usually busy with something or another. None of Nick's friends minded his frequent absences in their hang out sessions since he was different from them. Tracy and Daphne were especially appreciative of his work as their parents were often stuck in their own business as well. -

Flitwick's class was different today however and the small man made it clear immediately. "Welcome students , this month we will be learning the levitation charm and unlocking charm." he said with a wide smile. "Today we will be learning the wand movements and pronunciation for the unlocking charm." Flitwick said honestly. 'A new set of spells every month I assume is the schedule.' Nick thought after hearing this. The first half of the class was rote learning and so Nick simply didn't participate nor did Flitwick think he should. The second half however was where a practical attempt was done for the spell and with a wave of Flitwick's wand a single locked box landed in front of each of the students.
