"Who is this Nicolas Flammel and what does he have to do with whatever Hagrid took from the vault a month ago?" Harry asked with a frown as the group walked away from Hagrid's hut back to the castle. Nick didn't give out his knowledge on the matter but winced when Tracy froze in shock at the question. 'Right nobility members like them probably teach this kind of knowledge to their children.' he thought and could only sigh at this shift from "canon". Thankfully Harry learning what was hidden in the third floor corridor early would probably not effect much.-

"Nicolas Flammel is THE immortal alchemist who created the Sorcerers stone that could turn stone to gold and create the elixir of life that let him and his wife survive for the last six hundred years! He even taught Dumbledore alchemy when the headmaster was younger!" She exclaimed excitedly. "Is that what Hagrid took from Gringotts? this stone!?" Harry exclaimed as he put the pieces together. Tracy nodded "That's what it sounds like but why would he give Dumbledore such a thing?" she asked confused. "Who knows what these ancient fogies are always doing behind the scenes?" Nick asked with a shrug trying to get the conversation dropped.-

"That is a good point I suppose , maybe Dumbledore is simply studying the stone to try and make his own?" she suggested after a bit of thought. Once the group reached the castle Nick checked himself for tracking spells and finding none save the one cast by Dumbledore excused himself so that he could seek out professor Mcgonagall. 'Best to put in my request for that room as soon as possible since I am starting to collect orders.' he thought as he separated himself from his friends.-

Nick walked quickly and cautiously through the halls while keeping up his magical senses for any invisible disturbances. This placed considerable strain on his mind and body caused blood to lightly drip from one of his nostrils. He felt it was necessary however since he couldn't afford to be ambushed by someone under invisibility. Quirelmort was skulking about the castle at the moment doing gods knew what and Nick didn't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The books never spoke about what the man and his afterlife tag along did in their free time besides hunting unicorns and Nick had no intention of poking that hornets nest to find out.-

Nick safely made it to the McGonagall's office near the Gryffindor common room and quickly cleaned away the blood on his face before knocking. "You may enter." The elderly witches voice came from the other side of the door. Opening the door Nick found out that the room was rather small with enough room for a large desk and a couple wall shelves but little beyond that. It wasn't cramped mind you , just not very large. The room was warmly decorated with reds and golds likely symbolic to her love of her house and had a faint scent of agar wood.-

"Ah , Mr. Iron I was expecting to receive a visit from you today or tomorrow." Mcgonagall said with a slight smile. "Please have a seat so we may discuss what it is you are here for , biscuit?" she said offering him a tray of english biscuits. Nick sat in the single small wooden chair that sat in front of her desk before taking one of the biscuits politely. "I assume I am correct in that your visit is in regards to placing a request to use a certain unused classroom as a personal workshop yes?" the professor asked calmly.-

Nick looked surprised for a moment before figuring out why she was aware of this already "Flitwick must have mentioned it to you and the other teachers." he stated calmly and Mcgonagall nodded. "Yes , Filius was rather eager about the subject after learning of your knowledge of crafting arts. I admit many of us were skeptical of his claims until Albus personally vouched for their accuracy." she said choosing not to mention the slight twitch that came to his brow at the headmasters name being added to the topic.-

"I'm self taught if that clears things up." Nick said honestly since assuming the system was now a part of him made this true. "It does to a degree , but we are getting off topic. In regards to your request to use a classroom for recreational activities , it has been approved and merely needs you to finalize the choice as to which classroom is to be used with a member of faculty." The elderly witch said with a smile seeing Nick's expression brighten. She found it a shame how so few of her students showed even half as much enthusiasm to a craft of any sort.
