"Alright, drop your clothes and spread your buttocks, boy."

Whoosh!

Faster than the speed of light, Happy moved away to the corner of the room, beside the library wall. His breathing ragged as he took out his wand, "What do you mean by that, old man?"

"Well, I must inspect you fully in order to find out if you have any issues. You consumed a philosopher's stone, not candy. You're the first wizard in history to do so. So be happy that you're not dead already." Flamel said while evaluating Happy with just his eyes.

Happy tried to count his options, and in none of them was he going to get naked in front of two old men. Not when he knew the 'Secrets of Dumbledore.'

"Perhaps we should start with the blood test, Flamel. It is an oddity in itself." Dumbledore intervened and changed Flamel's mind. "Mr. Lestrange has professed that his blood was akin to that potion since before he ate the stone."

Happy's tense body finally relaxed, thanking Dumbledore in his heart.

Flamel got up and picked up an injection-like contraption. "Wonderful, a boy with golden blood. Lestrange, you said? Evil folks nowadays, but good respectable, and powerful people in my time. Here, let me take a sample."

Nicolas Flamel took Happy's blood and proceeded to sit beside his workbench. He poured the blood into multiple vials and then tried to test it. At first, the blood was red as normal. But, once he dipped his finger in the blood, he saw it change its color to golden.

"Strange and interesting. I don't know what to say. I have never met someone in my entire life who had such strange blood. Are you sure this didn't happen because of the stone?" Nicolas asked.

Happy, begrudgingly answered. "Yes. I know because a greedy Goblin in Gringotts also found out about my blood and tried to sell the information to a Death Eater—Lucius Malfoy, to be precise."

'Why shouldn't I throw Lucius under the bus when I have the chance? These two are supremely powerful and influential wizards, and if I play my cards right, they can provide me protection until I'm strong enough to stand up for myself.'

Dumbledore rushed towards Happy and solemnly held his shoulders. "Why didn't you say that earlier?"

"B-Because…I was confused about what to do. I don't know what this all even means." Happy replied. Of course, he knew all about the wizarding world, but he knew he couldn't appear too wise, as that would make Dumbledore raise his guard.

Happy knew he wasn't very smart, but he wasn't dumb either. He understood that his advantage was in the fact that he knew the future and information that wasn't out there yet.

Dumbledore's eyes softened, and he patted Happy's shoulder. He just remembered that the boy he was speaking with was just an eleven-year-old kid, and to face the Death Eaters, and so many strange things in life, while being a lone child of a family so hated—he felt nothing but pity for him.

"We will talk about this later, Happy. Let Nicolas test your blood and check you to ensure there's no issue. In fact, I wonder if you gained something from the stone. Eternal youth? Regeneration? Or perhaps, superior magic—Philosopher stone is, after all, the most coveted item in the wizarding world."

'Now, this sounds sweet. With more magical power, I'll be able to eat in peace and live my second life as a happy retiree.' Happy was all for the magical blessings.

Nicolas Flamel continued with his tests, as he knew the properties of the Philosopher Stone best. He knew what to look for and what could be problematic.

"This is shocking to even me," Nicolas exclaimed. "I see no trace of anything related to the stone. It's all just the potion. It's as if…your body completely consumed the stone. But what happened to all the magic it held? That's a mystery."

"So he is physically healthy?" Dumbledore asked, as that was the reason he brought Happy here.

Pa!

Nicolas Flamel smacked Happy on the back, not on the hips, thankfully. "Oh, he's fine and ready to vanquish some good old dark wizards."

Dumbledore glared at Nicolas Flamel, but Happy just caressed his shoulder in pain, since the old man was still too damn strong.

"Then I believe we're done here." Dumbledore decided to leave, since Nicolas wasn't a man whose mouth he could trust to stay shut. Not only that, Nicolas had stopped taking the Elixir and was preparing to embrace death, so his mental grasp was also questionable.

"Stay for the dinner, at least. My wife cooked it with her own hands. Don't you feel any pity after making such an old lady work, Dumbledore?" Nicolas said, looking at Dumbledore with his old, wrinkled eyes.

Sighing, Dumbledore agreed. "In that case, I will impose on you, my friend."

"Marvelous! Come then!"

Nicolas led them to the living room, and then to the dining room. The table was neatly set there, and Perenelle Flamel was working with the help of five House Elves who wore neat and clean clothes and looked much better than usual elves.

"Love, let's eat." Nicolas first walked to his wife to kiss her. She was also a withering old woman with a face full of wrinkles. Not very pleasing to the eye, as the couple looked like borderline zombies.

Snap!

With a snap of her fingers, Perenelle dimmed the lights of the room, and the candles on the table lit up. Everyone took their seats after that, and the elves started to place the plates.

However, dinners were often the places where embarrassing talks took place. The same was the case with the two centuries-old humans who could consider Dumbledore as just a child.

Nicolas poured himself a glass of wine and started. "Ah, Dumbledore, how is your unbrotherly romance going on with that Gellert boy?"

Pfft!

Happy spat out a mouthful of apple juice, and it even went into his nose while he tried to hold his laughter. He quickly tried to clean himself. He couldn't help but glance at Dumbledore, and as expected, the old man's face was just as he imagined.

Jaw agape, brows up, and eyes shocked. Dumbledore looked less like the esteemed Headmaster and more like an offended young man.

Dumbledore coughed and corrected. "Nicolas, it seems you are having some trouble remembering the history. Gellert did something heinous, and I defeated him and placed him in prison."

"Oh dear," Perenelle interjected. "Such a tragic love story."

"Ha…Huh…" Happy's face turned red in an attempt to hold his laughter.

"..."

Dumbledore silently ate his food. He knew he couldn't do anything about the two ancient wizards. The two lacked the modern touch as they had the mentality of the old times.

So, the dinner went by very quickly, and Dumbledore stood up to leave. Happy also gobbled down every single piece of food on his plate and especially loved devouring the desert.

"Thank you, Mister and Missus Flamel. It was a really delicious meal." Happy respectfully bid them farewell.

"Oh my, what a well-behaved boy. Be sure to come back. I will cook you many more delicious meals. I even know recipes long forgotten by the world." Perenelle offered him.

"Really?!" Happy, with utmost seriousness, had stars in his eyes. "Then I might just return later."

Indeed, if anyone knew Happy, they'd believe in his words. Yes, he was going to come back soon to eat some more of those extinct cuisine. In any case, Perenelle just wanted to spoil a child like they were her own son, and she had finally found one willing to be spoiled.

Just as they were leaving, Nicolas came to give Happy some advice. "Be careful, boy. If those slimy dark wizards come after you, just throw a good old Avada Kedavara, and that will be the dea—"

"Cough! Mister Lestrange, let's go." Dumbledore quickly intervened before his student was brainwashed by the ancient Nicolas Flamel.

Happy waved at the old couple one last time and left the house.

Left behind, Flamel chuckled and looked at his wife. "It was quite fun pulling Dumbledore's leg."

"It never gets old, dear," Perenelle responded with giggles. "But…Will that boy be alright? His blood is more valuable than gold."

Flamel sighed and lowered his gaze in worry. "That's what I'm thinking, my love. His secret is already out, and it's merely a matter of time before bounties are placed on his safe capture. That cheerful boy…His life will be full of trials. But...I felt he was blessed by something or someone we can't fathom."

"I wish we could help."

A distance away, Dumbledore held Happy's hand as he prepared to apparate away. "Where to, Happy? I don't believe you wish to return to the empty Hogwarts castle right now."

Happy thought a lot about it. "Hmm… Please drop me off at Harry's house, Professor!"

Dumbledore became alert. "Why?"

"I just want to spend the summer with him since going back to my house will only make me ripe for taking by the Death Eaters. I wish to stay away from the magical side of the world for the next few months." He replied, conveniently hiding his real desire.

Dumbledore saw reason to Happy's words, and since Harry's house was the safest place he knew, and knowing Harry needed a friend too, he agreed. "Very well then, let's go to Privet Drive."

Whoosh!

Dumbledore, with Happy, vanished from the spot in a spiral of darkness. A second later, they appeared again in an empty street in London.

"Here you go, Happy. Be careful, and I may contact you again for some important discussions about your future. Your situation is very…unusual."

"Understood, Professor!" Happy diligently responded.

"Good! Have a happy holiday, then."

Whoosh!

With that, Dumbledore vanished again.

Alone, a big smug-like grin grew on Happy's face as he turned towards Harry's modest house.

The home was a typical suburban home. It was a large two-story with a perfectly manicured lawn and tidy flower beds. The walls are made of red brick, with white-framed windows with curtains on the second story. But it was unremarkable, in contrast to the magical world.

Happy walked over to the side window and looked up at the first floor. He threw some stones at first, but after getting no response, he decided to just shout.

"HARRY! LET'S GO TO JAPAN!"
