Chapter 4: New Friends and Sorting Ceremony

As Lewis sat lost in thought, he suddenly heard a knock at the compartment door. He turned around to see Harry standing there, his green eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Hey, mind if we join you?" Harry asked, gesturing to the empty seats around Lewis.

"Of course, come on in," Lewis replied, feeling grateful for the company.

Ron soon followed, his face flushed from the excitement of the journey. The trio settled into their seats, chatting eagerly about their summer adventures and their hopes for the upcoming year at Hogwarts.

As they chatted, Lewis couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging with the two boys. They seemed to understand him in a way that few others did, and he felt comfortable sharing his thoughts and feelings with them.

As the train journey continued, Lewis found himself swept up in the excitement of the wizarding world. He marveled at the passing scenery, watching in wonder as they passed through rolling hills and dense forests.

As the train rolled on towards Hogwarts, Lewis couldn't help but feel excited and nervous at the same time. He had just met Harry and Ron, and was quickly learning that Hogwarts was going to be much more interesting than he had anticipated.

Just then, there was a knock on the door of their compartment. Harry quickly stood up to answer it, revealing a boy with blonde hair who introduced himself as Draco Malfoy. Lewis couldn't help but feel that there was something off about Malfoy, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

As they continued on their journey, Neville Longbottom, who was sitting in the compartment next to theirs, came in a state of panic, saying that he had lost his pet toad, Trevor. Hermione Granger, who had been sitting by herself in the compartment, immediately offered to help find him.

After a brief search, Hermione managed to locate Trevor under a seat in a different compartment. Neville was overjoyed, and thanked Hermione profusely. Lewis couldn't help but feel that Hermione was incredibly smart, and he was impressed by her ability to think on her feet.

As they approached Hogwarts, Lewis couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder as the castle came into view. The boats that would take them across the lake were waiting at the dock, and the students quickly made their way to them.

Once they arrived at Hogwarts, they were led into the Great Hall, where the sorting ceremony was about to begin. The sorting hat sang its usual song, and then began to call out the names of the new students.

As Lewis waited anxiously for his name to be called, he couldn't help but feel nervous. When it finally came, he stepped up to the stool and placed the hat on his head. The hat seemed to take an unusually long time to sort him, and he could feel it probing his mind.

Finally, the hat spoke. "Gryffindor!" it declared, and the Gryffindor table erupted in cheers. Lewis couldn't help but feel relieved, and he quickly took his place at the table.

As the feast continued, Lewis couldn't help but feel grateful for the new friends he had made on the train. He knew that he was going to have a great time at Hogwarts, and he was excited to see what adventures lay ahead
