1 The story that was never told

It was night time again...

In the Leaky Cauldron there was such a calm and quiet atmosphere that everyone would think that the place was abandoned or lacking in customers. But this was actually not the case, of the few customers that this tavern had, all of them decided to remain silent. If none of the wizards or witches in this dirty old room breathed, this place would be devoid of sound.

This mutual quiet among all the wizards and witches was rarely seen, but it seems that today is a special day for all these noisy people to stop talking and instead pay attention to an old man.

If it had been a normal day, just a handful of people in this dingy tavern could drive out this silence that now ran through every corner of this place. But no one had any intention of interrupting the words that the old man in the middle of the tavern was about to speak.

In this crowded place, people were silently drinking their butterbeer, while avoiding uttering a word. Everyone ignored any idle topic and concentrated on listening to every magical word that old man in ragged clothes was about to say.

The presence of the old man added a magical feeling, it was a kind of chasm that opened between the eyes of every wizard or witch in the room.

It could not be said that ten people in this room formed a very large group. But lately, as times went, there were never more than ten people gathered in Leaky Cauldron.

Those seated at the bar drank and listened, those seated at the table watched this old man's appearance with curious eyes.

"You must all listen carefully to what I am about to tell? No, you will not be able to hear my words again, for I travel the world as magic travels your wands."

Taking a minute of silence, the old man took his time to add suspense to his words and then said, "In Narnia, the atmosphere feels different from earth, as if it were a sweeter, more magical air. Magic shines with pride, magical animals fly freely, and everyone is free to use magic as they please."

"The weather is said to be pleasant, there are magical kingdoms and forests, dragons in the mountains and mermaids in the seas. A world so great and respected, that all Narnians are willing to give their lives to protect their lands."

"Everyone says that Narnia is the dream world of every wizard or witch who lives alongside Muggles, every magical creature a slave to wizards and their twisted minds."

As if nothing mattered to him, the old man expressed his thoughts and showed everyone what he thought of the magical world. You could see no fear in his eyes, no hesitation or regret.

"That beautiful world was created by the most powerful wizard in history, and no, it was not Merlin or any other wizard who today can easily get the title of the most powerful wizard of the age. The name of the wizard who did such a feat is Aslan, entitled the great Lion, creator of Narnia and son of the great Emperor of Allende of the Seas."

As the old man spoke Aslan's name and all the titles ascribed to him, every wizard and witch in the room could see a burst of flame and then a Lion roaring amidst the orange color of the fire.

"The Talking Lion, king of magical and non-magical beasts, son of the emperor of the seas beyond the allende, a wise, compassionate, unique with both temporal and spiritual magical authority, mysterious and is the beloved guide for all visiting Muggle children, guardian and savior of Narnia and ultimately creator and destroyer of this magical world."

Hearing these words, a trace of fear shone in the eyes of everyone present. This made the smile on the old man's face grow bigger, touching his non-existent beard, he continued with his words.

"With the song of his great mouth, all life springs from heaven and earth, he selects certain species from among the beasts that his song has brought forth and bestows upon them the power of speech and reason."

"It is for this reason that many respect magical beasts as non-magical, all fear Aslan's fury if any of his creations are judged with impetus. It is for that reason that magical families around the world have improved their dealings with magical beasts."

"This beautiful world until a few hundred years ago was hidden in a closet, when the ancient wizards of that time were offered the chance to live within the magical world of Narnia, many families agreed to move away from this world that is now at war, and one of the families that must not be named is the Aodhan, who claim to be the sons of Eve and daughters of Adam."

But as if his words were stuck in his throat, the old man closed his eyes tightly and said, "A war, something that binds us deeply with non-magical humans, a war that destroyed the gates that led to Narnia. The White Queen who ate the fruit of immortality when she was but one controlled by the lust for power, destroyed much of Narnia and this thousands of Narnian years later provoked a war in the magical world and would you believe it? Today we too are at war while Narnia thrives in peace and tranquility."

"That war that affected not only Narnia, but the entire magical world in its time, the rebellion of the White Witch and the magical creatures..."

As a new voice was heard in the tavern, everyone closed their eyes as they remembered that bloody war, where magical creatures so common that could be found in both the magical world and Narnia, were now exclusive to Narnia, a world from which now no wizard could enter.

...

In ancient times, when Narnia was created, the powerful wizard Aslan offered the most powerful magical families the opportunity to rule within the wondrous world of Narnia. As is well known, many accepted but others did not.

For those families who did not accept to enter Narnia, they thought that once the most powerful magical families left, they would gain much more power and influence within the magical world. And on the other hand, for the families who decided to enter Narnia, they greatly despised the actions of these greedy families.

As the years passed since the magical families entered Narnia, passage to this world was easy to find and those who wanted to enter Narnia could do so without much trouble. But the Narnians noticed that more and more criminals from the magical world were entering Narnia.

When the two sides realized this, they reached a somewhat tense agreement between the two worlds. The Narnians promised to make passage to Narnia exclusive to those who deserved it, and the wizards of the magical world decided that no Narnian would do the same to their world.

Years went by and there were fewer and fewer trips to Narnia, and the reverse was also true. Both worlds moved further and further away from each other, turning this distance into oblivion. But when there is a twisted and evil mind, there is no one who can stop it in time.

One day, a witch who was one of Godric Gryffindor's most beloved students and one of the first witches of Gryffindor house became so interested in Narnia that her obsession led her to enter that world through a closet.

This closet belonged to a Muggle family, at that time the adoptive family of that witch who was just beginning her life in the magical world. When that witch discovered the magic door, she knew she had to be more powerful to be able to explore the world of Narnia without anyone stopping her.

So it was that when she turned sixteen she set out on a long journey to Narnia where she soon met a huge lion with whom she became friends. Soon after this friendship took shape, the witch became interested in the fruits of a tree.

But when the huge Lion became aware of the witch's obsession, he told her that if she did not want to live in bitterness and loneliness, under no circumstances should she eat the forbidden fruit.

When she gave up this idea, the witch returned to the magical world through the closet and continued to think about what to do with her immense curiosity: what does this forbidden fruit taste like and how can she eat it without the enormous Lion noticing?

But it only ended in curiosity and nothing more, one day the witch grew up and became interested in ancient magic. In one of her numerous searches, she found a pyramid of a dark wizard that she was in charge of sealing with her powerful magical abilities.

When she defeated that dark wizard with her powerful ice magic, all the wizards of her time dubbed her the White Witch. This title would endure for years. And from that battle the White Witch took a secret with her, she had gained access to a magic so ancient and powerful that it would soon consume her in confusion.

This magic was more powerful than any other spell created in ancient times, you could imagine how dark and disturbing the magic the White Witch obtained that even the most lethal spells would be low level spells in the face of the possibilities of that magic.

Even so, to this day the White Witch has only been seen to use one spell, one that can end life and in its place leave an eternal stone statue.

As the years passed, the White Witch was tricked by the vicious magic and that which she was having contact with, causing the White Witch to enter Narnia and eat the forbidden fruit.

Such an act is universally known as "the original sin" which she related as Eve's sin. As a result of her disobedience, the great Lion sealed every door leading into Narnia with the White Witch inside.

By the time her master Grodic Gryffindor found out, it was too late to do anything about his disciple. It was this that triggered an enmity that would last for years between the wizards of the magical world and the Narnians.

When the White Witch learned what she had done, she wept deeply for ten Narnian years repenting her sins. But when she discovered that she was not forgiven, and was instead hated by all Narnians, her fury was soon unleashed throughout Narnia.

Upon learning that the Lion who protected Narnia was gone, the White Witch, as an outlet for her desires, destroyed much of Narnia and ruled as Jadis, daughter of Eve and Queen of Narnia. Many succumbed to her power, and for those who did not, they were turned to stone by her enormous magic.

The Narnian years were not the same as the magical world when the enormous Lion entitled Aslan, father of all, sealed the gates leading to Narnia. And when the White Witch learned of this, she soon communicated with her master, Godric Gryffindor.

Under the misinformation of what had happened, Godric and many of his followers at the time entered Narnia. It was arguably the perfect moment where the Narnians launched a counterattack with the White Witch, two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve led an army powerful enough to wipe out the White Witch's army.

Godric Gryffindor defended his disciple, and under the manipulation of the words of the one he considered a daughter, he fought against the Narnians, killing countless magical creatures. But when Aslan appeared, he disabled Godric's magic and after letting him know the truth, he ended the White Witch's life.

By the time Godric learned that he had been tricked, he returned to the rest of his followers who were still alive, in remorse. But he did not learn that his sword contained a spark that in a few more years would revive his disciple.

Years later and before the death of Godric Gryffindor, the White Witch appeared in front of her master and with the same sword ended the life of Godric absorbing the little magical power he had left.

This gave the White Witch enough time to recover in silence, the magic had consumed her completely and with the desire to reign over Narnia and the magical world, she prepared herself in silence.

When the stars aligned, the White Witch launched the rebellion of magical creatures. The intelligent magical beasts joined her, fought against the wizards and it was one of the darkest wars that happened.

The most powerful wizards of the time united and after a long war, they managed to defeat the White Witch together with the Narnian army that came to their aid. But at that time, many Narnians were turned to stone by the White Witch.

When the White Witch was defeated, her soul was divided into seven sins, most of which had been destroyed to date. But in a last attempt to vent her fury against those Narnians, she destroyed the gates leading to the world of Narnia.

Those who lived, remained to this day in the magical world. Many Narnians died watching until their last breath as thousands of their brothers were still turned to stone, unable to do anything for them.

But there was a legend among the Narnians, that very soon a light would shine so bright that it would remove all darkness and coldness that the White Witch left in the worlds, completely freeing those from their stone prison and rebuilding the passage to Narnia again.
