66 flitwick's visit and duel championship

they stayed in the hospital until nightfall and Frank also recognised Neville, the Longbottoms are happy seeing them recover and arranged a feast along with Greengrass family for the potter's, it went well and Augusta asked Alex what he likes most and he replied relics and grimoires of magic. Augusta promised Alex she'll take him to the vault in gringotts to give him a relic and a grimoire , the Greengrass family also promised him this.

the next while Alex is sitting in the garden and recalling his alchemy and charms, professor flitwick arrived at their gate and Lily called Alex to meet.

in the living room flitwick sit opposite to Alex and smiled at him, Lily asked flitwick politely about his business with Alex as she is also a student of flitwick during her school days.

flitwick said," Lily , James I'm thinking about taking Alex to USA to participate in the junior duel championship, it's been many years since Hogwarts participated in this event".

as soon as said that Lily become dumbfounded and asked," professor flitwick, he is a 11 year old child , what are you thinking letting him participate in a duel?, and he doesn't even gone out of this country except us bringing him here and you're telling me he'll travel to USA?".

flitwick expected this and said," you don't need to worry about him getting injured, he even took down 7 years in my club with simple moves, and about him going alone, you can come along if you want". Lily doesn't know what to say when she heard Alex winning a duel against a 7th year with simple spells, but after remembering he beat a dark wizard from Harry, she didn't say anything but agreed to come along with him.

flitwick then said," since international travel with portkeys and apparitions is not possible, we have to go through the muggle vehicles what is it called , a plane?, okay, since you agreed we'll go to America to participate in the championship in 2 days, get ready for it".

then flitwick after some talk with James and Lily said he has something else to do and apparated away.

Lily is looking forward to the championship while James and Harry are asking they will also come along, but Lily denied saying they are going to championship and not a vacation, James and Harry who heard this became sad and Harry told Alex to bring him some gifts from USA along with the championship cup. James just encouraged Alex by saying disarm them as soon as the duel begins.

2 days later, Lily and Alex wore normal muggle clothes while flitwick well he is wearing clothes that looks they are for girls, it took Lily 30 minutes to convince flitwick to wear his normal suit and to explain about muggle clothing.

when they went to airport, flitwick is looking at the planes like a child which earned wierd gazes from the passersby's, even the air hostess who is serving in the plain is looking at him suspiciously as he watched the interior of the plane in amusement.

soon , the plane landed in New York City and they took a taxi to arrive at woolworth building, down New York City. as went into the building they noticed a turning door out of order and flitwick went towards it, they go through the door and arrived at an elevator and a voice sounded," state your business please".

flitwick said," Filius Flitwick here for the junior duel championship". the elevator closed it self, and they felt they are moving in many directions before the door opened and there is someone on the dusk asking them to present their wands, they all gave their wands and the man after checking give them each a paper saying it's their wand license here and glanced at Alex's silver hair with curious look.

then the three entered into arena and saw many wizards who look far more older than Alex, Lily has a nervous as she is concerned about Alex. many wizards who saw Alex entering the arena thought they are here to watch while some began to whisper after they recognised Lily potter.

at this time a giant woman approached them and introduced herself," hello, professor flitwick and Lily potter, I'm Olympe Maxime , headmistress of Beauxbatons academy for magic, this is Laura Galindo a student of our academy and belongs to the Italian pureblood family Galindo. May I ask who are the participants from Hogwarts, are they late?".

flitwick also greeted her politely and said," madam Maxime, there is only one participant from Hogwarts and it's Alexander James Potter, this young man here".

Madam Maxime who heard this laughed and said," you have a nice sense of humour, professor flitwick, tell me who is the real candidate of Hogwarts please". flitwick didn't say anything but looked at her seriously, madam Maxime dumbfounded and asked," this is a joke right professor?, a 11 year old kid participating in this championship, are you serious? or Hogwarts didn't have any suitable candidates for this competition?".

before flitwick can reply Lily said," it's as you heard madam Maxime, Alex is participating in this championship and he will win this, you'll see". madam Maxime didn't say anything just looked at Alex and Lily , the girl with Maxime is looking at Alex with a frown and ridicule and they both went to their seats.

soon Alex representing Hogwarts is spread among the participants and they are looking at him like they are eager to claim their first match as victory after seeing Alex. especially students from drumstrang , they looking and laughing at Alex. this pissed him off , when he heard about this championship, he decided to hold back but after seeing these people , he decided to beat the crap out of them.

soon, the first duel began and it's Alex vs Stephanie rook , an ilvermony student. she looking at Alex with a pitiful gaze , this even more enraged Alex and as soon as the duel started he used multi cast to send 2 disarming spells towards her, though she used the shielding charm, it's broken by the first disarming charm and another one knocked the wand out of her hand.

silence, the arena is so quiet that even one could here a pin when it's dropped. then the whole arena erupted with noise, they couldn't believe a 11 year old child to disarm a girl who studied far more grades than him.

even the girl is looking blankly at Alex and the refree announced her defeat, Alex give the wand back to her and she exited the stage still shocked, the next match is between Beauxbatons and Uagadou an African wizarding school due to lack of wands they practised wandless magic, but Beauxbatons girl Eleanor Laurent defeated them with some trouble, then there is a match between drumstrang Robert Ivanov and mahoutokoro ( japanese wizarding school) Hirito kaguya, Hiroto won the match like a cake walk and the drumstrang player goes to his seat.

the next match will be Alex vs Hirito and Hirito is watching Alex with ridicule in his eyes, this flared up Alex and he goes to the arena.
