Chapter 9: Departure
- One Piece World ~ Conomi Islands ~ Port -
It was now the third day after Arlong died, and the Port of the Conomi Islands was utterly packed with villagers of different villages who wanted to say their goodbye to the Straw Hat Pirates that finally freed them from the Tyranny of the Fishman.
At the last moment, when the Straw Hats just wanted to leave, there was a minor turmoil at the forefront of the line, and some of the villagers brought a massive bag with them to the port.
"We collected the money from Arlong's park, and thanks to you all helping us so much, we decided to give you half of it. We know normally you deserve everything, but we just can't do that. I am sorry." Genzo, Cocoyasi Village's sheriff, said to the Straw Hats.
"What are you talking about? That is more than enough. Thanks." Harry said shamelessly without any remorse.
He knew the character of this Genzo, and he would never accept it if we declined the money, so Harry simply accepted and walked to the big bag.
In the first place, Harry knew having too much money wasn't good for a village without any power behind them.
Stretching out his hands, the bag suddenly disappeared, to the surprise of everyone else on the port.
"Did you just crush the money," Nami asked with a weird, cold, and emotionless voice from the back of the boat.
It sends shivers down everyone's backs.
'Even after all that, Nami is still a money fan.' Nojiko thought to herself with a smile.
'Did my back just get colder?' Harry asked himself while his back shivered.
"Of course, I just vanished it, and it will return whenever I want," Harry stated.
"Good. Good." Nami smiled at him still with a weird smile on her face.
Returning to the boat, the Straw Hats started to set the sails.
Even after a loud goodbye and the island not being in sight anymore, Nami still stood on the boat, her eyes directed to where her home was.
'Tomorrow, it will be one week since I left my 'home' in the original timeline. I still have to go back so I can take the weekly food from the door, and also, they said something about cleaning the bucket in my room. Well, whatever. It seems like I have to leave for a night and a day. It's good that the spawn point of the Worldgate can be the ship even if it is moving.' Harry thought to himself.
Suddenly, Nami turned around and asked Harry the question she wanted to ask the most since they set sail.
"Harry, how much Belly did we get from Arlong?" Nami asked him directly.
"Our money?" Harry asked her weirdly. 'Didn't I kill them all? Normally, I wouldn't bother, but with the Gacha System, it's something else.'
"Yeah, sorry, of course, I mean my money. How much did I get." Nami asked while her eyes were weirdly changed to Belly signs.
'?!' "300.000.000 Belly." Harry said.
That answer got the attention of all the others on the ship.
While everyone looked at him with expectation, he also stated, "Sorry, but I really need that money right now. I have an ability that can only be activated with money, and it actually needs a lot of it."
After a small explanation about his ability, they looked at Harry weirdly, but they agreed when he told them he would show them in the future.
They still didn't know that Harry did not really come from this world, but he would bother with that problem later when he left for a day.
He didn't know why, but somehow, after only two days, he knew that he could trust them even with his life.
That is a feeling Harry has never felt before, not even with Hermione and Ron in the past.
It felt refreshing.
Looking at the System's location update, Harry asked Nami where 'Wano Country' was and if it was a long way from there.
The spot would refresh tomorrow, but maybe this Wano Country is near here?
Nami frowned and answered "Wano Country? Never heard of it! There are so many islands in this world, and the only maps I ever saw were from East Blue and the start of the grandline."
After that, the day calmly went by, and after everyone ate Sanji's food, Harry said he had to leave until tomorrow, which he had to explain once again.
This time, they were shocked more than a bit.
Weird abilities are not uncommon with the explanation of Devil Fruits, but other worlds? That is hard to believe.
"SHISHISHISHI. Take us with you!" Luffy said with a smile, not even thinking Harry would lie to them.
"Yes. I also want to know the ingredients and receipt of another world. It would be interesting." Sanji added with an afterthought.
"Are there any strong swordsmen?" Zorro asked, interested.
"Do you all really believe in this other world thing?" Usopp asked, looking at them with weird eyes like they had all gone crazy.
"Of course, Harry is our partner, so we believe in him!" said Nami, surprising Harry that she would so easily trust him after only two days.
"I am sure with a connection to another world importing some of the products, we could make a lot of money!" Nami said. 'Well, now we know why she looks so happy about this other world thing.' The crew thought.
"That's not possible at the moment. There are still some minders on the other side that wouldn't look that good if I returned with so many other people."
"It was good to get to know you all. I will leave and return tomorrow, probably at the same time as right now." Harry said while activating the door to his home world, stunning Usopp in the process.
Who wouldn't be surprised if a door suddenly appeared before them?
Of course, he was the only one shocked in this crew of monsters.
'He didn't lie?!' Usopp thought to himself in shock.
Before the door closed, after Harry walked through it, you could only see a blur of orange hair hasting after the boy who had just vanished through the door.
When the door vanished, only four people were left on the boat while Luffy lay on the ground with a red wound on his head. "Why does her fist hurt so much? My body is out of Rubber!"
First, Luffy wanted to run through the door with Harry, but somehow Nami saw it and hit him on the head, only for her to rush after Harry herself.
"Nami-san left with him! They will be alone for a whole day!" said Sanji with jealousy and grief in his voice.
"Stupid Curly eyebrows," muttered Zorro to Sanji.
"HAA, what do you want, you stupid mosshead!" Sanji countered before they started to fight again.
"He looked so sad and hurt when he had to go back! That is probably also the reason Nami ran after him." Luffy added in one of his rare moments of sanity. That was also why he wanted to follow him at the start, but now that Nami is with him, he is relieved.
"But who will navigate the ship now when Nami is not here?" Usopp asked, bringing the other three people on the ship to look at him.
Usopp couldn't stop but cry at his situation.
Why is he the only normal person in this crew?
