7 Chapter 7: Straw Hat Pirates

When Luffy finally arrived at Arlong Park, he had expected many things, but seeing a broken gate combined with a massive ravine going out from the gate's spot wasn't what he had expected.

As he looked further inside, he could see a man sitting in the middle of a bloodbath while crying.

"Ahh?" Luffy asked, a bit dumbfounded by the situation.

"What happened here?!" Usopp asked with a scared voice.

"Everyone dead..." Zorro added, also a bit dumbfounded but clearly more calmly than the others, seemingly not that bothered by that bloody scene. It was not his first time seeing a scene like that.

Looking at one of his old friends standing in front of the other villagers, Zorro asked him what happened.

"Well, when we came here first to fight against some of the Fishman, but when we arrived, we already saw that teenager up there massacring the Fishman altogether. It was weird. Every time some of them came near him, they would resolve into thin air, and the ones who didn't vanish were done by him with one punch." said Johnny, a normal-looking man with some sunglasses in front of his eyes. 

He was greatly shocked by the scene that happened in front of him some minutes ago.

"When he finished killing them all, he suddenly slumped to the ground and started to cry for no reason while looking at his own hands." He added.

Hearing that, Luffy suddenly started to smile brightly. He didn't care anymore and began to walk to Harry with a big smile on his face.

Harry, seeing that someone was coming, wiped away his tears and stood up, facing the young black-haired teen in front of him. He had a small scar under his eyes, he noticed.

He already recognized that guy with the long nose in the background for the one Nami rescued from Arlong earlier that day.

'The two seemed to come together? What does he want?'

Luffy walked in front of Harry and loudly said, "Hello, I'm Monkey D Luffy, and I'm Gonna Be King Of The Pirates! Do you want to join my pirate crew?" he suddenly screamed, surprising Harry and the others present greatly.

Usopp looked even more scared than when he first saw this bloodbath scene. 'He is inviting the murderer of this place into our crew?!'

Harry just tilted his head and asked the question he knew was probably pretty stupid in this world, but he didn't care much since he really didn't know. 

'Pirates seem like to be sea thieves in my world?'

"What are Pirates in the first place, and what is a Pirate King?" Harry asked, making them all look at him weirdly.

Luffy didn't care and said directly, "Being free is to be a pirate. And the person with the most freedom in the sea is the Pirate King!" he said with a weird-sounding laugh.

"Free?" Harry asked in wonder. Isn't that what I want to be? Being imprisoned for my whole life, can somebody like me be free in the first place?

"Can somebody like me be free?" asked Harry slowly.

"Of course, you can!" followed Luffy with his now standard smile.

'Maybe it is my inner Gryffindor that is considering saying yes, but should I really accept?'

Thinking about something, he looked at Usopp and then at Luffy.

"There is an orange-haired girl living here in this Village. Do you know her? I saw that guy over there with her some hours ago." Harry asked curiously, making the Villagers a bit scared why he asked such a question.

"Ohh, you mean Nami? She is the Navigator of our Crew!" Luffy answered.

"Okay, I will join," said Harry with a slight blush, which he hoped nobody saw.

"Alright, we have a new crew member! Let's have a banquet!" Luffy screamed while turning around with both his arms in the air. While laughing for a bit more, Luffy started to walk away in the direction of the Village.

"Wait. Shouldn't we at least bring out the money from that building over there?" Harry asked while the villagers got a bit anxious. 

They didn't need all the money from the years since they knew themselves it would be too dangerous for such a small village to have so much money, but some of it would be really good since the villages on this island are really poor.

"Don't worry, we will pick it up for you later!" said a man with scars all over his face with a severe face. He knew that someone even more dangerous than Arlong couldn't be offended.

"For me? What are you talking about? Just pick it up. I just wanted to help you carry it all." Harry said a bit weirdly. 'Do they think I am a robber? Even though I need money for my System, it doesn't mean I will rob some poor people who need that money to live.'

"Well, never mind, then let's leave for that banquet," Harry said while walking after Luffy to get something to eat.

Since his physical body had been upgraded and he got stronger, he needed more nutrients, so he had to eat a lot. 

There wasn't a problem in the training room since there were many animals he could hunt and eat, but now that he thinks about it, 

It will probably be annoying to get so much food every day.

He thought while, at the same moment, already forgetting about the massacre he had done just minutes ago. 

Luffy really has something that lets other people forget about their worries.

At the same time, when the Villagers and the Straw Hat Group left Arlong's Park, some people with white-blue uniforms started to appear from their hiding.

"Scary." said their leader, who looked like a mouse. He came here instantly after Nami ran away from them, and they saw the whole fight that the mysterious teenager had against Arlong.

"Captain Nezumi! We have to report what happened here instantly. That guy joined the Straw Hat Pirates! We have to report it to the headquarters!" said one of the marines behind the man.

"You are right. Let's go instantly. By the way, bring that girl's money back!" Captain Nezumi said while looking at the bag full of Belly in one of his subordinate's hands. 

Maybe he was a greedy and corrupt marine, but being corrupt and going up so many military ranks like him showed that he wasn't stupid. 

Why would he provoke people he couldn't defeat? 

Sometimes, you must know when to give up to extend your life.

"Alright! Let's leave and report the news of the Straw Hats." Captain Nezumi said while running away to the other side of the island.
