2 Chapter 2. Prisoner

"Sorry. But do we even know each other? Why do you speak to me like we have been best friends for ages, and why would you ask me where I go? In the first place, who are you even, and why are you here?" Harry asked the witch calmly.

Others who knew Harry would probably look at him oddly for speaking like that, but Harry just thought he had to be more mature in the future, or he would be taken advantage of too often.

He knew others were already using him, and if he acted a bit more mature, he hoped that this would change for the better and he would be taken more seriously.

Of course, that hope wouldn't be fulfilled, but he couldn't change that.

She looked at him like he was stupid and said, "I am Tonks, one of your guards for this summer, and of course, we can't just let you out! Do you know how dangerous it is for you to leave this house?!" She said to him.

"Guards? One of my guards? Why would I have guards? When did I become a prisoner? Do you want to tell me that I can't even leave this stupid house? If the wards Dumbledore said are erected here, why would I need guards in the first place? It makes no sense." asked Harry, a bit more angryly.

He knew that Dumbledore would probably send someone to watch him, but that they would even forbid him to leave the house was a new high even for them. 'Since when was I a prisoner?' Harry thought to himself.

"Of course, because Voldemort is back again, we have to secure the boy-who-lived since you are his first target, and you are in this house because Dumbledore said you have to!" She said to him while taking out her wand.

Not knowing what she wanted to do with her wand in hand, he just watched, surprised when a red spell flew in his direction, and the last thing he heard before the spell hit him was.

"Sorry, but Dumbledore said we shouldn't talk with you in the first place, so now I will bring you back to your room."

'??!'

.........….

"What the Hell!!" Harry said while slowly getting up from the bed he was placed in.

'Haha, she saw this pitiful dumb that the Dursleys call my room and still left me here.' Harry thought while laughing at himself.

'There are over ten locks at the door and even some blood of the Harry beatings of the past, but she still left me here. Of course, maybe she didn't see the blood, but the locks at the door have to be something that she would notice.'

Ignoring his still sore feelings legs, he started to walk to his room door, but when he wanted to open it, he quickly realized something had happened when he was unconscious. Suddenly, he heard someone screaming from the other side of the door.

"BOY! You are awake! What do you think you are doing bringing one of yours into this house! We won't allow any more freakishness in this house this year! Wanting to get rid of you, I had a small talk with one of your guards, and we decided that we would just use these good locks at the door so you wouldn't annoy any of us with your presence. We will give you something to eat through the cat flap at the bottom of the door once a day, and in the corner of the room is a bucket that you can use as a toilet, and once a week, we will let you empty it in the bathroom so until then shut up and don't make any sounds or we will not give you anything to eat for a whole week like in the past! Maybe we could even return to the good old beatings to learn your lesson more thoroughly."

Not waiting for an answer, Harry could only hear his heavy footsteps leaving down the stairs.

Harry couldn't believe it.

'This Woman actually told Vernon that he should be imprisoned here in this room so she wouldn't have so much work to do?! What the hell is wrong with that woman?! She didn't only see the locks. She even suggested using them?! That can't be the normal behavior of an adult. I knew the Ordner of the Phoenix and wizards and witches were generally stupid, but this tops it all.'

Thinking about his fucked up life, Harry couldn't help to slump against his door with his back while slowly sliding down.

"At least Hedwig is not here. It was good that I sent her away to send a letter for Sirius in the morning." Harry said to himself before he thought more about his current situation.

"Prisoner. I am a fucking prisoner. I can't believe it. Why didn't my parents leave in the past? This Wizarding world is obviously not worth their sacrifice. Why would they fight for a world like that? But thinking about it, maybe the two of them were the same kind? No, I shouldn't think anything like this." Harry said but stopped at the end, feeling guilty to think something like that about his dead parents.

What Harry didn't expect was someone actually to answer to his muttered words.

"Well, answering your question. Yes, your parents would have done the same. Of course, they wouldn't do it to their own son, but if the chosen one were another child, they wouldn't care and would have done the same thing that Tonks women had done some minutes ago. The problem is that they don't think they did anything wrong since the 'great' Albus Dumbledore ordered them to do it. Most people in the Wizarding world are sheep that can't think for themselves. Of course, there are exceptions, but not too many. Even the children of two non–magical humans like your mother will be turned into something like that over the years in Hogwarts. Most of the time, they even break the contact between themselves and their non-magical parents."

"I don't say your parents were bad people, but in the end, they showed too much trust in a specific individual like many others. But I am sure if they saw your current life and situation, they would help you with anything they can do and would even fight against this 'great' Dumbledore for you. They loved you, that is for sure."

The weird male voice said to Harry without any detectable emotion in his voice. Only he knew that he only said that so his charge wouldn't be so depressed. He knew the boy's parents would probably still support the old man, but he wouldn't say that to the child in front of him.

To Harry's surprise, he couldn't see anyone when he looked around his room.

'Who is talking to me?!' Harry thought with some panic.

"I won't show myself to you and will only communicate with you in your mind, so don't bother looking for me. Now for the topic I wanted to visit you for."

"I want to give you a chance to be free." the voice said with some mystery in his tone.
