24 'First expedition'

"Oh!! Then professor quirrell is not in the hogwarts anymore?" Edward just acted like he was really surprised.

"Yup! Professor dumbledore said that they will get another professor foe defence against dark arts class."

Ron said a bit excitedly, as quirrell didn't teach them with any proper knowledge as he always behaved like he was a sort of scared of something.

"Hermione!! You also said there will be a expedition class for gryffindor first years right in the end of this week right?" Edward asked to confirm this, as this may leads to some casualties.

This will also be the first real issue that hogwarts will face off against ministry of magic. But, he really doesn't care about all these things, as it will only serve as purpose for his goal of overthrowing ministry of magic.

"Oh! Hermione, is that malfoy is challenging for the duel again?" Edward asked and thought where has he got the courage from. Hermione simply nodded her head to confirm his thoughts.

"Lets not agree for that duel now hermione! I think in these holidays he may learned something really powerful from his house. First let me challenge him and we will see what he have up on his sleeves." Edward said after thinking sometime.

"Yup!! Then are you going to teach any more new spells that we may be able to learn now?" Hermione asked with a bit of anticipation on her voice.

"Whatever you want to learn, i will definitely will teach you. That is only if you can learn that, so don't worry about those things anymore." Edward said with normal tone. But they understood that really meant what he said.

"Let's go edward, afternoon classes are going to begin in a short moment." Ron hurried them, as classes will start in 10 minutes.

"You guys can go, as i am still have leave for today. I won't be attending classes anymore today. I also want to see how egsy is doing and will feed him with fish amy gave me for him." Edward said, as he really want to experiment on something, that he has been pondering over.

"Then we will go for now. we can meet at dining table in the evening." Harry also said as hurried.

Soon the three of them ran away from their dorm. But edward looked at them pondering whether to give them the breathing technique that he simplified. But he soon, relieved all those thoughts by shaking his head.

"As for now, i have two concentrate on two things. These two things may completely change the entire harry potter world which has yet to fully affect the world because of my presence." Edward has started thinking about the enlightenment he got before he went home for christmas.

When he was watching the mandrakes that made a sound when they get dug out, he used the observato spell on them and found out that's not a random cry. They have a specific pattern and formations on their bodies which targets a persons eardrums.

But That magic can only be used once and after that, their entire meridians will be affected by this violent magic. This is like riding a double edged sword for them, but they still will take it and use it without any concerns.

Edward is really interested in this magic and he absorbed more and more mandrakes on the following days and fully grasped the details of pattern and formations on their bodies.

Now, he understood that they are creating a sort of sound wave by this pattern. But it will not affect the target if they are protecting their ears by covering them, making it a fatal flaw in this technique.

Edward wanted to use this technique as a reference and the idea he got enlightened from, to create a curse which will affect a persons entire cells instead of just their eardrums. If he can really create this technique, that will definitely create a huge mess in the entire harry potter world as this will be a technique that can't be defended easily and may even surpass all the three unforgivable curses.

Second thing he got interested is that, core formation technique. That core created from this technique is actually way faster than the cores all the magicians in this world have, when absorbing magic. But what he discovered is that its different for different people, like its differ with talent people have.

His mother have three times more than what natural magicians speed. While his grandmother is only twice the speed of them. Each one in his family have different speeds when they absorb magic, his grandfather is the person he has seen highest with 3.5 times. Even his father and uncle have 2.5 times faster than natural magicians.

He thought that if he were to use this technique and create a core, with his natural talent, it may lead to absurd speed. That is what he was considering as his second concern.

But, he doesn't know what consequences thi will lead to. But soon, he shook all his thoughts and thought,

"If can't even take the risk like this, how can i meet my sister with this pitiful courage?" He questioned himself and decided to experiment this on himself. If he succeeds on this that he may not even need three years to reach a red cored magician.

Deciding that, he didn't waste any more thoughts on this topic and fed the fish amy gave him for to egsy and started practicing this technique to create the core.

On the dumbledore office, Four department heads and dumbledore started to discuss on the expedition to see where they want to take first years of gryffindors and other houses.

"Professors! Do you have any particular place that you have on your mind?" Professor dumbledore asked.

"Hatfield forest should be our best choice as there are more normal beasts than magical beasts. Taynish oakwoods are also one of the choice, i would suggest as that is nearer than hatfield but a bit more dangerous than hatfield."

Professor mcgonagall said after pondering for sometime. All the professors also started considering her suggestion, as that will be best for students as that is one of the best choices they have.

"I too agree with hatfield that is not a large one and we will be able to react quickly, if something serious were to happen to the students." Professor snape also responded agreeing with mcgonagall.

Soon other two also agreed with this suggestion and dumbledore also said after thinking sometime.

"Then Gryffindors and ravenclaw will join and go hatfield with their head of departments. Hufflepuffs and slytherins will go to taynish oakwoods with their head of depts."
