1 {Quadwizard Tournament 1} Off to Britain

It was about an year ago that Albus Dumbledore had called for help from Chiron, the centaur responded a week after. His old friend had accepted to help him. However, the help will only arrive after an year, since the selected helpers need to go through some training.

Dumbledore had his doubts about the helpers his old friend decided to dispatch, but he was still grateful—it was better than no help at all.

Dumbledore is fully aware that his friend, Chiron, is a centaur, and not just any centaur. He knew that Chiron is the director of a camp, and that the camp is not an ordinary place. The campers all have something in common...the camp was named Camp Half-Blood. The meaning of 'half-blood' is certainly not the same as the wizards' definition of 'half-blood'.

Chiron had told him a bit about how the camp train its occupants and such, including a bit about how monsters go after the campers and how the place is like a safe place for them. America is sure dangerous. Albus Dumbledore had wanted to hear more, but he knows that it's better to not prod. Some things are better left unknown, ignorance can be a blessing.

Harry had gone though a lot ever since his first year. He had met Sirius last year, but the reunion didn't last long. This year, the Triwizard Tournaments are back. The tournaments are very dangerous, and Harry, as a fourth year student, would not be allowed to participate. However, the boy would probably be facing more dangers as well, none of the years he had ever since he got his letter had gone well. This is also a good year to introduce the 'helpers' Chiron sent to Harry.

The helpers are going to be disguised as students from a mysterious American wizard school, Half-Bloods Battle Academy. Dumbledore find the name of the school quite intriguing, he and Chiron decided to make it a real exchange program to make things seem even more authentic. Their backstory for the school would be that it is a secret magical academy that chooses its candidates carefully and sparingly, so it is not recorded in any books.

Half-Bloods Battle Academy would be the special guest—the fourth school—to engage in the Triwizard Tournament this year. The students that had arrived this year will then stay for the following years for a foreign exchange program.

And since the helpers will participate in the tournament for their school/camp, making the three schools into four schools, the Triwizard Tournament this year would not be like the ones before at all. In fact, although it's still called the Triwizard Tournament, Dumbledore had already secretly renamed the tournament as Quadwizard Tournament...not that anybody know...yet.

Durmstrang Institute's Headmaster, Igor Karkaroff, wasn't exactly pleased about that. He said that he finds it ridiculous that they had to change the tradition of the tournament between the three schools. Anyhow, he eventually cooperated with the change. After all, the new party were special guests all the way from America. It's not a good thing to offend them, considering he knew basically nothing about what they are like. The wizard still has his doubts though.

Beauxbatons Academy of Magic's Headmistress, Olympe Maxime, was fine with it. She think that changing up the tournament a bit would be interesting, although she, like Durmstrang's headmaster, also have some doubts. The past tournaments haven't worked out that well, adding another school may make it better—but it can also make it worst.

September is approaching, it would soon be Hogwarts' opening day for the school year.

This year's tournament, would be unlike the tournaments of any other years...

"Alright! That should be it!" Nico watched his sunny boyfriend closely as he finished sorting everything in his room on the Argo II.

Will smiled brightly, causing Nico to look at him dazedly. No matter how many times he see that smile the other boy makes, he still can't get used to it...ugh...

Luckily, Annabeth arrived before his face start to burn any redder.

"We would be taking off soon, so I'm doing a last check up over whether we got everything." The grey eyed girl said.

"I'm pretty sure I got everything." Will replied. Nico nodded, agreeing with him. Will had legit turn the whole camp over to make sure that he got everything. Much like Annabeth, as she had done that quite a few times before as well.

"Okay, I'll go inform Chiron and Leo about this. Everyone should go gather in the meeting room."

All fourteen of them and Chiron quickly gathered into the meeting room of Argo II.

This group had trained together for a whole year for this huge trip.

The group of fourteen includes:

-Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto. (Hazel is chill)

-Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus. (I very much appreciate this clown)

-Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, daughter of Bellona. (A fierce and independent leader)

-Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. (Thaila...thug life...hahaha)

This quest is more of a vacation compared to the other ones.

Traveling to not just another continent, but even another world, another society, to protect someone...it's definitely not a simple quest, but then, that's what quests are...complicated and dangerous.

That world is filled with people who knew magic, and magic is a powerful thing.

That makes their job harder, they have to learn more about wizards and their world to make sure they can keep Harry Potter safe. After all, even wizard society would have rebels and lawbreakers...and that Tom Marvolo Riddle, or the alias he's most known by, Voldemort, is one of them.

From what they heard about him, he seem to be proficient with magic, intelligent, and is a psychopath that wishes to expel the wizards of "muggle-blood".

Muggles are what wizards called non-wizards, and muggle-born wizards are wizards who are from muggle parents.

Pure-bloods are like the opposite of muggle-borns, they're from a family with lines of wizards in all previous generations—that's what they say but the wizard society just counts on whether your parents and grandparents are wizards. Since according to the Wizarding family history book Annabeth had read obsessively over, almost every so-called pure-blood family has some muggle ancestors.

And then they have "half-bloods", Percy had thought the book meant half-bloods demigods like them for a moment, but that idea was quickly dispelled. There certainly was no mention of the gods or anything related to Greek mythology in the school books Chiron gave them.

The Greeks, Romans, and Hunters of Artemis will be staying together for the time the fourteen of them are absent. It is to ensure everyone's safety without the strongest people. Even without the fourteen of them, the three forces are still very competent and powerful, but it's better to be careful, you never know what might happen.

Especially since the quest they are being sent on this time is longer than the usual ones. This can help improve the bond the relationship between the three forces, so it's not that bad of an idea.

"Everything's prepared?" Chiron asked.

"Yep, everything's ready." Annabeth nodded as she confirms the checklist one last time.

"Okay, then let's head off to Britain!"

Captain Leo began to sail the ship.

The Argo II began to float in the air, like a plane, and headed east, towards it's passengers' destination.

"Leo did a great job with the mechanisms and other functions." Calypso decided to praise him for once, after all, this ship is really a masterpiece.

"Yep! I sure did. Hazel taught me about how to control the Mist, so we don't have to worry about anyone seeing us!" Obvious pride can be seen from his expression.

"I'm glad that Zeus decide to let it off for the quest, but it's still unnerving to hang around in his domain." Percy grumbled, Nico nodded along, agreeing with him.

"Hmm, actually, now that I thought about it...Chiron? Can wizards see past the Mist?" Annabeth raised a good question.

"Wizards' exposure rate to the Mist is like normal people, but there might be cases of Rachel (Rachel is a normal person but can see past the mist)." Chiron explained patiently.

"Huh, that actually makes sense." Leo whistled. "Welp, you guys can all go now, I can tell that ADHD is acting up once again. Make to praise me if your impressed by the new rooms and other things I've added to the ship!"

Right after Leo finished talking, everyone legit bolted out of the room. Leaving Leo and Chiron in the main room. Even Calypso left, talking with Reyna and Thaila about spears or something.

Leo: "..."

Leo: "Not even a goodbye?" :(

Chiron: "Hahaha...well, what did you expect?"
