7 CH.7 Wands are for suckers.

after that interesting event, Robert and the rest finally got started shopping for the supplies they first went to Madam Malkin's robes for all occasions and had them each fitted for their new robes it honestly made me feel jealous I mean I am literally wearing rags but I know I have to endure it for now.

After the girls finished with their robes which I started carrying they went to buy the cauldrons and then get their books at flourish and bloots which I enjoyed with the pure amount of knowledge that is here but I know that one day I will have it all.

after they got their books and gave me it again which was starting to get heavy even for me but I just realized I could use magic to make it float which I did.

this continued for a while the girls getting their supplies and giving them to me to carry and just me enjoying the sites.

the second best part of this all is when they went to get their owls it was really nice to be around so many animals. I don't know why but I just like animals a lot but don't get me wrong I still eat meat I just respect these magnificent creatures especially the owl.

the twins got matching owls because they named them something that I could not be bothered to remember.

And then finally they started going to Ollivander wand shop which I'm not going to lie I am excited about for a lot of reasons one is I can observe how exactly a wand interacts with a wizard.

we entered the shop which looked the same as the movie, but the room just gave it a feeling of mystery.

"Daddy I don't think anyone in here," Tracy said after looking around.

"yes, where the owner" nancy followed after her.

Robert was about to say something until the presence I felt behind finally spoke " I'm right here ms Hurbert" Ollivander said shooking all except me.

"ah, Mr. Hubert twelve inches long oak with a Pheonix tailfeather core and madam Hubert nine inches spruce wood with unicorn tail as the core I never forget a wand it seems just yesterday you were in here," Ollivander said while having a face that said he was remember found times.

"yes but now where here to get our girls their wands would you please do your job instead of scarring everyone that comes in here," Robert said with an annoyed and angry face.

"ah yes let's get it along with it then come along," Ollivander said with a happy face as if he didn't even hear what Robert said.

He brought the girls up front and started measuring both of their arms and hands then finally he went and got a wand from the box it was at this time that I put more mana into my eyes to see the mana flow.

"try this ms. nancy 8 inches mahoganyDragonheartd dragon heartstring core wand" he said then gave her the wand.

when he gave her the wand I focused on her mana and saw how unrefined it was and how little control she had of it but when it went from her hand to the wand the mana was forced into a straight path blocking it from being free it was barbaric.

"hmm that doesn't seem to be it lets try another," he said after grabbing the wand from nancy.

this went on for a few minutes including Tracy and the results that I have gotten from this is that wands are stupid.

to easily explain this imagine mana being water and the container being your body when you want to take out the water and use it you would try taking it out slowly and practice to make it perfect but with a want its basically putting a high-tech hose with pressure control on the container sure it can give you power but on the long run you won't be able too ever use that water without that wand even if you could find a stronger way to take out said water from the container.

As much as I was disappointed I was still happier because getting a wand would have been a pain in the ass.

After Nancy and Tracy got their wands which were 8 inches cedar and unicorn hair for Tracy and 8 inches mahogany Pheonix tailfeather for nancy they finally finished getting their supplies and went home and I was glad because this was getting heavy and annoying.

Now can I ask you something what do you think two wizard children do after getting their wands simple they practice more specifically they use a practice dummy to use spells on and guess who gets to be the practice dummy.

After putting their stuff away I was called outside and told to stay in front of them and not move.

" I'm going first," Nancy said

" Why do you get to go first," Tracy said angrily

"because I'm the oldest," Nancy said with a haughty face like her mother.

"fine" Tracy said.

nancy smiled and turned to me and pointed her wand at me I acted afraid but I wanst. the reason because I'm using this as an opportunity to test out if I can shield myself from magic so I have already spread my mana around myself so now all I have to do is pretend.

"confrigo" she said and then I felt i was hit by a truck which trusts me i know and was thrown back onto the floor.

I did not need to pretend that it because that did hurt but it did give me insight on what i did wrong i just spread the mana and never hardened it so i did just that and stand back up and went to the spot i was on just in time for Tracy to hit me with another confrigo but this time it did not hurt that much but it did take a lot out of my mana reserve.

This continued for about an hour till they got bored so i just picked my self and went to the house where my mother was she just gave me food and went to sleep.

it always bothered me why she never spoke to me but i never spoke to her either just because i know what I'm speaking to is but a doll. the thought of legilimens did come up to try to see if i could undo the damage but i quickly dismissed that idea I'm nowhere good enough at ligilimens, in fact, i haven't even started i don't really have any people to try it ou yet.

I ate my food which was just scarps but i don't care i was too tired from that beating to care. i know you might think why do you take the beatings and don't fight back to that i say that i take those beatings because its the only way i can stay safe in this world i am a house elve lowest of them all my species is supposed to be able to do one thing and that's to serve by 'serving' these people no monster i get knowledge and place to cultivate my power till I'm ready to actually take care of my self and if that mean hiding my fangs and take a beating than by all means.

But don't get me wrong I will have revenge not just for me but for the mother I never had with that thought I went to sleep.
