9 Magical Gathering (1) Suiting Up!

I stood in the midst of my room, anticipation, and excitement swirling through my mind. Finally, after undergoing the process of awakening my magical core, I had reached a significant milestone in my journey—the key to unlocking my personal dimension. This space, imagined as a haven solely for myself and those I permitted, was on the verge of becoming a reality.

With Prana perched on my shoulder, its feathers ruffling gently, I closed my eyes and focused all my thoughts on my personal dimension. I envisioned the serene atmosphere, the cozy home, and the lush garden that awaited me. Taking a deep breath, I whispered to myself, "Enter."

In an instant, the surrounding room dissolved, and I found myself standing in a serene and ethereal landscape. The air was crisp, infused with a hint of magic, filling me with a sense of calm and contentment. I couldn't help but marvel at the breathtaking beauty of my personal dimension. Before me stood a small single-family home, embraced by a medium-sized garden bursting with vibrant flowers and lush greenery.

Excitement coursed through my veins as I ventured deeper into my newfound sanctuary. The house, though modestly furnished, emanated warmth and comfort. Each corner held a touch of my personality, from the cozy reading nook to the neatly organized shelves brimming with books on magic and mysticism. A private, self-adjusting lab awaited my experiments and magical pursuits in a separate room.

A smile crept across my face as I realized the boundless potential and freedom my personal dimension offered. Here, I could immerse myself in my studies, refine my magical abilities, and chart my own path to greatness. Within these walls, I was shielded from any harm, safeguarded by the very essence of my deepest desires. It was a space that resonated with my soul, a place where I could be my truest self.

Prana fluttered from my shoulder and took flight, exploring the garden with joyful chirps. The sparrow seemed to revel in the magical energy that permeated the air, embracing its own growth and transformation. I watched with a profound sense of pride, knowing that my bond with Prana had propelled our shared journey forward.

As the day began to fade, a realization tugged at the back of my mind. I couldn't stay in my personal dimension indefinitely. Although this realm offered me solace and a refuge from the world, I couldn't simply suddenly vanish and get my parents worried.

Reluctantly, I stepped back, away from the idyllic scene before me. I closed my eyes once again, focusing on the familiar sensation of my room, my connection to the physical world. In my mind, I visualized the transition, the dissolution of the ethereal landscape, and the return to my room.

As I opened my eyes, I found myself standing in the familiar surroundings of my room once more. Prana perched on my shoulder, its feathers now settled.

Since now, I had nothing to do, I made my way downstairs to spend sometime with my parents as I usually do. They were in the living room, engrossed in their own activities. I approached them with a smile.

"Hey, Mom, Dad," I greeted them casually.

My mom's eyes narrowed with a hint of suspicion, but she quickly brushed it off. "Hello dear, how was your day so far," she said.

I replied that it was good so far

"Good to hear," my mom replied with a warm smile.

I paused for a moment, considering whether I should tell them about my personal dimension. While I trusted my parents, I knew that the existence of my personal dimension might be overwhelming for them, and it's not something I wish to tell anyone about soon. So, I decided not to tell them about it for now.

As we continued our conversation, my parents exchanged warm smiles before my mother spoke up, her voice filled with excitement. "Guess what, sweetheart? We have a special event coming up, and we thought it would be a great opportunity for you to make some new friends!"

I looked up at my parents, my eyes wide with curiosity. "Really? What kind of event is it, Mom?"

My dad chimed in, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "It's a gathering of some important business families, and we've been invited to attend. We thought it would be fun for you to join us and meet other kids your age."

A wave of excitement washed over me as I imagined the possibility of new friendships. In my previous life I didn't have that many friends, maybe in this one I can remedy that. It's a good thing that one of my wishes from the afterlife clerk was to be free from any negative influence my previous life's memories could have on my new life including but not limited to, not being able to form normal bonds and family bonds, taking everything or everyone as fake or not serious, unnecessary fear and paranoia, and the likes.

My mom continued, her voice gentle and reassuring. "You'll have a chance to get to know other kids who come from similar backgrounds as ours. It's an opportunity to build connections and create lasting friendships."

In the days leading up to the gathering, my parents and I discussed what to expect, the activities that would be available, and how to make the most of this opportunity. They assured me that they would be there to support me and help me feel comfortable throughout the event.

The day of the gathering had arrived, I made my way downstairs, where my parents awaited me with bright smiles. My mother's eyes twinkled with excitement as she approached me and picked me up to the dressing room along with my dad. With a wave of her hand, she began to conjure materials using her magical abilities to create a dashing suit for the occasion. I stood still, filled with wonder, as my mother effortlessly used her magic to tailor the suit to perfection for. The fabric shimmered with a touch of enchantment, fitting me flawlessly.

As my mom worked her magic, she ensured that every detail was perfect, from the crisp lines of the suit to the matching tie and pocket square. She soon finished dressing me up.

"You look absolutely dashing, my little gentleman," my mother exclaimed, her voice brimming with pride.

I looked in the mirror to admire myself. Got to say that I definitely looked super cute for a 5-year-old. My dad chuckled mischievously and said, "Son, with that dapper outfit, you might need a magic wand to ward off all the admirers. Well do say 'Like Father, Like Son'. We the YOUTHFUL Son and Father duo will surely conquer ZA WORLD! With our handsomeness"

My mom rolled her eyes with an affectionate smile. "Oh, dear, he's at it again"
