1 A New Day
On the first day and first minute of the new millennia the world fundamentally changed. The 'system' had arrived. With the arrival of the system came the God Pact. The God Pact was something that was decided at birth for you, it analyzed the core of soul, and the path you would take in life even before you had. The God Pact is signed between yourself and the god you have the most affinity with. If your destiny was to be a soldier, then Ares was a god you could be assigned to. If you were a playboy, Aphrodite was a goddess you might be assigned to. However, gods also had a say in if they wanted you or not. So if you were denied by your closest related god, you might be offered to another lower god. With a god the can link to the system and access it, allowing them to improve themselves and see their abilities These are the rules decreed by the system unto the planet earth.
On the first day and the second minute all the animals on earth evolved. For they also had been assigned a god under the god pact. This is when the war for earth began.

"Honey are you are you ready for school?" a female voice said and the spoke again, "Honey! You are going to be late hurry your lazy bones up. Its your first day of normal school, I know your joining half way through the semester but I hope you make tons of friends!"
"I know mom, ill try to make friends and have a good day." I replied.
"Okay honey I will see you after school I have to go to work now, see you later." Mom said.
"See you later tonight mom." I quickly replied. Its been sixteen years since I have been pronounced godless. I am the only being on the planet earth that has been confirmed to be without a God Pact. I'm looked at as a cursed being and someone who was condemned by the gods. Its hard to be godless, I'm not allowed to open a bank account, or work for that matter. It was extremely surprising that I could go to a C tier school. It is a bad school but its still better than the online courses I was taking. Society today is heavily dictated by what kind of powers we have, it even dictates where you live. If you are a S tier you are one of the strongest people in society, they are the S tier powerhouses of each country. If you are an A tier, you are extremely powerful and garner respect of everyone in society. B tier are strong and respected but on a more local level. C tier are at the strength of an average soldier. D tier is a strong athlete. E tier is a normal human with terrible abilities, and as one of the godless humans I fall into the F tier. I have been praying everyday for the last 10 years ever since I could understand I was godless. And for 10 years nothing has happened. Even though nothing happened right away it didn't stop me I kept praying and I even further gave myself to the gods by donating all of my things, only using an old computer my mother left me for school. I also changed my appearance, I only wear extremely inexpensive clothes, and shave my head bald everyday. Even though I didn't look terrible, I am 189 cm, 81 kilograms, and a six pack.
Before I go to school today I should pray one last time for good luck, 「Dear gods, thank you for the years you have provided me, I know none of you wanted me as your pact but I still appreciate you nevertheless.」

What the hell? What just happened? Did I just get a pact? It says I unlocked the status window. I've heard from people with pacts that if you imagine your status it will appear. Status!
(A/N: all stats scale with their respective god. A pact of Athena will have higher wisdom agility and dexterity than someone from ares who would have higher strength than other stats.)

"Oh shit I got to get going! Otherwise I'm going to miss the train." As I run out of the house I grab my bad and to lock the door. Woah, I feel so much faster than before, maybe my stats increased because of the awakening?

I'm gonna miss the train. Got to run faster! Alright, I made it. That was close.
"MONSTER ALERT, SEEK SHELTER! DANGER LEVEL C!"
"Everyone run! Direwolfs are here! Go to the city shelter!" a police officer shouted.
Shit I have to get out of here. Alone a direwolf is E tier, but in a pack they are C tier. If an alpha is there it could easily turn to a B tier situation.

What the hell where did it come from! I have to fight back. I will have to use all my power in one strike. I have to kill it before it calls its friends. There is nothing around me to use to help me.
