1 Prologue

Since Ernaline Ashleigh Montenegro entered the world of showbiz she has had a series of frightening experiences. In Ernaline's state of life, she no longer has to compete but she prefers to keep up with the flow of life in the industry because it is her dream. She could live without the stain of dirt from the music industry but he still stood her ground. To the extent of the Montenegro Empire will she live like a Princess but Ernaline herself wants to stand on her own two feet without her parents' help.

Ernaline is one of the members of the Blackhand band, she’s a band vocalist. Because of her brother’s wish for his friend's request, she took the audition even though her knees almost shook with the extreme nervousness felt at that time. It was her first time taking an audition and fortunately, she was not disappointed by the talent she possessed.

CDC Entertainment is one of the strongest entertainments in the whole wide world. CDC is her newfound home and a stepping stone to reach her dreams, nor did she bother to audition for television contests or anything because Ernaline is a shy type of woman so she doesn't have the courage to let other people know. Her song, only the park of their village and her bedroom is the witness whenever she produces sound and lyrics. What she wants is to be introduced to the world her own music that she herself made, love is what she offers every time she writes a song

One time, an incident happens. Ernaline doesn’t know what happened when she found herself lying on a cold floor with tape on her mouth while both her hands and feet are all tied. As far as she knows they are in a shoot where they will make a music video for their new song.

A mysterious man came out from nowhere who was just passing by and save her. He asks the person’s name but she got a response that she doesn’t need to know about his existence.

Her brother finds out about what happened to her that’s why her brother Reiden decided to hire her a personal bodyguard.

"I don’t need a personal bodyguard big brother," she said while rushing to their library.

"Do what I say Ernaline, you know I am busy at Montenegro Empire. How can I protect you if that abduction of yours happened again, huh? What if they'll bring you back lifeless, I can't let that happen because you are the only princess of this family that's why I made this decision for your own safety and I trust this man to take care of you!" The girl's mouth fell open even though she wanted to oppose her own brother but she couldn't. She can't argue with their parents – ever her brother who has no other thought but to make her better.

Her brother is right, ever since she was the target of those bad people, her family always protects her. Now that they have their own lives and their parents are also getting older, maybe it's time for her brother to use his own power in the business world just to protect her. Her brother just wants her to be safe from disaster especially in the state of their life in the business world. So that's how her brother reacted when he found out what happened to her in Palawan.

Ernaline was exposed to a man leaning against the wall with his hands tucked in his pants pocket. She didn't even notice its presence. She did not know that there was someone else with her older brother in the library.

"He will be your bodyguard from now on Ernaline." Said her brother. Ernaline didn’t utter a word when the guy spoke.

"Perth Fynrell at your service," he said.
