Chapter 109: One Final Task
"That's a loaded question." Carissa laughed and checked the time on her cell phone. 5:45 p.m.
Only fifteen minutes until the meeting started, and she wasn't sure that was enough time to tell Georgia Rose everything. Besides, Mallory favored punctuality, and Carissa had already been MIA for an entire weekend. She didn't want to push her luck and risk not getting into the sorority.
"Long story short, she has a crazy ex-boyfriend stalking her," Tiffany said.
"It's a little more complicated than that," Carissa said. "But yeah, that's the gist of it. I'll fill you both in after the meeting, okay?"
Tiffany nodded.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to," Georgia Rose said. "But if you need anything, I'm here for you."
Carissa smiled. "Thanks, Georgia Rose."
