Chapter 104: There's Someone Else
How many times had she and Danny sat on this very bench? Talking. Laughing. Kissing. Dreaming and making plans for their future. She blinked back tears. Even though she didn't love Danny, not like she loved Bradley, she still had feelings for him and probably always would. She had spent an entire year of her life with him, and that was a long time.
She sniffed and blew out a heavy breath. No matter what happened or what he said, she needed to stay strong. Her goal was to tell him that she was with Bradley now, that she was happy, and that they were better off as just friends. Her phone buzzed, and for a fleeting moment, she hoped Danny was texting to tell her he couldn't meet her.
Bradley: Hey, gorgeous. Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you.
