CHAPTER 21

"Pamela, I need to speak with you.. alone." Penguin said.

"Okay, I'll be right back." She replied as she walked away with him.

"Harley Quinn is not the type to make promise on deals. Soon enough she will break the agreement. Before she does, I want you to betray her." He exclaimed.

"Why would I do that? What would even be the point in that?" She asked.

"You'll find out once it's done. Meanwhile you need to think about what's at stake. I can and will make your life a living hell if you don't do this."

"We had a deal, Cobblepot. You're really going to go back on your word?"

"That won't happen because I know you will do as I say. Do this for me and you get the orb and any sort of vengeance you want on Cat woman." He explained.

"I don't want vengeance on her. I just want her out of my life."

"And I can make that happen." He looked at her with intrigue. "Tell me, what did happen between you two anyways?" He asked.

"Nothing. That's my business." She had a firm voice.

"So I expect you should have an answer. What will it be?" He chuckled with an evil grin.

She hesitated. "I'll do it. I will betray Harley Quinn as long as you hold your end of the deal." She agreed.

"I would be happy to." He smiled.

Meanwhile Harley was stuck with Lucy. "I'm so glad you're here, you won't believe how much I missed you." Lucy was still very joyful.

"Yeah, I got that." Harley was awkward.

Lucy pushed her against the wall with a bright smile. To Harley it was annoyingly too positive. "What are you doing, Luce?" She asked.

"I love you so much! Don't you know that. We will be together, forever. I won't let you slip through my fingers again." Her eyes were wide.

"How long is forever?" Harley's voice went high.

"I've told you before, eternity. A never ending cycle of love. Everyday, all the time. Even now we can show our love." She exclaimed.

"I don't think now is a good time-" Lucy stopped her with a kiss.

"Harley you need to- oh hey I didn't mean to.. interrupt anything." Ivy said.

Once Lucy pulled away Harley could finally speak. "No you're not interrupting anything in fact I-I'm glad you're here. What's go-in on, red?" Ivy knew Harley just wanted to get away from Lucy.

"Well I can come back another time and let you two be alone." She winked with a little smirk forming on her face.

"NO, thank you. It's fine. What do ya need?" She asked.

"Wedding details." She answered.

"Why don't we all talk about it together?" Lucy said. "There are some surprises that we don't want to spoil. Let's go." Ivy glared at Harley. They stood outside in front of the big doors. "So what's your plan? How do we get out of this?" Harley was anxious to know. All she wanted was for everything to be over. All because she wanted to help Ivy.

"How we get out of this, well, you kind of have to... kill Lucy." Ivy told her.
