CHAPTER 11

A guard walked past the cells in a structured form.

"Hold on." Ivy whispered. She stood up and walked over to her bed. She ripped out a page from her book and grabbed a pen.

She wrote down the plan and handed it to Harley.

She read it over and looked up at Ivy. "Tonight?" She asked. Ivy nodded her head yes. Harley handed her back the page before the guard could see. "O- okay." Harley agreed to the plan.

An hour later one of the guards came to take Ivy to the gas room.

"Hey buddy! If ya wanna take her, why don't you take me too!" Harley exclaimed.

The guard closed Ivy's cell and looked at Harley.

"Yeah that's right! Come and take me too!" She added.

Ivy looked at her with confusion. What was she doing?! It's like she was trying to get into more trouble.

The guard opened Harley's cell. She gave him one glance and then she jumped landing on her hands and kicking him in the face. She stood to her feet and punched him in the stomach while grabbing his taser. She tased him until he passed out.

Harley chuckled. "That was too easy." She smirked.

"You are definitely crazy, Ms. Quinn." Ivy said.

"Thank you." She grabbed the keys to the cells.

"Hurry up!" Ivy whispered.

She proceeded to unlock the cell. "Do you think you can try using your powers?" Harley asked.

"I-I don't know. I can try."

"Great, because now would be the time to use them." Harley looked at the guards that were running towards them.

Ivy squeezed her eyes shut as she tried to use her powers. "Ivy!" Harley needed her to go faster.

Ivy pressured herself. Her veins felt like they were on fire. Her fists were clenched. Her heart was pounding as she started to feel a little light headed. But she wasn't going to give up. She could feel a small sensation in her body. It was growing.

It felt like time had stopped. She endured the pain and focused on the sensation.

Then, she felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Harley. They looked into each other's eyes. They we're nervous. They weren't sure if she would gain her powers. Ivy screamed as the burning feeling intensified.

"Come on Ivy!" Harley yelled. "You can do this!"

Ivy grabbed onto Harley's waist as the ground began to shake. A giant vine came out of the ground and knocked all the guards down.

Ivy embraced Harley into her arms as they started to lift up. A vine surrounded them to protect them. It reached the ceiling making it crumble.

Their was a big hole that they went through. The vine dropped them to the ground once they got closer to it.

Ivy grabbed Harley's wrist as she ran to the electric fence. It was tall and dangerous. "How do we get over?" Harley asked. "Hold on tight." Ivy grinned.

"Okay." Harley hugged her body tight. "Are you ready?" Ivy asked. "I was born ready." She giggled.
