28 Fighting Zabuza

They have been travelling for a week now and were nearing the village border. Alex was enjoying the sceneries as he hadn't been outside of Konoha since he arrived in this world.

The trees were very tall with thick branches and giving the vive of being sturdy. He concluded it as the effect of chakra.

They always needed to be alert during this journey as the world was not peaceful and death was sure if you become careless.

They were walking in the pace of Tazuna which was very slow considering he was an old man.

They were walking slowly when he felt some presence following them. He knew Zabuza and Haku were already on their tail waiting to ambush in the moment of their carelessness.

He waited for them to attack but it didn't happen that day. He decided to inform Kakashi since he knew they were far from them and Kakashi won't be able to sense them.

He stopped and looked at Kakashi who was walking slightly behind but he knew he was just a clone while the real one was walking stealthily.

He informed the Kakashi's clone of two presences he felt far behind following them and both presences being of Jonin level.

Kakashi nodded his head and disappeared on the side of the road without anyone beside him knowing since Sakura was still trying to strike a conversation with Sasuke but he could see her sneakily look at him time to time.

Another clone of Kakashi came back after informing the original one and continued to act normal while gesturing him to do the same.

He nodded his head and relaxed walked since he had no one to fear. He just wanted to increase his value and make his skills be known to Kakashi little by little to make him acknowledge his strength.

Another day passed without any action but he knew they were near them and Kakashi has also already sensed them.

On the third day finally Zabuza attacked but Kakashi was quick to respond and blocked the blade going straight at Tazuna.

Sakura, Sasuke and Alex all surrounded Tazuna to protect him while Zabuza and Kakashi fought for a while before Zabuza finally retreated.

Kakashi then stared at Tazuna and ordered him to explain or else they will forfeit the mission.

Tazuna tear up and confessed of being targeted by gato and his men but he didn't have enough money to issue a high ranking mission so he asked for a bodyguard as a C ranked mission hoping to have a good escort.

They all accepted his explanation and decided to help the old man and escort him to his house at a c ranked mission price.

They then started to hasten their footsteps since forest was dangerous with a chance of ambush at anytime with two days of walk still to go.

That day also quickly passed with a small confrontation with Zabuza and them on high alert all the time.

They quickly walked the next day with Kakashi on the lookout for any ambush as the opponent was skilled and on par with him and he also had to worry about another person according to Alex but had yet to feel the presence. He decided to believe Alex on there being two jonin since he had felt the presence of Zabuza before him and knew Alex had high sensory talent.

When they reached a small lake, they felt someone in front of them. They quickly got battle ready to protect Tazuna from any attack.

"Kakashi of the Sharingan; I have been waiting for you." Zabuza proclaimed

"Oh, you recognize me one of the seven swordsmen from kiri" Kakashi asked

"You are very famous as copy ninja and strong jonin in kiri. Let's see if you are as capable as the rumors say" Zabuza said before attacking Kakashi.

Kakashi also moved the eye mask and activated the Sharingan. He went head to head with Zabuza for a while defecting, defending and attacking Zabuza at the same time.

They were on a stalemate until another Zabuza appeared and threw Kakashi on the lake nearby and placing him on a barrier cage stopping him for fighting.

Looking at the situation, Alex decided to intervene

"Sakura, Sasuke; look after senior Tazuna" he ordered as he moved at a fast pace towards Zabuza.

Zabuza's water clone came to finish him off but he quickly got rid of it like fighting a child.

Kakashi was shocked at the strength Alex was showing as it was a newly graduated genin finishing off an experienced jonin even if only a clone while Zabuza was amazed and started using A ranked jutsu water dragon.

Alex quickly casted a fire dragon jutsu he learned from Madara's experience. The power of fire dragon was higher than water dragon so it quickly overpowered water dragon and moved towards Zabuza.

With no choice left, Zabuza let go of the barrier freeing Kakashi and had a frustrated look since he felt like being cheated. He had stopped Kakashi but who knew a genin looking ninja from Konoha was strong enough to overpower even his A ranked jutsu.

Alex quickly got close to Zabuza and fought using close combat quickly overpowering him with his skills and knocking him out.

Kakashi was going to kill Zabuza when suddenly Haku pretending to be kiri anbu came

"Can you let me take him back to kiri? He as a missing nin from kiri will be punished according to kiri law" Haku requested

All this while Alex's charm was still in effect and Haku was also affected by it since he didn't prevent it instead increasing the intensity causing Haku to feel attracted to Alex as if soul bound and causing her to lose her breath.

Kakashi nodded his head as Haku then took Zabuza before taking a last look at Alex and walking away with a quick heartbeat and charmed face.

"Let's go" Kakashi said as they continued their journey again to the Tazuna's house.
