------Year x690, the end of the Second Trade War. The number of those injured and the death count where ten times higher than the first war. It was said that the reason behind this was wizard guild interventions.
With the war over, the Magic Council passes the Interguild Dispute Interdiction Treaty, forbidding all and every guild from waging wars against one or another, for whatever reason, marking a beginning of a short era of peace.
During that time, our friend Yuri Dreyar got married to his lover Rita with me as a bestman and Mavis as a bridesmaid. Everyone of us from the guild celebrated and congratulates them, wishing him and Rita happiness.
And six years later, x696.

I was riding on a motorcycle with Mavis as my back ride, holding onto me.

Arriving on our destination, I saw Zeref resting under the tree and waiting for us.
I stopped the motorcycle and get off as Mavis and I went towards him.
Mavis was still sulking at me.
Waving my hand at Zeref,
"Yoh, Zeref! It's been a long time!"
He still looks calm as ever but he's actually conflicted with his emotions because of his contradictory curse.
I was supposedly to be the only person he can talk normally without worry, now Mavis is same situation as him but less the Ankhseram Curse.
"Yeah, it's been a long time. My day is ruined again seeing that annoying face of yours." Zeref spoke.
"Hahaha! Don't be like that. I have something to offer for you today."
"Huh? What is it?"
Presenting Mavis beside me,
"Do you remember her?"
Zeref was confused seeing her appearance.
"Mavis?"
"Yeah, it's me, Mr. Black Wizard. Thank you for teaching us magic. It was such great to me and my friends." she slightly bowed at him.
"It's fine, I'm glad I was able to help." Zeref smiled at her.
"It's been 10 years since you met each other. Zeref, have you noticed something about her?" I asked.
Looking at Mavis, Zeref noticed something.
"Hmm... Now, I think about it... she haven't changed at all since then..."
"Ah... This body... yeah... It was the price I had to pay for using incomplete black magic 10 years ago. But I don't really regret it, after all, it saved Haru's daughter." Mavis explained.
"You used 'Law'!?"
Zeref was completely shock.
"Yeah, Haru asked me used it in order to save his daughter from being possession of Tenrou Jade."
"Mhm-mm." I nodded.
Zeref frowned at me,
"Haru, what have you done?! I'm aware that you already know what will happen if someone used an incomplete law!"
"Yeah, but don't worry, I channeled some of my life energy into her before she invokes the Law spell. With that, Contradictory Curse won't inflict her but still... she won't grow up and became immortal just like you."

"So... in other words, it's still all your fault."
I looked away,
"Yeah, I won't deny that. It's really an unfortunate event."
*Sigh*
Zeref sighed,
"Anyway... what are talking about when you said you have something to offer to me?"
I grinned, going behind Mavis and pushed her closely towards Zeref.

She walks away from us.

Looking down,
"Well... I actually have my own issues."
Showing my hands to Zeref,
"That's!"
He saw my hand turning transparent.
His eyes widened in surprise.
"I don't have enough time, Zeref. Soon enough, I'll disappeared and returned back to the future. I don't know what will happen after that."
Zeref smiled, turning his back to me as he walked away.
"I kind of understand you, but isn't better to spend your remaining time with the person you love? I don't completely know your whole situation but you have to chase after her and tell how you actually feel."
"Zeref..."
"You don't have to worry about me, Haru. Waiting that long until your timeline is not really that hard since we already lived longer than that. Also, my day will be pleasant for now knowing that I won't see you for a while."
"You!"
"Hahahaha!"
He laughed at me.
Turning around, I smiled chasing after Mavis.
"Thanks, bro." I mumbled.
I'm just actually afraid that future I know will be shifted in something unknown.
But now, I'm not afraid anymore about the changes.
More like, I don't care anymore!
"Mavis!"
I remember her smile when she's by my side.

Arriving on a flowery field, looking around.
I saw her sitting on a log staring the distance with a sad mood.
I went towards her and sits on her side.
She moved away from me.

I gently held her hand.
She was surprised from what I did and glanced at me.
