Chapter 2: Ryan’s POV

Can you imagine the pain that I'm feeling right now? I'm standing here, pinning down my crying girlfriend, while nurses yell at each other, trying to determine what to do next. All I can really do is hold her hand, look into her eyes, and wish I could trade places with her.

As I'm pinning her down with my left hand, I reach out with my right hand as she starts to kick her legs, and stroke her face, wiping cold tears from her cheeks.

I will up my abilities, and stare into her eyes, as I calm her with the memories of our childhood.

The memories flash as we relive the instance when she first pummeled me with ice chunks on the playground, back home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We watch as we relive the day when we had pretended to get married in her cousin, Eadelynn's, room. We even watched as I held onto Bia when we both held that reborn baby doll that she got for Christmas, as I whispered in her ear that I loved her more than life and afterlife combined. I know that CatRina is holding our little angel in her arms right now as she is crying.

The flashes end, and Bia closes her eyes. I walk over to Catty, and hold onto our baby girl. Today is January 14th, so she's still a newborn. I see the fear in my daughter's eyes for the first time in my life.
