Chapter 13: Bia’s POV

I look up, and see my baby. She's aged to be 10 years old already. Nevaeh's Magic has changed her. Instead of shoulder-length hair, now it's grown all the way down her back. She's beautiful.

"Mira? I'm here, babygirl. Get off the table."

She frowns. Her eyes glow orange.

"You promised you wouldn't let Nevaeh take me back. You lied. Now, she gets to be my mother. You missed out on your chance."

"Mira, this is not who you are… Please baby, come home."

"You don't care about me mommy.... It's been two years and you haven't even tried to rescue me."

"Baby, that's not true."

Tears burn in my eyes, and Ryan looks up at her.

"Mira, Daddy's here. Mommy's here. Just fight it. You can do this, baby girl. Just open your eyes… look at the mess you're helping that bitch create…"

Mira's expression begins to soften, and her orange eyes flash their soft blue color, but return to orange. I hold Nico's head in my lap, and look into Mira's eyes.

" I love you babygirl, I looked for you everywhere. Please listen to me… listen to us… we love you."

Ryan puts his arms out to catch Mira, and says to her:

"Daddy's here, babygirl… Come on… let's go."

Finally, her eyes go back to their blue color. She jumps into Ryan's arms, and he holds her tightly. Nico opens his eyes, and Mira hugs us in a group hug. I kiss both of them on the top of their heads.

"You'll never walk alone, ever again."
