2 Immortal fetus
The sky extends to the horizons.
The sun illuminates the sky and the shimmering clouds.
Forests cover the vast and endless ground while the tree branches and leaves sway with the wind.
The air is fresh and soft while the clouds are ethereal.
All kinds of beautiful and intricate living beings live in harmony with one another in the immortal lands.
Some spread their wings and soar in the vast sky, some dive into the depths of the blue sea while some run freely on the green plains.
Living beings of all sizes relentlessly pursue freedom under the boundless sky.
The limitless earth and the endless heaven offered a graceful contrast that shined like a shimmering mirage.
The world looked like a heaven, vast skies, endless green plains, scorching deserts, dark abysses, icy plains with giant glaciers, giant trees that almost reached the sky, beings ranging from the size of insects to the size of mountains.
An endless unimaginable world existed and thrived on it's own.
In a small corner of this world, white clouds extended and filled the sky.
Suddenly, a small point appeared in the sky, it moved through the clouds like a moving star.
It was a man that was flying without wings through the sky with extremely high speed.
His face was solemn, on his back was a giant injury that stretched from his shoulder to his lower back.
Inside the flesh of the injury were twinkling yellow light fragments.
"Fuck! I was found! I have to hurry up and activate Heavenly demon's formation if I want to survive now!"
He sped up even more, he was moving at such high speed that he felt as if was moving through a world of whiteness.
"Fuck! to think Hand of justice would just coincidentally attack me when I was in closed cultivaton, these yellow fragments cannot be healed! I will have to change bodies."
He flew for tens of kilometers in a few minutes while thinking at an even higher speed.
"Thankfully, the formation left by Heavenly demon has already been modified, I should be able to acquire a hybrid body if I succeed. the only problem is..."
As he looked back, his vision pierced through tens of kilometers and landed on the figure chasing him.
It was a young woman wearing a yellow golden robe with brilliant yellow eyes moving at an even higher speed, she looked breathtaking yet it only inspired profound fear in him.
"Fuck! I have to use my secret art, otherwise I will be captured!"
As soon as he said that, blue electric waves spread around his body and he picked up insane speed, almost ten times his previous speed!
An hour passed before he quickly arrived at a gigantic forest with giant trees.
Looking from afar, the trees looked as tall as mountains.
It was as if he had stepped foot in a heavenly world, just the width of one of these tree's branches were enough for ten people to walk side by side.
He descended to the ground right outside the forest and put his hands on the ground as powerful electric waves spread from his hands towards the ground.
The moment he did that, a giant formation encompassing hundreds of thousands of kilometers activated and lighted with blue light!
This huge forest wasn't just a forest, it had very rare divine trees that were powerful, unique and housed countless living beings.
The moment this formation was activated however all trees had been subdued or atleast made harmless.
The formation began to absorb energy from the ground and the divine trees and lighted up a giant formation.
Blue lines spread and drew intricate symbols that contained a unique profoundness, the formation had multiple cores, all were subdued and used, the first steps of the formation had ended.
"Good! next step!"
Blue light floated and lighted the entire forest before the formation began to absorb energy from the Heavens : Heaven Qi and energy from the Earth : Earth Qi.
Both energy came together and began to rotate around each other like a yin yang symbol as giant whirlpools of energy spread.
In the midst of it all, giant black clouds began to fill the sky as lightning began to fill the clouds.
They accumulated before attacking the formation however the demonic cultivator was prepared for it.
The moment the tribulation hit, the Lightning was absorbed by the formation even speeding it up in the process.
"Hahaha this is what cultivation is for! I told you Master, Lightning path is superior!"
The cultivator couldn't help but laugh before suddenly feeling a mental tremor!
"Fuck! she catched up to me. but how? I even used my secret art!"
He turned his head around only for a yellow beam of light to enter his eyes.
"Ahhhh!"
The cultivator couldn't help but hold his head in pain and let go of fully controlling the formation for a moment.
"Damn it! the sea of consciousness has always been my weakness!"
He gave up some of his control of the formation to launch himself towards her.
Blue lightning gathered in his hand as he launched waves of lightning at her.
The two cultivators fought in the sky, golden energy and blue energy filled the sky while the tribulation ended to stop fueling the formation.
However even with that, the formation was nearly fully completed and the demonic cultivator was overpowering his opponent.
He was using his full power, he was going to obtain a new body after all. This was no time to hold back.
But suddenly, he felt the power of the formation weaken as well as slowly losing control over it.
"Fuck! someone is absorbing the energy of the formation!"
He immediately turned and sent huge waves of lightning, as well as commending the formation to attack the perpetrator with intense might.
He wasn't careless though and immediately went back to fight the female cultivator, but he only felt the absorption slow down, it didn't stop.
The fight only kept getting more intense while the formation kept slowly weakening.
"Fuck! at this rate I won't be able to get the immortal fetus, even if I add my own cultivation to it, I will still become weaker!"
The yellow sparks in his back had already deeply seeped themselves in his body, there was already no way to heal them.
He resolutely attacked recklessly towards the center of the forest sending lightning waves that were further enhanced by the giant formation.
Finally, the absorption stopped. The perpetrator couldn't defend itself anymore especially after the might of the attacks of the formation.
It couldn't stop nor control the formation so it decided to use all its power to strip the control of the formation from his hands.
Only a few breaths passed before the demonic cultivator's face went pale, he lost control of the formation!
He couldn't help but turn his head towards the forest before his eyes penetrated through the trees towards a very inconspicuous tree.
The tree was a giant purple willow tree that was 120 meters tall but compared to the other trees, it was shorter.
"Don't tell me..."
"But..."
In that moment of carelesness, a yellow beam was sent from Hand of justice's eyes towards his sea of consciousness.
"Ahhh!"
The demonic cultivator had to focus on his sea of consciousness and heal the cracks on its surface for a few moments.
In those moments however, her hand was enveloped by a sharp yellow energy before she teleported and stabbed his chest.
The demonic cultivator was dead!
Hand of justice stored his corpse in her spacial ring.
She took a moment to rest before her eyes penetrated tens of thousands of kilometers through the forest and its trees before locking on an inconspicuous giant purple willow tree.
Her eyes were filled with interest.
She moved her attention towards the the formation and the whirpools of energy moving and absorbing energy like blackholes.
"The energy should dissipate in a few hours but it will do so in the forest."
She squinted her eyes and thought for a moment before sighing.
Before turning to leave however, she received a mental transmission.
"Hand of justice, we need your help. we have found the nest of the demonic sect."
Without response, she turned back and left.
In the middle of the forest, a gigantic purple willow tree could be observed, its branches and willows were purple. It looked ancient, ethereal and magical.
From a far, it looked like a scene from an immortal land, its roots alone were a few tens of meters tall and it gave its surroundings the appearence of a purple world.
To a human it may look like gigantic but in the forest, this tree was inconspicuous. aside from its purple colour, it length was shorter than the other massive trees.
This divine tree however seemed injured, it had broken roots all over yet purple like filaments spread from its roots trying to reattach the broken roots. it seemed the tree was healing itself.
The place turned calm and even the whirpools of energy started to reduce in size.
Everything was going back to normal or so it seemed.
The whirlpools moved randomly for a few hours but just before they were about to dissipate, they turned into a formless force and gathered around from all over the forest, moving through the trees and all living beings.
The whirlpools moved chaotically before Heaven Qi and Earth Qi gathered.
An almost torrential wind rose and enveloped everything in that area before merging everything into the form of a giant ball.
Heaven Qi gathered above it while Earth Qi enveloped it from below.
First, the ball was white light, then it turned from pale transparent light to pure white light, and finally to thick milky white light.
Next, there was a hint of red inside the white light. The red quickly spread, turning the light into pale pink, before it turned pinkish red, and finally, bright red like blood.
The ball rotated and a small pinkish worm formed inside the red ball.
The pinkish worm began to grow till it reached the size of a basin.
It was a fetus!
The pink worm inside began to form into the appearence of a human baby.
Inside the red colored light, immortal fetus twitched continuously, a fetus was shining brightly in pink red light, it could vaguely be seen.
Life force was gathering, it was growing and becoming stronger.
White fog started to surround it.
Heaven and Earth qi merged into a yin yang symbol while enveloping it.
Many changes occurred, they were unimaginable.
On the surface, they looked random and abrupt, but if one observed carefully, they seemed to contain the profoundness of heaven and earth.
Eventually, after countless changes, the fetus inside turned into its largest and a baby was formed stretching its four limbs!
At once the ball finally stabilised, the ball that surrounded him cracked and the baby was born!
This baby had a lively expression and closed eyes. He had pale and fair skin, his limbs were chubby, his face was rosy, cute and delicate, immortal aura was oozing from him.
Yet at this moment, giant black clouds gathered and lightning striked from the sky!
This immortal aura immediately went instable and some of its energy rushed to stop the powerful strike.
The strike was effortlessly stopped but the strikes continued to happen.
The immortal energy fluctuated madly while resisting the thunderstrikes before the clouds finally dissipated.
If anyone was here, they would be shocked that the Heavens seemed so mad that it even attacked a newborn baby!
The baby went from a rank 6 immortal body to a rank 5, then from rank 5 to rank 4 peak, then from rank 4 peak to rank 4 before finally stabilising at the peak of rank 3 because of the relentless strikes.
The formless force that had surrounded the fetus before, now surrounded his entire body, it protected him from damage, he was safe and sound.
The baby gradually landed on the ground.
During this process, he grew rapidly.
From the moment he was born till he was two to three years old, only a breath of time had passed.
Four, five, six, seven, eleven, twelve years old… when his legs landed on the ground, he was already sixteen years old.
His skin was still white, but it was not pale white, it was a white that was clean and simple.
His long hair was black and shiny, extending to his waist.
His body was slightly thin with well toned muscles, there was no excess flesh on his body.
His feet landed on the ground and his eyes opened to behold the world.
