11 Tower 2

|||There were two entries to the tower. First was the window, where you need to climb to reach it. The second one was the doorway at the bottom. But it can only be opened and accessed by the sorceress.

"Can we talk sister Evelyn Gladis, or should I say Ms. Gothel."

Rey and his troupe went to the infamous cathedral in the city. The said cathedral became a house for many people after the Monster Hunt.

From what Rey and his group observe outside, hundreds of bodies were lined up as they were covered wholly by clothes, so their grotesque sights will not be seen. Aside from that, there were more than still coming and placed here by either the authorities, the relatives, or some volunteers.

These people were the unfortunate ones who were killed by the goblins or didn't finish the mission. If you want to know how they died, their heads just exploded literally out of nowhere as soon as the beginner's quest time ended.

There were priests and nuns praying for them one by one as they sprinkle holy water to those lifeless bodies. Many people were crying and mourning around for their loss while some are just staring in the thin air, as you can see, they are still alive yet their eyes are already lifeless.

Though, some may easily adapt to this sudden kind of situation. But those who live mostly in the thing we called a real reality of this world will be the ones who will be left behind or not survive easily. And most of these said people were already lying here as cold lifeless corpses.

Back to Rey, inside the medium-sized main office, he was currently facing one of the said nuns in the cathedral. The nun simply laughed as she heard Rey's words. She was wearing an all-white long habit* along with a headdress covering her whole head.

"You are a very rude young man. Do I look like much of a witch to compare me to her? If I remember right, Gothel is the witch that abducted Rapunzel and locks her in the tower right? Though that is indeed such a nice classic fairy tale, I don't really have much time to talk about that right now. Many people are in need of help and guidance today so if you may excuse me..." The nun turned her back to continue her duties.

"I know your lying. You're Ms. Gothel.

The nun didn't stop with Rey's words of provocation as she holds the doorknob and began to open the door.

But Rey still had a card up in his sleeves.

"If you don't help us. Rapunzel will surely die this time."

With these words, the nun whom Rey called Gothel, stopped her footsteps.

"Young man. Speaking about a person's death is not a joke. If you talk about it like that, it is like you are cursing him/her to really die."

"That's because she will really die.'"

"How can you be so sure about that?" The nun's eyes squirmed with Rey's words.

"So you admit now that you're Ms. Gothel"

All the people here were not worried that they didn't get to the tower on time. Since there was a certain someone who paid all the people's penalty here.

She put it in the pretext of a 'miracle' and let the church handled all the coins that suddenly appeared out of nowhere and distribute them to the people here. All the people here got exactly 200 gold coins each!.

"You see we don't have much time, do we? So would you be as kind and gallant as when you donate lots of coins here to cooperate with us?" Ray said smiling.

"Even the coin miracle, you have knowledge of it. It seems I can't hide anything from you young man. So how will my uncanny daughter die?"

"That, I can't tell you. But I know it because I have a precognition ability. I humbly asked you to trust my words." Rey said with sincerity this time.

The nun or Gothel looked at Rey's clear black eyes. It seemed he was telling the truth. But if he's not, she could just simply make him disappear in this world. Though she doesn't really want to do that. Then on the other side, if his words are true then that daughter of mine would be really in danger and died.

After thinking for more time. The nun made her decision.

"I'll cooperate with you this once, if I found out your lying, you probably know what I am capable of doing."

"Thank you for accepting my deal. Ms. Gothel. I will not certainly break your trust." Rey held his hand for a handshake.

"Gothel huh? just call me Ms. Evelyn. That name is just history now." Evelyn accepted Rey's handshake.

"If that's what you want Ms. Evelyn."

And so they make their preparations. Then the very next early morning they proceed to the tower's location. -J.O.E |||

I put back my phone in the magic pouch. There were two entryways to the tower. When Argaux will wake up, he will enter through the window. Rey like you have guessed, would enter the secret doorway through the help of Gothel or her name is Evelyn now.

But for me, If my hypothesis is right, there should be a different third passageway.

||| "I thought you are with your grandmother?!"

"Why are you here in Manila?! I'm glad you're both okay. Let's go now together." Jess said her first words when she met her children at the end of the third quest. She tried holding them but Rey created a barrier enough for her sister and him.

"What are you doing?" Jess asked in surprise as she stumbled on some kind of invisible wall before she could touch her daughter.

"Mom. We called and message you so many times but you never answered." Rea said

"We wait and wait for you. And you never came." Rio added,

"People hunt us like we are bad people just because we have goblins with us. But we never do anything wrong and even try to help." Rea's eyes were now teary.

"But as we run and hide, she came and help us. She sided with us, never hurt us, and brought us to a safe place. She helps us to become strong now and able to protect ourselves without you." Rea added.

"I'm sorry mom but we made a promise to help her. We can't go with you." As Rio said that, leaves started surrounding them as they completely disappeared.

"Rio! Rea!" Jess shouted as the only thing she grabs was some fallen leaves from the place where her children are standing. -J.O.E|||

If my guess was right? That "she" woman the children were talking about is "her" due to the leaves. And since the children said that they were being hunted, it means they met "her" before the tower sprouts. Without the tower, there's no way the children could enter "her" place. So there is a probability that a third entry exists that was completely different from that tower.

"Hey, where are we going?"

Arghh! I forgot I'm with someone who forcefully tags along with me. This girl is unbelievably annoying. If you guess who was it then congratulations you absolutely win nothing (¬_¬)ﾉ.

It was Frea Beverly. A while ago, before I can actually step in the carpet, she dashed like wind and immediately jump in as soon as I let out the flying magic carpet.

Dina also came running with her and wanted to ride but I manage to stop her since she was much slower than Frea. Well, Paul very obediently adhered to my words. He seemed really hated the idea of riding the carpet.

I just kept ignoring Frea.

"Wherever we are going, if we put the flying magic carpet into its max speed like earlier we would be able to reach your destination extremely and super duper fast! With a Fwoosh!" She said as she raised both her hands.

"If you have so many qualms now, then I can just let you leave or drop you anywhere as long as it's not here."

I just found out when I ride here that it has a freaking speed control! That's why I set it to a normal speed of 20 km per hour. Too slow? I don't care. Though I have a little fear of heights, it was much frightening if it matched with an abnormal speed of 500 km/hr. earlier. It's just pure suicidal! And I'm not a masochist. One should truly learn to read the manual of anything first.

This pace was exactly what I can manage, safe and steady.

Frea pouted with my words which I just ignored again.

Even with this pace, we'll arrive at the destination soon. So I still have a lot of time.

"Seriously, where are we going?" Frea sat beside me.

"To the underground sewage." I finally answered as I took a look at the mini-map. My ears are already starting to bleed by her nonstop questioning and chattering.

Before she can open her mouth again to my answer I cut her off.

"We're here."

The flying magic carpet lowered down to the ground.

I jumped off the carpet and land with my two feet.

Frea also did the same.

Now, we were currently standing in front of the sewage entrance. It was a huge tunnel blocked with metal bars. It was on the outskirts of the city near the seawall of Manila bay. I didn't need to take a look at the seawall to see the roaring waves of the sea as it hit the wall violently and some saltwater splashed on us.

"How do we get in?" My attention came back to the tunnel as Frea asked. She tried to squeeze herself inside the bars.

"Fatso. Move out the way. Or you'll get blown with it"

After I said those words, I immediately threw an item called fairy BamBam on the bars without any hesitation.

Frea managed to jump off on the side as I immediately hide behind a rock.

*Boom!*

As soon as it collided with the bars, it exploded tremendously.

The explosion blast, instead of dark smoke and fire, rainbow color lights came out from it as it continued to explode. Even its smoke was bright and colorful. It's like different fireworks displays were being fired out near me.

*Boom!*

*Bam!*

*Bam!*

It will blow anything with a wonderful light show. Just remove the safety pin and immediately throw it or else you'll also explode FABULOUSLY too. We don't want that so keep safe all the time.

Warning: Although it has a wonderful explosion(Yes, I'll never stop calling it wonderful since I'm proud of my work!), This item is not suitable for youngsters! Strict parental monitoring is needed. Oh, if you are a sane person I don't need to tell you to keep it out from insane ones or you don't want to suddenly explode or a mass massacre to happen, right? But if your an insane one then good luck to the world!
