Quest of the Tower End

The NPCs that are trapped on the events one by one glowed as their faces become clear. They are no longer the NPCs who are emotionless and puppets that are just doing what the events wanted them to do.

From the high tower of the castle, Albert stand at the top as the soul orb he is holding was now shattered and its dust was flowing out with the wind. As he looks below, he saw how the giants destroyed his kingdom. Ah. No. His kingdom was destroyed a long time ago. This is just a replica, an illusion like what that man said.

The girl's words flash in his mind. (///"It's not your fault."///)

'How truly strange, there are so many interesting things in this world. It's been so long that someone causes so much trouble to me like this since the time with that man who caused this scar. And that girl it seems she might be still alive since I didn't feel any souls that had been added to this kingdom.' Albert thought.

'This world is truly fascinating and mysterious.'

The NPC's started to become transparent and one by one they vanished to the event. Albert watched them. He also heard all the people's voice words towards him.

"Thank you, my king."

Albert doesn't know what kind of emotions he would feel. He was never a good king to his kingdom.

He lost to the war.

He lost his family.

And even caused his people so many sufferings for trapping them here.

He just closed his eyes as his body also started to be covered by light. A warp appeared behind him.

"Fools. I never deserve any of your gratitude."

"After so many years that passed, I'm going to meet you again my wife." Albert's last thoughts.

Then he finally got absorbed by the void.

Everything started to warp as multiple voids appeared behind the giants. They were absorbed and forcefully sent back to their realm. As for the kingdom of ruins, after a moment of time, it became an empty dark space.

The tower started to shook as one of the events that where the source of its power vanished. Rapunzel also felt this as one-fourth of her power is gone. But that doesn't enough to stop her from killing these low lives who interrupted her with her children.

Green spiky vines emerged from both of her hands.

"You all dare to come here!" She said.

"It's her the vine lady!" Frea shouted in surprise.

"Wow! She's pretty! Frea take out your phone!"

"Why?" Frea asked confused at Dina's words.

"I will take a photo of her. I'll add her to my collections of beautiful people to paint."

"Oh. That's a nice idea."

"Guys I don't think we have the time for that. Look." Paul finally goes to their side.

And he is right they had no time for nonsense now, as they look around they were all back in the white room.

[The Quest Master Rapunzel has created a dimensional white space. You would only be able to escape after defeating the quest master.]

"This doesn't look good," Paul said worriedly.

"What are you worried about, we have the advantage in numbers and she is only one," Dina said while patting Paul's back.

'Yep. That's right, you are many. But Rapunzel is much stronger with all of you combined. Well, I guess Argaux has a chance and also the sorcerer. But I couldn't see her right now here.' Via thought then she looks back at her system.

'There are still twenty-eight minutes left. Though I can't really do anything since I'm also just some weak person too.' Via thought but actually rather than fighting she really just wanted to watch everything for now.

*Boogsh!*

And as expected Argaux is the first one to attack. "Imbeciles!" Rapunzel screamed as she jumps up to avoid Argaux sword then she released her vines to him.

*Swoosh*

Argaux just slashes everything that is heading on him. But he didn't notice the other vines behind him that suddenly come from the underground.

Rey stepped in and cut the vines that are aiming behind Argaux.

Argaux just looks at him then proceeds to attack again.

Now, both of them are alternating slashing their swords at Rapunzel.

But it seems the vines of Rapunzel are getting harder to break since Argaux and Rey had only cut lesser this time.

'Welp! That's why I said Rapunzel is not an easy opponent. I feel like I became some announcer here.' Via thought.

Soon the rest of Rey's group also joined the fight.

Jessica fired off her gun. And to tell you this, don't worry it's a magical gun now bought in the system.

The Railgun. It is definitely a high-end weapon that could inflict a lot of damage. And it also increases its strength along with the user's level.

Celene's ability is super speed. She dashes right and left and with her iron knuckles, she hit every vine. But it seems they are having difficulty in reaching Rapunzel.

Paul also joined as he slashed his sword. Dina, Frea, and Louisa just watched the scene since they are more of a support type.

"Is that all you've got insects?!" Rapunzel said as she laughs.

'Oh my, like husband like wife' Via thought then she shivered when she remembered how she almost died to Albert.

"I'm going to end this now," Rapunzel said, she seems getting impatient now.

[Rapunzel was now releasing <Death Valley Vines>] The system pop out in front of Via.

Oh no. This is not good. If you are curious, Death Valley is something with multiple Vines emerging underground. What makes them deadly is they have sharp spikes and poison that caused paralyzation to whoever got hit by it.

Rey knows this and shouted.

"When will you plan to help?!" He shouted at a certain someone.

After he said that, thousands of vines erupted underneath. Rey flew with the broomstick same as the others. The Lizard prince immediately brought out the carpet and Frea, Paul and Dina jumped on it real quick.

Argaux just floats in the air with his float ability.

But the vines are growing all over the space. And it is only a matter of time before everything will be covered.

'Thank goodness, I am in my Astral form.' Via said as the vines just passed through her.

The whole group was now in the center of the space. It is only a matter of time before they got inflicted.

"It's no used, there are so many of them. I can't cut them all off." Paul shouted.

But then he didn't notice an incoming vine and got hit by it. He immediately slumps down on the carpet.

"Paul!" Both Frea and Dina shouted. The Lizard Prince just looks at them as he slashes the incoming vines with his claws.

"So you finally decided to interfere, mother." Rapunzel's voice resounded.

They were surprised when they heard Rapunzel speak.

The vines seem started to dwindle as multiple balls of fire appeared and started burning them. But it still didn't stop the vines from growing.

"It's good to see you again my daughter. And you seem to change a lot." Evelyn said as she appeared through a black void. Her whole body is surrounded by fire. So all the vines that come in her way just got burned.

"Let's end this now. My daughter." Evelyn said with a sad tone in her voice.
