Chapter - 2: Adaptability a skill trash?

------------

[Ding]

[Successful reincarnation]

[Blessing of the goddesses successfully obtained]

[Blessing Skill: "Adaptability" successfully received]

"Oooh!"

"The summoning was successful!"

My vision is flooded with light, and a deafening noise fills my ears. I instinctively cover my ears, realizing that my senses have significantly heightened compared to before.

I find myself in a vast chamber with marble flooring, towering pillars supporting the dome-shaped ceiling, and a raised platform in the center with a familiar summoning circle akin to ones I've seen in anime.

Soon, I notice several old people surrounding me, all dressed in white robes and wielding staffs, except for one who stands out from the rest.

"Please wait for a moment, person from another world," a female voice resonates, causing me to freeze as I turn towards the source of the sound.

Approaching me is a priestess dressed in regal attire, exuding an imposing presence that immediately captures my attention, and I can think of two significant reasons in my mind...

She wore a daringly erotic robe that boldly pushed the boundaries of the modesty I was accustomed to, playfully revealing the alluring curves of her body, particularly highlighting her generously endowed breasts.

Her figure exudes sensuality to such an extent that I found it difficult to maintain steady eye contact. The tiny black robe, more of an ornamental whisper than actual coverage, left little to the imagination.

Her luxuriously silver hair cascaded down her back like molten moonlight, adding an almost ethereal quality to her presence. The fabric framed her ample breasts, accentuating her seductive, curvaceous form.

My gaze traveled down to her long, pale legs, which were scarcely covered, leaving little to the imagination. She possessed long, shapely legs, large and prosperous breasts, and, of course, a curvaceous posterior that was prominently displayed in this daring ensemble.

From the moment I laid eyes on her, I couldn't deny her undeniable sensuality. However, I had to exercise a great deal of self-control to avoid openly staring at her, even though I couldn't help but feel a strong desire to see her reaction when my hands would grab her huge tits and she would beg me to be rougher on her.

"I'm terribly sorry to have summoned you here so abruptly..." she began, her voice laced with a mixture of apology and unease, "I am the head priest here, my name is Zayd." she introduced herself, with a beautiful smile adorning her face, even though, for some reason, it made me uncomfortable.

[Picture ---> Zayd]

Had I really ended up in some kind of hentai? It seemed that my situation was stranger than I initially thought, but seeing the spectacle before me, I really couldn't complain.

"First, I'd like to know your name," she inquired calmly, her gaze fixed upon me, hiding a hint of malevolence. For some reason, it didn't really give me a good feeling. I couldn't help but think the reason was my "Sense Danger" that was warning me of the danger she posed.

After all, no matter how helpless and weak she might seem, in several games, the high-level spells of the priests could be really very dangerous, not even counting the curses that could only be resolved after death.

However, I paused, thinking of as many names as you could before choosing one. My mind raced, contemplating the implications of giving away my true name to a stranger in such a fantasy setting.

Above all, due to the fact that there could be some skills that could affect my real name, that's why one had to act shrewdly in this foreign environment.

"Sure... I'm Hanma Yuuto," I said after a moment of hesitation, unceremoniously discarding my old name and surname, to fully accept the situation I was currently in.

"I see," I could only mutter, my confusion about the situation evident. I had no information about this world, and I was uncertain about how to act in these circumstances, feeling like a lost traveler in a foreign land, clueless about the rules and customs.

"Appraisers! Check his skill!" She hollered, directing the other priests to take action. They hurried to obey, their expressions betraying their fear of offending the woman standing before me, clearlywho clearly held considerable influence in this place..

"Skill check?" I inquired, seeking a better understanding of the mechanics of this new world, hoping to leverage this knowledge to my advantage.

Zayd's face twisted with a hint of condescension. "Yes, when you arrived in this world, you were blessed with the 'Goddess's Blessing,'" she said, her tone somewhat smug, as if she deserved credit for my sudden appearance here. "We need to identify its type." With her explanation, things started to come into focus.

"What's this?" a few priests exclaimed, their attention drawn to the holographic screen displaying an image of me alongside a string of letters. Thanks to the advantage I had acquired earlier, I found myself capable of deciphering the information, but to my chagrin, it appeared that I possessed no initial skill.

"What's the issue?" Zayd inquired urgently, his concern for my well-being in this strange world appearing somewhat secondary, prompting me to exercise caution and refrain from impulsive actions.

One of the priests nervously stepped forward, his expression marked by discomfort, and sweat beads trickled down his forehead, a clear sign of his anxiety. "There are... skills, but there are, umh..." He hesitated for a few moments, struggling to find the right words.

"No initial skills..." he finally managed to say after catching his breath.

"And the blessing skill is... 'Adaptability'!" He declared loudly, causing the entire room to fall into an eerie silence, not even a faint buzz could be heard.

Yes, the skill I had received upon arriving in this world through the goddess's blessing was 'Adaptability,' a fact I didn't mind at all, considering how incredibly overpowered it could be in the hands of those who knew how to use it.

Typically, users of this skill had the incredible ability to adapt to any situation and evolve rapidly, automatically acquiring the necessary attributes to deal with the surrounding environment.

This greatest advantage, especially in combat, lay in their ability to adapt to resist enemy skills, replicate and enhance them, or spontaneously devise effective countermeasures.

They could dynamically analyze and understand everything thrown at them, quickly deducing the best course of action for their immediate evolution.

With these capabilities, I could potentially outmatch (almost) any opponent, adapting to whatever I needed to endure and, even in the face of failure, learning and adapting to turn those failures into success.

Given sufficient time and through intricate evolution and instantaneous adjustments, I had the boundless potential to manifest various supernatural powers and abilities, tailoring them to the situations I encountered to conquer any challenge.

It was undeniably one of the most formidable abilities in the world of animation. Just consider the likes of Doomsday, or even Garou in his mightiest form, the "Cosmic Fear Mode."

And, of course, one couldn't overlook Saitama, who had succeeded in shattering his "limiter." This achievement had granted him virtually limitless growth of his own potential, a testament to the truly terrifying nature of this ability's potential.

"Haa..." Zayd let out an audibly irritated sigh. "I can't believe we managed to gather all one thousand jewels at the very last minute."

"To summon someone like this," she added, her contempt thinly veiled behind a mask that didn't quite conceal her obvious observation of my figure.

It appeared that the others didn't share my sentiment. The various priests seemed hesitant to voice their opinions in this situation.

"You fuckers!" Zayd shouted, her face contorting into a madness that she could no longer contain, revealing her true nature. "Did you really follow the same procedure as always?"

"B-But the odds were the same either way..."

"That's mere superstition, Zayd-Sama."

The priests attempted to conjure various excuses in an attempt to extricate themselves from the situation, but their words only seemed to infuriate her further. I couldn't help but wear a small, amused smile as I watched the spectacle unfold before me.

"Shut up!" she commanded, seizing their heads firmly while flashing a wicked grin. "All of you need to be quiet and do as I say!" The priests didn't even attempt to offer a contrary word.

"Could someone please clarify the situation for me?" I interjected, unable to contain my growing irritation, and my only solace came from discreetly admiring the erotic form of the priestess.

"Aaah... Hey," Zayd acknowledged my presence. "And for heaven's sake, get him out of here already."

They nodded, and to my surprise, they handcuffed my wrists. The priests then started to haul me out with apparent difficulty etched on their faces.

"The last 1000 stones after all left us with a human being with no initial skill. This blessing is a very rare thash skill. So he's obviously bound to become a sword-fighting slave. Take him to the coliseum, where the other scum is!"

 [Interlude]

"Here we are!" He said, the guard was dressed practically like a gladiator, as he dragged me forcefully into a cell. With a loud clang, the heavy metal door slammed shut, and I heard the distinct sound of the lock closed.

The prison cell is surprisingly spacious and impeccably clean. The walls are painted in a neutral shade, the floor is polished to a shine, reflecting the faint light that filters in through a narrow window high above, illuminating the room with a gentle, muted glow.

The guard, though visibly fatigued with sweat glistening on his forehead, didn't seem too concerned about my predicament. "You should train more, if you lack stamina, it means you cannot satisfy any woman at this rate..." I couldn't help but mutter with a small smile on my face.

In such a situation, the best thing one could do was to look for good information. And usually, you could get it pretty easily by provoking some random mob. Since this world seemed to focus on sexual things, it was the best provocation I could think of.

"And then explain to me why the heck are you so heavy?!" It seemed that my remark had affected his pride as he gave a sinister smile. "Besides, I certainly don't want to hear such words from a scum like you!"

My body had been enhanced by the Hanma bloodline, and as a result, my whole body had undergone an extraordinary metamorphosis. But in order not to become a muscular giant, every muscle within my body had been condensed, and as a result, my weight had also increased.

"Scum? You're the ones who summoned me and then tossed me in here without even bothering to explain why," I retorted, dripping with sarcasm.

The guard nonchalantly shrugged, sporting a dismissive grin. "Well, you possess no innate abilities, and your 'Adaptability' skill is rather feeble. These simple reasons have incurred Zayd-Sama's wrath," he explained in an arrogant tone, seemingly attempting to belittle me.

"In this country, skills are all that matter. That's why you're nothing more than entertainment for us," he clarified with a casual shrug. "Goodbye."

"Thanks for the enlightening insight. Oh, and don't forget to train; otherwise, even the companions you purchase won't be satisfied with you," I playfully reminded, flashing a sly smile, clearly teasing him.

The guard grunted but offered no retort as he departed. It seemed there was a rule preventing him from using force against the participants, possibly to keep us in the best condition for their own purposes.

I had to admit, emerging from that abyss only to find myself in a prison was not what I had in mind. I was growing increasingly frustrated with this situation, particularly especially with that cow-chested bitch.

I couldn't help but think I wanted to see her on her knees before my feet as she completely submitted to me and worshiped my cock like the whore she was.

I couldn't resist scratching my head as I examined the strands of my hair, now a striking shade of red. It finally dawned on me just how much my body had transformed after inheriting the Hanma bloodline.

"Hahaha." A female laugh pulled me from my thoughts, and I turned to see the source. "I have to admit, it's the first time I've witnessed someone with such guts respond like that to a guard fresh from the Coliseum."

In one corner of the cell, a petite girl stood out amid the gloomy surroundings. She boasted a cascade of soft, sun-kissed blond hair that gracefully framed her innocent face. But it was her eyes that stole the show – they resembled orbs of molten gold, sparkling with mischief and curiosity.

Her attire was charming yet unconventional. She wore a brown coat draped stylishly around her neck, giving her a slightly vintage and extravagant air. Beneath the coat, she sported an immaculate white blouse with a delicate scarf adorning her neck.

A bright red skirt graced her lower half, though it was notably shorter than one might expect. The vibrant fabric swayed with her every movement, and a hint of black panties playfully peeked out, adding to the mischievous allure of her outfit.

Her petite legs were wrapped in bandages, hinting at a history of adventures. To complete her unique ensemble, she sported a pair of elegant black boots, a stark contrast to her attire, as if she were dressed to fight.

"Well, I suppose I'm just wired a bit differently from most of the folks in this place," I responded, a broad smile gracing my face.

"You're quite amusing. I've been so bored here all by myself..."

"Who are you?" I inquired, though my gaze seemed to be fixated on panties that hugged her ass

"Much like you, I'm a sword-fighting slave. We're in the same boat," she explained, her face lighting up with a bright smile. "I'm Zulu. Nice to meet you."

[Picture ---> Zulu]

"I kind of messed around a little bit and got myself in a bit a trouble"

"Judging by your appearance, it seems like you're completely new to this place. How about I fill you in on what's going on here?"

Considering my current predicament, I couldn't help but listen attentively to her words, though I wasn't naïve enough to believe it would be all that straightforward.

"Sure, I'd like to learn more, but as you can see, I have nothing to offer in return..." I pointed out, emphasizing the handcuffs currently adorning my wrists.

"Heh," the girl flashed an intrigued expression, "That's a clever response. You don't seem entirely foolish." I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, although my 'Sense Danger' wasn't picking up any immediate threats. I didn't want to tip my trump cards.

"That's a good answer. It appears you're not that gullible, are you?" She continued, "Plus, I liked how you handled that guard."

"It all seems a bit too simple..."

I couldn't help but voice my skepticism. The second person I had encountered in this world was offering information without any apparent exchange on my part, at least for the moment.

"Alright then, consider it a gift."

"...Is that really okay?"

"It's fine. This story serves my purpose as well," she reassured. "After all, you wanted to know, didn't you? So, now's the time to listen closely. Let's start with why you've been summoned to this world."

"This is a religious country called Bumbledol. They've been entangled in a long-standing conflict with their neighboring nation, Dumbledol, and their manpower is running thin. Hence, they 'summon' warriors from other worlds to bolster their ranks," she explained, her mocking tone suggesting she was well-versed in the backstory.

"People who get summoned from different worlds receive blessings through the 'Blessing of the Deee,' but it's a random draw. If you happen to possess a skill in which you excel, you'll receive preferential treatment, and they'll practically beg you to enlist as a soldier."

"With a skill as seemingly useless as yours, the big shots won't bat an eye. After all, the summoning process costs a hefty '1000 mana stones each!"

"That's why that bitch was so livid with me," I mumbled as the puzzle pieces started falling into place.

"Exactly. That's why folks like you end up as a spectacle in the coliseum. It's a means for the aristocrats and even the wealthy to entertain themselves and bridge the gap with the common folk through these summoned participants," she elucidated, ending with a subdued laugh.

"Kukuku, quite amusing, isn't it?"

"Not really," I conceded with a sigh. "Essentially, this country is attempting to discover the best and most exceptional individuals through a 'Gacha' system. Meanwhile, I seem to have drawn the wrong card in this game of chance."

I couldn't deny that I'd been exceptionally fortunate with my rolls. This explained why my situation had become far more complicated than I initially wished for. Honestly, I'd have been better off in a world focused on martial arts.

"Gacha?" Zulu seemed puzzled by this unfamiliar term. "I'm not familiar with that, but it sounds fair enough," she remarked, flashing a mischievous smile. "Hehe. My condolences." In response, all I could muster was a sigh, given my streak of bad luck.

"The next significant matter is the penalty for the loser," she continued, a wide grin spreading across her face.

For some inexplicable reason, I didn't like the smirk on her face, and I had a nagging feeling that my 'Sense Danger' skill was playing a crucial role in all of this.

"The loser becomes a slave to the winner and will be bred by them."

"But I'm a man..." I couldn't help but interject, feeling that this situation was growing increasingly bizarre, and I couldn't discern whether it was a good or bad thing.

"That's irrelevant, at least in this world," Zulu responded, raising her arms with an indifferent expression.

"So, if I lose, I'll be with a man?" I asked, doubt lacing my voice.

"No, to be 'Bred,' you'll become a woman."

"..."

I didn't know if that was a good thing, while I could only imagine a female form of me with big tits and a big juicy ass being raped by a muscular tomboy girl, until I got an ahegao expression and I passed out until I was unconscious.

All good, but no... But it didn't quite sit right with me. I would have preferred to commit suicide, actually.

Strangely, I wasn't particularly concerned about such a fate or anything of the sort. What bothered me more was the thought of my own defeat or being submissive by a woman; It simply felt wrong.

Had I always been this arrogant? I pondered, shaking my head inwardly. No, I didn't believe so. As I listened to the explanations about the logic of this twisted world, I found myself oddly amused by it all.

"Fundamentally, the game is between males and females. If the man wins, he can slave and breed as he sees fit. However, if the woman prevails, you will be the one made into a woman"

"How the fuck is such a thing possible"

"There are skills for situations like that," she clarified, dispelling my doubts. It became clear that this world boasted a wide array of skills for such purposes sexual.

"Oh, and you're the first person I've seen with such a composed reaction; it's quite intriguing," Zulu remarked, studying me as if I were a novel specimen before her.

I couldn't help but agree. Losing my composure over something as unlikely as this would have felt entirely wrong, even if it meant pushing my body to its limits to get a more strength..

"In any case, my explanation of this world is complete. You best be prepared for what's to come."

"Thank you for your assistance..."

Zulu simply nodded her hand, "However, you possess the ability to adapt, right?" She inquired, her gaze now full of interest.

"Yes, and I'm curious why 'Adaptability' is considered a 'weak' skill..." I couldn't resist asking, as it was a crucial topic for me.

"Ah, I see you're inquisitive," Zulu noted.

"What kind of person would employ a skill that demands so much effort and extreme self-infliction to achieve even minimal resistance to a particular element or skill? Essentially, no one, and such an act is considered insane in the history of this world," Zulu explained in a somber tone, a departure from her usual humorous demeanor.

"First of all you have to understand that a skill is essentially 'random' when the Skill God suddenly approves it. It leads to amateurs who can't harness their skills to their full potential,"

For the first time since Zulu began elucidating the workings of this world, I couldn't shake the feeling that skills weren't randomly assigned. After all, the Adaptability skill felt too fitting for me, despite its diminished power in this world.

"Nonetheless, it's quite probable that you'll encounter Torture Mary in eight or nine out of ten cases," Zulu conjectured, mentioning the name of my first opponent in this new realm.

"Torture Mary?" I inquired with confusion.

The name evoked something reminiscent of "Akame ga Kill." I could only hope she wasn't as formidable as Esdeath, or victory wouldn't come easy. Strangely, the prospect of facing such a formidable opponent excited me more than I would have expected.

"She's a gladiator who specializes solely in individuals like you, the summoned ones. She used to be a knight but now revels in cruel sadism," she stated in a serious tone. "Her swordsmanship is top-notch, and she possesses an ability that can kill you instantly if you get struck."

So, in essence, a magic knight. Frankly, I was anticipating something even more challenging, and I needed something that could enhance my speed and attack power, something that would allow me to swiftly conclude the fight once I entered her domain.

"Well, even if you die, you'll be resurrected with the 'Revive' ability for get raped... So you have no chance, the best thing you can do is to stay and enjoy it" she remarked, as if this were a normal occurrence for her.

Now as much as I had complained about this world, it was much better than that deep abyss-it seemed like a very fun way to live. After all, I could face so many strong opponents and then fuck every woman I defeated as long as I felt like it.

"AHAHAH!" I couldn't help but burst into laughter, finally grasping the full scope of my situation. I noticed Zulu's surprise at my reaction, but at that moment, I couldn't care less.

"So, my current situation is essentially 'survival of the fittest.' Those who are popular win, and the ones who are loathed lose. What a tragedy... Well, I simply refuse to lose to anyone," I declared, feeling a rising heat within me, like a steam engine gearing up.

"It's going to be a really fun world where I can go wild!"

A/N: I have left the Picture of the respective characters to give you a clear idea so that you can follow the story better.

As for my choice of the skill "Adaptability" and the most obvious choice given the Hanma bloodline. In the Manga it says that the skill is chosen causally, but the original Mc has a skill that is too perfect for him to be a coincidence.

Then from the next chapter the first Coliseum fight begins and the first martial art that Mc will learn for this story will be revealed.

If you have some suggestions you can comment, I will respond as always.
