71 Here I Come

Darling lifted his hands, and as flames formed around him, he prepared to exorcise the demon

He put his hands on its chest, and as he did, the flames turned black.

"Demon's cleansing," Darling shouted as he put the flames on Sekhmet's body.

Sekhmet shouted in pain, and his body grew more prominent. He lifted Hago with him and kicked Darling back.

Hago fell and teleported to where Darling was being thrown too and caught him.

"You good?" Hago asked.

"Yeah, thanks," Darling answered.

"Seems that ability hurt him." Hago thought, "Darling can you do that again."

"I have like eight minutes left before I run out of this ability, but yeah, I can for now," Darling replied.

"Let's make the best out of it," Hago said.

He signaled Jx and Lyssa to move and told Flakes to stand back for the moment.

Jx and Lyssa came from different directions toward Sekhmet.

Lyssa looked Sekhmet in the eye casting her illusion. Sekhmet saw hundreds of Lyssa running toward him, and he jumped in the air.

"Wait, Lyssa doesn't attack yet," Sekhmet said in Hago's voice.

Lyssa stopped moving, and Sekhmet destroyed the ground causing Lyssa to fall over. Jx jumped in the air and let out ice shards toward the demon and pierced him, causing it to shout again.

Flakes appeared under the demon and grabbed onto its legs, and jerked him through the ground. Flakes jumped out, putting his hand on Sekhmet's face, but he failed to contract him. He moved out the way, and Sekhmet screamed while his mouth was wide open. Hago threw his blade right through it, piercing him all the way.

"Now, Darling," Hago screamed.

Darling surged toward Sekhmet; his head was leaning back, and he put his hands near his face.

Flames emerged from his palm that soon turned black.

Hago jumped, and when he rose above Sekhmet's head, he heaved his other sword down toward Sekhmet, lancing him from the top of his head.

"Hellfire flames: Demons purifying."

As the flames burned through Sekhmet's, he screamed in agony until he eventually stopped moving.

Hago walked toward Sekhmet and pulled out both his swords from both sides, and wiped the blood off of them.

"We should get a move on; we don't want to fall behind," Hago stated as he moved toward the direction the team headed.

Kazuha and the Rankers moved and looked around the area.

Kazuha stopped moving and saw the demon that chased after a human that was running. It plummeted on top of him, grabbed his head, and started bashing its head into the ground.

"Place of eternal suffering and torment where sinners go, I wonder if that man is here," Kazuha thought.

They continued to walk and entered a small area. In the distance, they saw active volcanoes that went out constantly and flooded into the area.

Back in the real world, Meinu, the King of Bulcroaria, got his soldiers ready and made them head toward Feronia to enter the gate and help Kazuha as he promised. He brought thousands of his best men, who made their way to the gate and entered without knowing what was waiting for them.

Tsuki put his cloak on and stared at the mirror.

"the underworld, a deep pit or distant land of shadows where the dead are gathered," Tsuki thought. "As long as Darling is there, then I'll go.

Milo continued his walk when these ghosts started floating toward him. He stared at them and then walked right past them.

A mare, a creature known for feeding on people's nightmares, appeared and started to follow Milo. He noticed it following him and kept walking after a while; it moved in front of him, getting in the way of Milo's path.

"What do you need," Milo asked it.

Zenkai and Vannox were walking alone with no clue where they were heading. They saw nothing but darkness and flames.

Carson watched the Phantom Demons walk away, and he turned right back toward the direction they came from.

"Here I come, Vannox; I hope you're ready," Carson let out.
