41% of LGBTQ+ people go back into the closet in their first job.

Nearly 50% of LGBTQ+ people are in the closet at work.

7% of LGBTQ+ people don't come out of the closet at all.

How do we help?

There are lots of different ways to help but here are 3 ways you could help if you know how they feel:

1. If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community yourself you could help them by coming out yourself.

2. Making them know that you love them/ show them that you support the LGBTQ+ community.

3. If you are in a public area you could point out someone the same gender that you identify as and say something like, "that person is so cute." Or "wow I would date them if I got to know them."

This is an easy but effective way to do things. Most people attempting to come out of the closet just need a little bit of help.
