Pearl palace,

A group of more than fifty females stood outside the palace. They all wore flowery garlands around their wrists and everyone had a similar hairstyle of chick bun. The white clothes they wore, were wrapped around without leaving any skin for out lookers.

All these woman belong to Lotus sect who performs Tantric Magic.

The most unique feature of this women's group is, that they all carry a musical instrument. The workers of the palace were staring at this scene with wide eyes as they couldn't even name some instruments in their hands.

All the women were 18-30 years old virgins, waiting for their master who went inside to have a chat with the family head of this pearl palace.

At the entrance of the palace, the word Clark is written boldly in ancient script. Inside the large hall which is glowing under the moonlight chandelier, six members sat in deep discussion.

At the centre of the table, a hand-sized golden inscription is placed.

The current head of the Clark family, Robert Clark sat with an uneasy face. Beside him, his son, Zac the sat with his legs crossed.

Zac's gaze fixed on the young disciple of the Lotus sect. But the disciple named Mohini ignored him like a pauper.

"Mr. Robert, do you really can't decipher this inscription? I came from a long distance for this one task. Matriarch of Lotus sect personally sent me for this task. Please take another look." Sima, the elder of Lotus sect requested in a respectful tone.

"Respected elder, I'm not hiding anything from you. Even though I can recognize the Maithili script from the golden inscription, I can't grasp the meaning of the words written in it." Robert replied with an honest face.

Sima felt disappointed after hearing his words. "Robert, I already enquired with Suncliff family of North mountains. They also couldn't decipher this inscription. According to my matriarch, the information in this inscription contains the location of great treasure. So, please tell me, is there any way to decipher this inscription?" Sima asked again with a serious face.

Robert became silent as he couldn't think of a person who is more capable than him in reading old scripts. But suddenly his brother, Henry proposed a name that sent fear in Robert and his son Zac.

"Patriarch, how about Max? He can easily do this job." Henry, proposed in a loud tone.

"Who is he? Is your family relative?" Sima, the elder of the Lotus sect asked hurriedly as she felt hopeful.

But Robert held his wooden cane tightly as he stood up and turned towards his brother Henry. "How dare you bring the name of dead people? Shut your mouth when the elders were discussing."

The entire hall became pin-drop silent. The wife of Henry immediately dragged him away from the hall.

But Sima, the elder of the Lotus sect immediately understood that the Patriarch is hiding some details.

"Robert, don't try to cover up things. Even though I came here with a respect for your family, I won't spare you if you hide any details from me. Tell me Who is Max?" She questioned authoritatively.

Robert sighed as he put down his reading glasses before speaking. "Max… Master Max Clark.

He is the son of my brother, the old patriarch of this family who passed a long time ago. At the age of 18, on his marriage day with his cousin, Max did an unspeakable thing. His mother banished him from the family and sent him to the 'criminal zone'. (Explained in next chapter.)

At present, Max held in the 'A' grade prison. He could have been the next heir of this family. But we can't accept a criminal into the proud Clark family." Robert picked up the water glass as his throat went dry while speaking about Max.

"Patriarch, why did your brother spoke confidently about Max? If Max went to the criminal Zone at the age of 18, how could he be more knowledgeable than you? Mohini, the core disciple of Lotus sect questioned with a confused face.

"Because Max grew up studying the Ancient scriptures, historical culture, inscriptions, and Antiques. He never went to a formal school like everyone else. From childhood, he studied ancient scripts and antiques of ancient origin. Not only that, he practiced Kalari war techniques from the last master of Lionheart family.

Elder Sima, I'm saying for your own good. I know Max's character. He won't help you as you guys belong to the Tantric sect. At present, he is the head of the entire 'A' Zone. You can't force him to speak. So, give me some time to study the inscription." Robert explained every detail without any lies. He doesn't want to become an enemy of the Lotus sect, that's why he spoke honestly.

But Sima picked the gold inscription and placed it inside the square box. "I don't need your suggestion patriarch… I have my ways of taking control over any man in this world." She declared confidently and left without looking back.

Zac, the son of the patriarch continued to stare at the back of Mohini. He felt disappointed as he didn't get any chance to play tricks with Mohini.

After leaving the mansion, Sima stooped at the entrance. "Mohini, take this." She passed on the square box containing a golden inscription to sect disciple, Mohini."

"But… elder, why are you passing me this?" Mohini questioned with a confused face.

"Because you are the most beautiful girl in the sect. Go to the 'A' grade criminal zone and find Max. I don't know whether you seduce him or threaten him, but you must make him decipher this inscription." Sima declared as she placed the inscription box firmly in Mohini's hands.

Mohini couldn't refuse the elder's order. She nodded her head in silence.

Sima took out a red color bank card and passed it to Mohini. "Don't worry about money. Spend as much as you want. But make sure the task is done. If necessary use magic." Sima exchanged a long look at Mohini and left with the woman's group who is waiting outside.
