Chapter 9: New school & Rewards.
Calit eyes rush open his hands shaking his back arch up, He yells, "I refuse." Kat wakes up abruptly to see her son holding his chest where the heart would be, and he's face bright red as Calit sees his mother.
"Sorry, mom I had a nightmare." Kat repondes, "It's fine honey." Kat goes up to Calit and hugs him, "But this is your first day of school, don't be late." Kat smiles sweetly at Calit, Calit's mood was boasted up a hundred percent when he was in school he always got picked on. But now he had a puppet he won't stand out.
A bus stops right next to Calits home, Usually kids will go to school on their puppets but in Macheson high, everyone gets picked on buses so when there is time for war they know where to go but at most they will be only recruits if there was a war.
Other schools don't do this but this is a top school I only barely got in because of my high academics but now unless you have a puppet, you will fail everything since most of the training is how to control your puppet or how to fight with your puppet, academics are put behind.
Calit quickly washes his face as he goes to the school bus. His hunger will be satiated another time mom didn't have money for breakfast since most of the money was already spent and he will have to eat the free lunch at school.
Not that they're bad but meh? As Calit enters the bus he sees everyone looking at him almost that if he sits next to them they might eat him alive!! Calit, gulped but he found a seat next to the only kid not glaring at him, a little chubby kid with blue overalls. He greets Calit warmly, "Hello my name is pete."
Calit responds with a smile on his face, "Hello, Pete im Calit." Pete respondes with excitement briming out of him, "It's nice to meet you, Calit." Calit says, "Do you know why everyone is glaring at me?" Pete pauses for a couple of moments then with a serious expression responds, "Is because you went to the police station they think a poor person like you doesn't deserve that chance even if they commit a crime they don't let them into the police station and let them spar nonetheless."
Calit was astonished no wonder that was a rare quest speaking of which, I gotta remember to check my stats! System respondes, "User stats will now be displayed." Wait no please!! Calit thought but it was far too late.

Calit ignores the system messaged, "Thanks for explaining that to me pete." Calit sighs I'm still going to get picked on but if you think I'm going to let you, never again if I get hit I'm fighting back one day or another you're getting what's coming. Calit fortifie his will.
