Chapter 1: Birthday Madness

My name is Hazel Cortez and this is my story!

I just turned 16 today and it's going to be a big day. My brother William has been planning my birthday out for a month now and he is excited for what the day brings. It worries me because he has been secretive about what he has planned. Dad keeps telling me, "Just wait and see what happens baby! Your brother is full of surprises!" Sure dad! My best friend Addison refuses to tell me anything. Addison is dating William which is annoying because what girl wants her brother to date her best friend? Not me that's for sure! Oh, I almost forgot! William is my twin brother and as fun as it may seem, it is quite annoying! As I was saying, Addison is walking through my bedroom door as I am laying in bed because I just want to sleep all day because why not right? Addison asks me, "Why are you still in bed boo? We have to get ready for the day!" I am rolling my eyes as usual! "I have no intention of waking up! I am going back to bed so!" Addison looks annoyed as usual! "No your not! It is your birthday babes! Wake up!" I start laughing at that because she acts so bossy especially when I do things that annoy her which is funny!
