“Existential crisis or missed assignment?” Rhys smiles.

Sawyer shakes his head, seemingly still in his head. “Not even close. Nihira got bitten. Like Kisho.”

“Oh my god. She’s not, um…?”

“No.” Sawyer looks Rhys dead-on. “No. She is not dead. Things just aren’t looking good for her, and they need me to come to Paris to save her.”
