Training Begins

"Caw, Caw" the trees rustle as a flock of crows can be seen, their black feather were dark as midnight, and their eyes red as blood itself, they were all on many dead trees and if one did not look closely they would have been mistaken for the trees leaves.

"Caw!"

suddenly all these birds flew away in one big flock, as their cries can be heard waking the dead forest, as the flock disappeared into the darkened night sky, a black feather slowly fall from the sky, and as the feather touched the earth below it ripples began to form as though the feather landed on a calm sea, the ground became black and out of the ground came that of two.

it was nic and graygrash, nic looked shocked as he was still trying to figure out what just happened, while graygrash on the other hand began to walk infront of him calmly as ever.

nic looked around to find that all he could see was black, the dead trees were black as though they had been burnt, the sky only had one big red moon that gave the darkness the aura of death giving its red light to the dark world, the earth under his feet was nothing more than black sand, their was no sign of living vegetation as far as the eyes can see.

"where are we?" nic asked as he was confused.

"this is a skill of my gift, it is known as darkened world, this world acts as a reflection to the other, light barely makes it to this world as it is nothing more than a shadow, and you are nothing more than a shadow as well, your real body is in a room unconscious, while your shadow is in here, your shadow would act as your body in here and you will feel as though you are in your body, but that's all apart of my gift, you can be injured to death in here as long as your real body is not killed you would be fine, thats why this is the perfect training grounds, am able to bring you pain without worrying about your death" graygrash said coldly.

"gulp" nic swallowed his saliva as he looked at graygrash, soon after graygrash swung his hand and out of the ground two large black skeletons emerged, their eye sockets had that of a red light within them, and they wore a thorn up long black rag for clothing that covered even their feet, only their heads were not covered, but these were not human skeletons as their bones were black.

"these would be your test for now, you defeat one and two more of the same strength would emerge, I would be leaving as their is nothing else for me to do" saying this graygrash began to vanish as that of black smoke.

nic wanted to say something but as soon as he turned to face graygrash, the two of the skeletons moved towards him at incredible speed, and both of them struck at him, nic raised his hand to defend but the force was to great, his arms shattered and he was sent flying, but the skeletons did not give him no chance and both of them grabbed him out of the air and finished him as both their fist struck nic face at the same time, the force was so great that his head shattered.

the sudden pain was gone, and nic did not know what happened as he reappeared standing infront of the shadow skeletons, 'what the hell did they just kill me' nic was deep in thought as he had his eyes on the shadow skeletons, he then barely twist his head to look at the location where graygrash was, but to find that he was not their, as nic looked back to the shadow skeletons he saw that their was only one.

'but their were two, where is the....awhhg' nic received a fist to the back of his head, and reappeared before the two shadows once more.

'what the hell, I was sure I had my eyes on him when did he move, even though I looked where graygrash was I still had them in my peripheral vision' nic was deep in thought as he did not take his eyes off of the puppets, they were extremely fast and powerful, and they seem to not hesitate about taking opportunities, if nic gave them an opportunity to attack they would take it without hesitation.

'I wasn't even able to use reset, they attack so fast and give no chance of a counter, these are perfect soldiers' nic was at a stalemate, he did not know what to do, but it seemed like the skeletons didn't like the waiting game either.

instead of running to nic, one of the skeletons ran to the side and began to run around nic, its speed was incredible, the puppet then stopped as it was behind nic, as nic looked behind him the one infront of him wasted no time, at it sped towards nic without hesitation.

"Age-Manipulation Fairies-Peak"

nic then transformed into a large middle age man with flowing black hair, his wings disappeared as he stood upright, his horns looking as that of a bull.

nic then raised his hand as he stopped the fist coming towards him, he did not waste no time in striking the shadows skeleton head with all his strength, but as he did so the shadow skeleton burst into black smoke, the smoke then turned into two new shadow skeletons.

but nic did not have no time to focus on these events, he was struck in the back by the other shadow skeleton, the attack sent him off balance and stumbling forward, but before he could regain his balance he was meet with two bone first to the face, the attack carried alot of power, and nic was forced off the ground but before he could fall, a shadow skeleton dropped kicked him in the stomach forcing him onto the floor, then the others began to beat him while he was on the floor.

nic reappeared once more, this time back in his original form, but now their were three shadow skeletons infront of him, 'shit, how am I supposed to fight these, they do not care about being hurt, and they have no fears, they take any chance they get without any second thought, they are just unreal'

as nic was in a deep thought, the shadow skeletons did something amazing, two shadow skeletons grabbed the one in the middle hands and slingshot him towards nic, they did not hesitate no more, it was as though they were also learning in the fight with nic, the shadow skeleton struck at nic who was in his original form, the attack was unexpected, and nic was not prepared.

the shadow skeleton went right through him and kept on going, bursting nic into pieces, nic reappeared again, this time as soon as he did he went into fairies peak form.

but as he did so, the shadows did not move, it was as though they judged that nic in his original form was just weak, so the attacked him before he transformed.

"alright let's get serious then" nic said as he placed one hand forward and the other to his side.
