[southern borders cells]

*drip...drip..* the sound of water falling from the roof echoed through the empty room, there were prison cells placed in a row, there was only one exit but the darkness of the room made it seem as if there was none.

"I told you we should have kept running" mion whispered.

"your lucky that I was with you else you would have died, to think you have the balls to fight four vs one when it was obviously your loss" dona voice echoed as she was not even bothering to whisper because there was no one else in the room, the cells were empty.

"lucky?, if we had kept running instead of waited for nic then we would have escaped"

"your really an idiotic swine, how long would we have been able to run or keep hiding before we were caught, the only reason I choose to come to the beastmen lands instead of the opposite direction is because the knowledge of beastmen having more leniency than the elves"

"well look at where there leniency got us, in cells like dogs"

"dont worry, they will give us a trial and if we are found not guilty, we would be safe in the beast lands"

"and if we are found guilty?"

"well we would be used as their queen experimental equipment, someone I known told me about this" dona mumbled

"experiment!!, what kind of experiment!" he asked, he couldn't imagine the things that the queen would do to him, all types of torture and wierd devices were pictured in mions head.

"that I cannot answer, the queen although powerful loves to experiment on living beings, the type of experiment is classified, not even the king's of other races know what she does"

"so how long would we have to wait until a trial" mion asked as he was cold and feeling sick just being in this place for a couple hours.

"that am not sure about either"

after hearing these words mion chose to sit in a corner and await his trial.

[deep within the monster den]

"shit am lucky to have survived" nic thought.

when he seen the rhino looking at him he was in shock until the monster warthog attacked it giving him the chance to run, as he ran for his life he encountered even more dangerous monsters, even the plants wanted to eat him, he was left with no better options than to hide in a cave behind of a waterfall.

"how the hell did I even got here" nic thought as he looked at his sword, it was obvious that his sword took control of his body but why come here.

it didn't take nec long though to find out that this was one of the places his mother told him about, lands that spawn powerful monsters.

when he was young although he never left rosevolt his mother told him alot of stories about the outside world when she was alive, he didn't know how she knew so much all he known at the time was that he enjoyed her stories.

*crooock!!* a unpleasant sound was made behind nic, as he looked around he seen that of a giant tongue coming towards him.

*flap..flap..flap..*

*boom!* the tongue charged into the cave wall a caused a crack in it.

as nic looked at the tongue and trailed it back to its body, he found that he was looking at a giant stone but a close look and one could see that it was a toad.

"shit no wonder I didn't see you" he thought inwardly

the toad tongue was brought back into its mouth as it just looked at its target again hoping that he would turn around again unaware that it have already been spotted.

"hmm your strong but your dumb" nic mumbled as he looked at the toad, that had so much faith in its sneak attack
