A New King

"ssss!" the snake reacted to its injured comrade, its large body hit the roof of the cave as it sliders towards nic.

"you think am afraid of you, bring it on you oversized worm!" nic said as he throws the tongue of its comrade to the side and prepared to strike with his sword that was held tightly with both hands.

as in response the snake opened its large mouth and was prepared to strike, to the snake nic was nothing but a little snack, its black triangular shaped scales blend into the caves darkness as well as it's big black beaded eyes, it was a monster that was made to fight in the dark.

nic kicked back as the snake rammed his head into the ground at where he was standing, he didn't gave up this opportunity to escape, he ran pass the snake prepared to run out the exit as no one was guarding it, this was his plan all along their was no way he was going to go up against two monsters that he had no idea of what they were capable of.

he could not put a scratch on the toad so he had no hope of beating it and he also did not see no hope in the large snake, the way it rammed its body into the ground just shows that it had some serious defense.

"Croock!" the toad cried as though it was cursing the snake for letting its food get away, in response the snake turned its large body moving the end of its body at nic.

nic could not have dodge this attack and was hit into the cave wall the speed the snake moved was just unimaginable for such a large monster this was not to be possible.

blood shot out of nic mouth, he was in excruciating pain.

"croock" the toad was pleased and lifted its large body, dust and rock dropped off the toads body it stand to a height of sixteen feet, it's large muscular body that looked like that of a big bolder was lifted up by its bulky legs.

*THUD* the toad jumped but it did not cover much ground it seems that with its defense came the trouble of slow movement, if nic did not cut its tongue it would not have had a reason to move.

nic turned his eyes to the exit once again but this time the snake was back to blocking it, it seemed that it was not going to even give nic the slightest bit of hope as the big toad kept moving closer and closer to nic.

"well I guess this is it, but I rather not die by being eating" nic closed his eyes and grabbed the hilt of the sword with both of his hands and point it in the direction of the toad that was approaching him "thy blade of darkness I sacrifice thy life set ablaze and burn away thy life" in response black smoke seemed to be protruding from the dark blade

the sword started to get red hot as though it was being forged, "you are to be honored you both will accompany me in the afterlife" he did not know why but when he went into the fairy peak stage it did not only change him physically, it also change his emotions and the way he react to things as though he was above everything else.

"UNDYING SUN" nic slash the sword horizontally in the direction of the toad, but nothing seemed to have happened.

the toad stopped moving and looked at nic as it stood right above him it did not move as though it was paralyzed, but then a red thin line can be seen horizontally on the toad body, not just the toad but the cave wall behind the toad.

"ABLAZE!" in response to these words mad flames burst out of the line, the toad started to burn and cried in agony.

nic eyes started to run that of blood and his skin looked pale as he used the sword as a cane to keep him from falling "cough, cough" blood was flowing from the side of his mouth.

"not....yet" nic then looked at the snake that was at the exit, the toad slowly burned away to ash.

nic raised the blade up and place one foot forward as he held the sword in a thrusting position, "DRAGONS FINAL BREATH" he thrust the sword forward with the tip in the direction of the snake.

*BOOM!* furious fire burst out of the cave entrance, all the monsters look in the direction of the sound as it echoed through the forest, even the warthog that was feasting on a giant rhino dead body looked towards the sound, then in response it cried out in the direction of the noise, soon after all the monsters started to cry out in the cave direction, it was as though they were acknowledging a new king.
