'He's fast!' Unbeknownst to Maki, she had to deal with the sorcerer that fought many higher grade Sorcerer's than him and stood his ground. Dark haired sorcerer, outright disappeared from Maki's sight and came out of thin air next to her, preparing to punch her at full force. Her head moved on an instinct to avoid the punch in the face.

Oiketsu was not going to underestimate anyone, on the contrary, he will show respect by using whatever power he has in hands…maybe with an exception of his cursed technique. So with that said, he grabbed onto the weapon Maki was holding.

Grab

She had great strength by holding onto this weapon, Oiketsu had some trouble directly disarming her, but with the kick onto her legs, Maki lost balance and fell to the ground. Though still not letting go of the weapon, he got on top of her and pressed down the long staff on her neck. Female's strength in triceps was fairly not enough to go against him, so Maki was barely hanging on.

"Not going to yield?" Oiketsu whispered in her ears, much to her annoyance. Maki gritted her teeth. Refusing to yield till the last moment. She tried to get the sorcerer of herself, but it was impossible due to the boy's weight. She wasn't liking the idea of losing to someone from Kyoto Jujutsu High. She couldn't budge him.

Meanwhile Kamo's grip on the weapon remained steady. Oiketsu made sure to not show any signs of struggle, despite the fact that Maki was seriously strong for someone without cursed energy. Not just that, her eyes held the determination he had never seen before, Maki would not yield by herself…that's for sure.

Panda on the other hand, observing the combat of the two, could only sigh. He expected it to be a more intense confrontation, not for Maki to lose this easily. 'She didn't overestimate her own abilities, instead she misjudged what Kamo was capable of.' The competitive nature of Jujutsu Sorcerers was unchangeable, but one must understand limits.

"Enough, Maki. Yield." Panda said.

"Salmon." Inumaki also agreed.

Maki hesitated, but what could she do? She glared up at the person who looked down on her, in literal sense. With visible frustration in her eyes she accepted the defeat without saying a word, simply loosening strength in her arms.

Oiketsu stood up, offering Maki a hand to help her stand up on her feet. Despite their clash earlier, the girl accepted it. "Don't sell yourself short, you are strong. Much stronger than most in Kyoto." though, only real competition in his previous school were Mechamaru and Todo, Maki would do well against others.

"Well, I guess, it wasn't that bad for a Kamo either."

Maki Zenin was strong no doubt. Her physical strength is above people like Noritoshi and Miwa, despite them having cursed energy at their disposal. However, if Noritoshi properly uses his Blood Manipulation technique he'll be a much greater force. That technique compensates in its applications on the body, instead of having some superficial effect on anything, like Limitless or Ten Shadows.

I grasped some things about the Blood Manipulation technique. By controlling my internal blood, I'm capable of increasing the speed at which my blood circulates, supplying muscles with more oxygen. The clan calls this extension technique "Flowing Red Scale", though Noritoshi is greatly limited by the fact that he is unable to generate blood.

My new teacher, Gojo, instantly told me about the idea of generating blood via the Reversed Cursed Technique. Though the expenditure of the Cursed Energy will be high, it is worth it, as I'm able to increase my power exponentially. The time frame I'm able to use two techniques together is rather low, maybe I'll last five minutes at best, but we'll progress further in Gojo's training course.

"Oiketsu, I want to ask you, on what level do you think you are able to utilize your reversed cursed technique?" Gojo's question was ruther unexplainable, I couldn't really tell, but I was able to close up the wounds, even internal ones.

"I think it's solid."

"So, can you regenerate your limbs as well? You must have enough cursed energy already to do that…" I had no answer to that question. Because frankly, I've never lost limbs before and I haven't tried regenerating. "Not just that you should be able to even regenerate brain tissues as well, frankly, you need to practice your RCT as well."

"And how will I do that? Cut myself?"

"Precisely."

Gojo refrained himself from creating the "appropriate" situation for me to fully grasp regenerative properties of the technique, apparently it required "extreme" measures. While I wasn't trying to die today, I did learn a thing or two. Firstly, the RCT would only regenerate the limb if it's applied the moment you lose it and the output of positive energy must be colossal.

It's extremely draining to use the reversed cursed technique for a prolonged amount of time. I'm surprised that Gojo is able to maintain it constantly… though that's what the Six Eyes is all about. I can't possibly reach the similar control of my cursed energy, but I'll limit the loss of it. For now he recommends me to practice by using techniques I know all the time, while keeping the flow steady.

"So, how many missions have you done? Should be rather higher than us, after all, you are the Grade Two." Questions like these were obvious to be of concern to my new classmates. I wasn't to disappoint them in any way.

"I've done a fair bit of missions alone or with someone else. I've exorcized grade one curses with Mei Mei-san multiple times, she was my overseer for some time, before they started giving me lower grade, but still solo missions."

Maki rested her head on the hand and asked, "So you were essentially mentored by a Grade One sorcerer before this. Though, they keep your grade the same. That's really unfair, but who am I to talk."

"That's right." I nodded, "Jujutsu Headquarters is corrupt. If it doesn't go the way they like, they won't allow anything to happen. I understood that when they refused my candidacy for the promotion…"

"Salmon."

"Right." Even though I know Inumaki can't speak due to his technique, it's still weird to hear him speak. "I hope that I'll get a promotion once I'll get stronger here, but well, the Principal Gakuganji asked Gojo-sensei to not allow me to participate in the exchange event."

Everyone got baffled at my statement, "What?!"

"Yeah, it's very unfortunate. But there's barely anything I could do." It really was a shame, but I won't just blame it fully on Gakuganji. The Kyoto school is fairly strong even without me. It's just my status as Grade Two sorcerer that makes it unbalanced. Besides, I wouldn't wish to fight against my former classmates either, I know Todo would pick on me either way...

"The amount of stupidity that's in those old brains, grr…" Maki gritted her teeth, getting angry instead of me.

These punch people appear to be quite friendly. Gojo was right that we would get along quickly once we learn more about each other. Being in a similar situation with Maki is straight up ridiculous, both of us are held back by the clans. Her situation is much tougher than mine, that's for sure. I can't help, but respect her resolve to prove her clan wrong.

"By the way, is there only one first year here? Megumi Fushiguro."

Panda shook its head, "We were supposed to have one more female student. I believe she is still not here. Unless something happened to her, she should be arriving soon since the semester already started. So far, it's only Megumi here."

"He also had to leave school for something, I think he is retrieving some cursed object from Sendai."

"Ketsu~ I have a task just for you." Gojo banged on the door of Kamo's dorm and barged inside without waiting for a response. "You have to go and investigate the west of Tokyo, I think there might be some serious curses. Though I just want you to track them down."

Oiketsu was sleepy, he barely had opened his eyes when Gojo barged into his dorm. "Bwoah…"

He sat up on his bed covered in a blanket, "Why so early?" To his question Gojo only smiled and pointed at the watch. Matter of fact it was not early, the classes were about to begin, but now he was tasked with tracking down the curses. "Alright, let me wash my face at least…"

"Yeah, we don't have many clues where they might be, but there were multiple disappearances in the city. You go ahead and maybe even exorcize them? Who knows they might be weak or you can just call me."

Oiketsu pulled back the messy hair that covered his face and got up with a loud sigh. "Alright, I guess I'll go and start investigating now."

"Nice! I did not expect anything else, do you need some money as well maybe? I could transfer some fun-"

The white haired male was stopped, "Don't worry, I saved up enough from my missions…" With that said, Gojo Satoru bid farewell to the sorcerer and left the dorm. This was a tiresome start of another new day at Tokyo Jujutsu High, but it was more preferable than attending classes where he isn't restricted.

"I guess, I'm back on track."

June and July are rainy months in Tokyo, it usually ends somewhere in mid July, but still you could always expect to have raindrops falling on your clothes. Unfortunately, Oiketsu hasn't brought an umbrella and he didn't want to buy one. His highschool uniform was the only thing he could use so far. He had a hoodie which he pulled over his head and walked like this in the rain.

The western side of Tokyo is suburban, there are a lot of flats and two story houses. In general, there were a lot of people living here. This was a safe haven for curses, due to the amount of negative thoughts there could be. All of those buildings meanwhile provided a cover for them, as the curses could traverse through constructions easily.

Most of the people were unable to see them, not before their deaths at least. The hard thing about finding curses is that, people are unaware of their existence, the Jujutsu sorcerers have to tie their searches to some legends or to some places with bad omen, or whatever the local communities tie those murders and disappearances too.

Under the cover of the rainy day, it would be much harder to search for things, as not a lot of people are outside for questioning. So far, Okietsu first has to search for the people that went missing and maybe find their parents or close friends who he can question. He took out his smartphone, opened the search browser and began typing,

[Went Missing, Tokyo]

Multiple articles showed up, even some posts on social media and some news channels covered them as well. Each of them asking about the current whereabouts of the teenagers that went missing…

'They must have parental figures, it would be wise to ask them first…though it'll be weird to be questioned by the teenager. Maybe I should ask that Ijichi…'

Oiketsu scrolled further on his phone and noted down the names mentioned as well as hotlines to call in the emergency. He would need to visit the parents of people missing, in this case two, both of them are students of different schools, but could be friends and tied to a singular case. Their parents were first to make publications on social media searching for their children…

From what it seems, there was nothing found about the teenagers yet. They've completely disappeared from the radar and weren't found for the past three days, which sets Oiketsu to believe that they ventured somewhere else where they shouldn't have. The curses in these places inhabit abandoned buildings mostly and leave the corpses of their victims there as well, with the items.

For things that don't happen in those places, then there would be some clues left. Maybe some items dropped and things along those lines.

"Hello, is this Kiyotaka Ijichi?"
