VINCE TOLD CHRYSTAL SHE IS A BIT TOO LATE

Kissing her mom as she closed her eyes, Sidney then pulled the covers over her, "Good night, Mom, I love you."

"I love you too honey, and you have a good night's rest."

Went Sidney went to her room seeing Haley on the bed sitting, looking at the time, "Honey, it is already nine-thirty, so why are you not asleep?"

"Sis, I was thinking about your accident."

"Sweetie, I am fine you can see the bruises when I bathe and clean it."

"Then I will wait."

"Okay sweetie, but you know we have to wake up very early?"

"I know, but I cannot sleep."

"And why is that?"

"Sis, did I hear Mom say you are getting married?"

"Oh honey, will you stop worrying, I will always be here to take care of you, so try and sleep."

Tucking her under the blanket, Sidney felt angry knowing, 'They are all making decisions for my life without consulting me. Not because I don't say no to them, that gives them the right to keep pushing me to do what I don't want?'

While bathing the tears flowed, when it stops she dry herself and went to bed hoping to fall asleep, without having all the questions bombarding her mind.

At the club Vince was about to return to the stage when Chrystal encircles her hands around Vince's waist, embracing him. "Chrystal, what is wrong with you, let me go, I am needed on stage."

"Vince, I am so sorry honey."

"Sorry, for what Chrystal?"

Vince asks as he admires how the red lace top looks so beautiful, making her fair complexion looks even lovelier. She always looks amazing that's what I admire so much about her. Whatever outfit she wears makes her look outstanding but all the sorry she can say now isn't worth a dime. I just have to wait and see who is this person GP has chosen.'

"Honey, I have decided to accept your proposal so we can get married now, I know you were hurt when I said I wasn't ready, but I decided that it is you I want to spend my life with, so you can go ahead and make the arrangement for our marriage."

"I am very sorry because I was given a time frame to work with. Because of your rejection, I was left with no choice. Do you think I wanted to get married? No, my dear, but I thought you had loved me enough to say yes.

Now GP has already arranged my marriage and you saying yes comes a bit too late; I cannot tell him no, so back of, now I must go."

Hearing the members of the group strumming their guitars.

Seeing the tears as she hugs him, Vince knew within his heart, he wish he could change GP's mind, but seeing how frail he was this evening, he wasn't willing to take any chances.

"Sorry honey, I must go, we still have two more selections before we are done for the night, you can wait but I know you have to go to work very early so good night."

Seeing Vanda, looking at him, saying to her, "I didn't know you were here?"

"Well big brother, I haven't heard you play in years, and you know I love seeing when you are giving a live performance.

I love watching you in videos but I am here now, so I didn't want to miss this performance tonight. I hope you didn't mind I asked Chrystal to accompany me?"

"It's all right, I am glad you are here, and I have missed you so much." Hugging her then ran to the back of the stage.

Watching Vince as he goes, he looks amazing in the red turtle neck jersey and black pants, thinking about it now he and Chrystal were matching their colors. They would look like the perfect couple, and he looks so amazing on stage.

"I hope he can influence GP, to change his plans," Chrystal whispers.

"What are you plotting, Chrystal?"

"If I could convince him enough, that my love for him is real then he can convince GP to change his mind and accept me, instead of the person he is arranging for this marriage."

"You my friend might convince Big Brother, but it will take a miracle to change GP's mind."

"We will see, Vince loves me, and love can move the biggest mountain."

"You are right, but I wonder if it's your love for Vince will be stronger? Or Vince's love for GP will prevail."

"Will you stop being so negative, you know that Vince loves me?"

"I agree my friend, but I also know Vince loves GP more than his life. Look at him, earlier when he spoke to me there was so much tension, and now as he plays his guitar, no one will believe such a report."

"What are you trying to say, Vanda?"

"Look at him Chrystal, he is so happy and if my guess is right, he had told GP, he was coming this evening to perform and get his blessing. He loves GP, Chrystal, and he will do anything GP asks him to do, especially now that he is sick."

"What do you mean, I haven't heard anyone saying anything about GP being sick?"

"The reason I am home Chrystal is last week when GP got sick and Vince had to get some blood tests and some other tests were done on GP that was recommended. Vince said nothing to me, but I know it was bad that's why he called me home. The little I learned from the family yesterday, is Vince agreed to get married because GP had given him an option."

Chrystal thought about the things Vanda was saying when she asks, "What option was that, Vanda? Vince never mention anything about getting an option?"

When Vanda said, "Chrystal, he may not have mentioned it to you, but you know him well enough, didn't you think it was strange all of a sudden for him to come out of the blues and propose to you?"
