VINCE THOUGHT SIDNEY LIED TO HIM

Sidney ponders from the time she got married within four months, 'I already gotten seriously injured three times, besides the heartache.

While pondering on that incident and the accidents Sidney closes her eyes, she hasn't slept well in the last few days. Due to the excessive pain from the many wounds, and weakness from the loss of blood.

Also being drained from the workload at the office and the strain from keeping away from Vince.' Sidney strokes the many scabs that have healed but it still pains.

Feeling her eyes burning she kept them close as she lean on the wall. Making herself comfortable Sidney felt safe as she gently stroked the wall.

She knew she had only felt that safety when she is in Vince's arms, ignoring all the other voices that keep telling her to be careful, Sidney whispers, "He loves me and I love him."

She reaches out to touch his face but her hand touch something that causes her to jump. Sidney opens her eyes only to see the watchman walking toward her.

Hearing him saying, "Madam, it is getting late," wondering, 'For how long she had dozed off and did she confess her love to him, thank God it was a dream?'

Sidney stood up thinking it was only about half seven, taking her time as she walks slowly to get a taxi.

While walking by the square seeing it was nine forty-five already. Sidney calculates the time to reach home, getting a taxi home will take at least forty minutes if there's no traffic.

"Lord, I give Vince my promise, that I will not be late, and he will think I deceived him, please Lord Jesus touch him and reason within his heart that I had no intentions of misleading or lying to him."

At the house Chrystal observed the way Vince keep moving back and forth, speaking to Vanda softly not wanting to get too involved. She also notices Charles sitting at the dinner table but his eyes never left her.

He already suspected me concerning the kidnapping I don't want him to completely throw me out.

Realizing Vanda was ignoring her as she sits and eats her dinner Chrystal said, "Vince, why don't you come and eat, Sidney will be home when she is good and ready, so why are you eating up yourself?"

Becoming angry with her for just being here knowing every time she is here Sidney and I always have a falling out.

Wanting to drive her out but Vanda is just here for a few days. Recalling when GP wanted to restrain her and she pleaded with him saying she is her best friend.

Not wanting to be the one to ruin her few days with the family, Vince ignores Chrystal.

Observing the way he ignores her as though she said nothing, then he went to check at the front Chrystal follows him saying, "Vince, what is wrong she is a big woman why are you worrying?"

"Will you just leave me alone?"

"But Vince I worry about you." Seeing the way he watches her with those cold eyes she could have frozen to death, but she felt the chill rushes up from her spine straight to her head.

Clenching her fist as her nails dig into her hand, becoming angrier and more agitated, for all her taunting wasn't working on him. 'Oh God, what must she do to get his full attention? Nothing I say or do is swaying his mind'

Hugging him, from the back but he pushed her aside, almost falling and he didn't seem to care. Seeing how agitated he was from my touch and how he was behaving for Sidney as though he was a fish out of water.

"Vince, will you just calm down, you almost cause me to damage myself from that push. I am here to support you why are you worrying and behaving as if Sidney doesn't return you will die?"

"Will you just shut up and leave me alone, what you think has nothing to do with me."

"Vince, you are sweating, why don't you go and take a cool bath, I know that will help cool that temper of yours. 'God, please don't make that woman return?"

When he stepped through the door seeing it was already ten-o-clock, Vince started to grumble, "She lied to me so she can leave, how stupid could I be?" Hurrying up the stairs he called her phone.

Hearing it ringing in her bag, he checked the closet room, taking a deep breath feeling so relieved, her bag was just as he had put it down.

Taking some deep breaths, 'I need to calm down I am sure she will come home,' taking Chrystal's advice he went a took a cool bath to cool his brains down from overthinking.

As soon as he came out of the bathroom hearing his phone ringing. Vince knew it was not her because her phone is home.

Sitting in a taxi heading out of Escondido, reaching the town thinking that it would be easy getting a taxi, but standing up for almost ten minutes and not one taxi in sight.9 'If only I had my work bag it had the taxi driver's number, but I leave that at home and also my phone.

The street was crowded and everyone seems to be waiting for a taxi, hearing the city clock bang ten times, just then Uncle Myles stop right in front of her as though he had dropped from the sky.

'How did he manage to see me in this crowd, "Lord, I thank You, it had to be You who opens his eyes to see me.'

"Sidney, what are you doing outside so late? Come along quickly, Vince must be worried sick, especially what had happened recently."
