VINCE REMINDS CHRYSTAL IT'S AN ARRANGE MARRIAGE

Satisfied when GP said, "Okay, son, but since that child came into this house, I have failed to officially welcome her into the family, but you are right she has her business and family matters to deal with right now."

When Chrystal said, "Vince, can you walk me to my car?"

"Sure, will you excuse me GP?" Vince knew that GP was a bit displeased with him, as he and Chrystal walks out of the house but he was glad for the escape for a minute, wanting to catch a breath of fresh air, and not wanting to talk with him.

He hasn't been keeping too well since the hall got burned and Sidney hasn't returned home, but now that she has returned he might relax a bit.

Chrystal took his hand in hers, pondering from deep within as they walk, 'The way things are going my plans are failing one after the other. From what I noticed when she enters the closet room and found us, she didn't seem to care one way or the other.

But Vince on the other hand seems to be attracted to her, just hearing the way he spoke to her. I could see that he has swayed already from our original plan. I only hope with a little persuasion he will not fall through.

Oh God, if that fails then I will be losing him, I could see when he looks at her there was a sparkle in his eyes the moment he looks at her. I have never seen that sparkle before, not even for me? I can't believe within these few days so many things have already changed in his life.

I know now I can't leave things to chance because he is such an easy-going person, he might just get caught up with her being in his room and the way he keeps repeating she is his wife as though he likes the idea and the sound of it.

Now from what I observed from our conversation, he is also concealing things from me already, and he keeps pushing me away from his life.

Is it because he knew that it was I who spilt the water in his closet room? I thought he might be happy so he won't have to pretend to go along with GP's idea, but he was angry when he was questioning Vanda. I have to play it cool with him and do something fast before I completely lose him.'

Looking at Chrystal, he was glad for the getaway hoping now he could get away from Chrystal before she realized what is happening to him.

Wondering what she must be thinking, I have to be careful if she thinks I am taking sides for Sidney or even wanting her near me, she might do something stupid.

"Nothing is going on Chrystal, things are complicated right now, and by you being here so often, it is becoming more complicated."

"So, why did GP say your wife was away for a few days has something happened that I am unaware of?"

Not taking her eyes away from him wanting to know what excuse he was going to make or if he will relate what had occurred with her hall.

"Listen, Chrystal, you know this is an arranged marriage right, my wife has her issues to deal with, because the wedding arrangement happened suddenly and she didn't have sufficient time to fix all her business.

Just give me some time to think things through. But right now I am tired and frustrated and you pressuring me is not helping a bit, in fact, it is complicating things and you know GP is always on top of things.

As I said earlier, Vanda is not coming home for a few more days. So please do me a favour, and go to your home, your workplace, a friend, anything, but I need some peace. When I need you, I will come to you."

"Honey, if we can't meet up here, you can come home, Mom and Dad are away for a few days."

"That's a great idea," bending his head and then kissing her as she sits behind the steering wheel. Feeling so relieved he lifts his hand waving as she goes. "Thank You, Lord that is a relief and I hope I don't have to answer to anyone again?"

Returning to the house thinking he can hurry and get away from everyone, only to hear Aunty Myrtle calls out to him as he advance toward the stairs. "Vince, I need to ask you something?"

"Yes, Aunty Myrtle, what is it you want to know?"

"Vince, I heard that your wife X's boyfriend burns down her place, is that true?"

"Aunty, you know how rumours run like wild fire, if that is true, then he must be in jail or police custody."

"Isn't he in jail?" Seeing the way she was glaring at him, she has always had a problem with him but disrespecting her will become another problem in the house.

"To tell you the truth Aunty, my wife and I hardly communicate since we got married and you know she has been away from home since her Hall was destroyed.

We haven't spoken and at this immediate time, I am tired and need to get some rest so I don't care and I am going to get some rest. But when she returns from her mother you could ask her?"
