VINCE REGRET

Vince observed the way she squatted on the ground as though she was in grievous pain, "I want to know if you are okay, and what is not good?"

Sidney lifted her head and looks at him, observing his concern just like yesterday but the loud noise is killing me, "How can I be okay, when I cannot hear anything you are saying, except that loud bell in my head?"

Covering her ear once again, Sidney knew the faster she say her peace the faster she will leave, Inhaling deeply before she said, "Look Mr Vinceson, I am here to let you know that I am not interested in this wedding proposal from your grandfather."

Taking a few deep breaths happy that she had gotten that first sentence out of the way, then she took the courage to continue as she said boldly, "I am sure you can convince your grandfather to call off this foolish and ridiculous plan of his, I don't know what he is thinking but I am happy and he is disrupting my nice quiet life.

I came to you because he came with the proposal to my mom. I have no idea how you feel about this arrangement, but I want no part of it.

Please for God's sake, I don't want to hurt my mom because she is not well, so I agreed, but I am expecting you to come up with a plan to change your grandfather's mind."

Looking at her thinking at that moment, 'Oh God, this is not happening, is her grandfather's choice for me? What is wrong with GP?'

Vince looked at her in shock and the way she was pleading, the only thing she was not doing right now was crying, but the groaning continues as she continues to cover her ears on her knees.

It has a million and one beautiful young lady in the office and the Montgomery building, so why did he have to choose her? What is so special about her?"

Taking a deep breath Vince sit opposite GP and said in a whisper almost out of breath, "GP, I think it is time to stop this charade of yours."

"GP, this marriage you concocted in your mind with this Montrose girl how could you? I don't even know the person."

"I am sorry but I have no intention of cancelling anything, if you recall clearly, the two weeks were up and you didn't come to me, so I made my decision. You agreed to it and you cannot change your mind now.

The wedding is set, and my decision is final, I have already given the family my word and I will not turn my mouth and look like a fool not for you or anyone else."

Vince just look at him unable to believe the way he was angry, 'He had never spoken to me in that tone of voice before.'

Noticing the way he gritted his teeth, Vince looks at the others, seeing them all eating and not paying attention to GP or me.

When he leans forward so the others won't hear him. "Now, you better listen to me carefully, if you try to do anything to bring discord to break this alliance, I have made, I will personally deal with you, do you hear me?"

Angry with himself for making him this vexed, 'Oh God, he looks so shaky and his voice sounds so weak and frail coming to the few last words.'

Vince was going to take his breakfast when without a warning, GP just slumps down on his chair almost collapsing when he looks at him as the family just sits there, it seems no one was listening to us as they eat their breakfast.938
