VINCE RECEIVED A CALL

Almost reaching his car in the garage Vince remembers his phone and wallet in his room causing him to return inside, only to hear the landline ringing.

Hurrying, Vince thought Sidney was calling so he when and answered, "Hello Montgomery resident, Vinceson speaking,"

Hearing the person saying, "Sir, my name is Gideon Philip, I am calling from Grant Memorial to find out if you know a Mrs. Sidney Montgomery."

"Yes, has something happened to her?"

"I am afraid so, she was in an automobile accident and was rushed in about an hour ago at the Grant Memorial Medical Centre."

Dropping the phone Vince rushes up to his room knowing that is a private facility and he will have to pay her medical expenses.

He grabs his phone and wallet as he hurried out. Stopping suddenly as he flip open his phone checking to see if he had any missed calls, from Sidney.

What was shocking to him was, that she had called his phone three times after seven.

Trying to figure out where he was and how could he not answer his phone.

When he recalled clearly, he was resting on the bed before he went to take his bath.

'Did I fall asleep so strongly that I didn't hear the ringing? Oh God, could it be she call when the accident took place? She was in trouble and needed me and I wasn't there for her.'

Vince felt like a hundred questions keep popping up in his head at once feeling this heavy burden overshadowed him.

Seated in his car he called her phone, praying that Haley's dream wouldn't come true.

Just then he got this epiphany, 'What sort of stupid prayer I just prayed, Mr. Philp just calls and said she is at Grant Memorial Medical Centre.'

At that time he dial her phone number hearing it ringing but she was not picking up.

'Could it be she is hurt badly and doesn't have her phone or did her phone got misplaced after the accident?'

Deciding before he drives out of the garage once again he will call her phone.

When she did pick up she wasn't speaking. Calling out to her only hearing her panting and things were falling as though there was a struggle.

Wanting to know what was going on, then he heard her scream out so loudly as though she was hurt.

Fear immediately infiltrated his mind unable to see what situation she was faced with at that moment. Knowing her phone was on, calling out to her hoping to hear her say something.

Being confused Vince wanted to know what was taking place at the hospital as he keep calling her name loudly.

When he didn't hear her responding, he calls even louder as rage penetrates his mind.

When the family heard his voice so loudly they hurried out of their rooms and rushed outside wanting to know why he was calling Sidney so loud and why he sound so angry.

Seeing him holding his phone Charles asks, 'Vince, what is going on, and where is Sidney?"

At that moment when she speak he heard her say, "Vince this is a trap please don't come," then her phone went silent."

Feeling he was stifling and was unable to breathe, as he step out of the car, his knee felt as if it was jello, he bend forward and took some deep breaths trying to calm his mind from panicking.

All he could say at that moment was, "Charles," Vince felt as though he was being choked and words couldn't escape his lips. Trying to take control of his mind he took a deep breath, then whispers.

Charles notice how he was struggling to speak, even his breathing felt suffocated.

When he whispers all Charles hears him say is, "Oh my God, Charles, Sidney seems to be in some kind of trouble, I have to help her.

Earlier when I answer a call on the landline the person said that Sidney was in an accident and was being attended to at Grant Memorial, but then when I called her she seems to be struggling with someone.

Something is wrong, where am I going to find her if I don't know exactly where they are holding her? Oh God, please help me, I must find a way to help her?"

Charles notices the way he was sweating, his entire face was soaked, and there was fear written all over his face. I could see he was angry when he said, "Who would want to hurt her? She doesn't interfere with anyone."

"Vince, how about we take my car and visit the medical center? You are in no position to drive, then we will see what will happen from there."

Switching off his car, Vince notices when Remmy and Carlos jump in together with him in Charles's car. Charles didn't hesitate a second longer.

As they talk Vince felt like his head will explode, thinking that 'Sidney's life could be in danger and if this person was lying where will he find her?'

Charles slants him a glance, noticing when he wipes the tears, realizing at that moment that Vince had fallen head over heels in love with Sidney, he was not panicking but he looks frustrated and worried.

When Remmy said, "Brother, we will drop out before the hospital and scope around while you and Charles visit at the front desk, what do you say?"

"Thanks, Remmy that's a good idea." As he respond Remmy knew immediately that he was worried about the outcome of this set-up. Remmy thought about Sidney, she was very cool and very beautiful.

On many occasions, he had spoken to her and she would always respond with respect and have an honest smile.

She always brought snacks for the kids and she helps with dinner, she even makes breakfast for everyone.

I love her cooking, and a few times I observed her helping Fredrick with his home lesson. She is so different from Chrystal, she is down-to-earth and very caring. She keeps to herself and avoids any conflict, which I can't say for Chrystal who only likes to gossip and no one can even have a civil conversation with her.
