VINCE REBUKES VANDA

Slone was please with Sidney's response, 'In spite of how they had mistreated her she was taking side for Vanda, now with that, she had cleared Vanda's name only leaving Chrystal.'

"Did Chrystal tell you what Sidney said, Vanda?" Looking at her knowing the mischief they have been causing this child.

"No, GP."

When he did speak, "Then this is all Chrystal doing?"

"GP, you are going to take Sidney's word against Chrystal?"

"I am afraid so Vanda, Chrystal leaves me no other choice."

"GP, you only met Sidney a few weeks ago, and you are ready to make a hasty decision and throw Chrystal out whom you have known for over fifteen years?"

"I am sorry Vanda; Sidney is the mistress of this house."

"Mistress, GP, you bring a no-body and made her Mistress, and you want to throw out my only friend?"

Vince became angry and said, "Vanda, will you shut your mouth for God's sake, I was with Sidney the entire evening and I know she didn't do it, so show her some respect."

"Big brother, she could have repeated it to her family when she greeted them."

Vince heard when Sidney shriek before she covers her mouth. Seeing the tears flowing down her face as she turns aside.

Vince became angry with Vanda's outburst, knowing she was hurting and he had already shown her mistrust, and if she didn't confront him before GP took her then I might have done the same to her. When I was told she started the rumor I was so angry with her.

With the both of them carrying on Slone felt like his chest will burst feeling his body drift as fear overpower his mind.

Sidney turns aside and was going to leave the room when she sees grandpa almost fall she grabs hold of him before he reaches the floor.

Vince turns around when he heard Sidney shout, "Grandpa!" Seeing her almost on the floor as she was holding him. "Now you almost damage yourself, why are you stressing out? I want you to forget what everyone is saying and relax."

Sidney continues to hold him when Vince came to her assistance.

When he was seated Sidney said almost in a whisper, "Vince, please hurry and get his pressure machine." As Sidney helps grandpa to lie down. "Come on, take some deep breaths, very good... in... out... you are doing great... go on take a few deeper ones..., you can do it?"

Returning with the pressure machine seeing her rubbing his chest, "You will be fine, a few more, now where are your tablets?"

Recalling when her mom got sick how she was able to be calm and help Georgia to be calm and take care of her mom in her absence.

Listening to her trying to calm down GP, 'She doesn't panic and has a cool head.

When something happens to GP, in this house everyone panics, and the house becomes chaotic,' hearing him answer her concerning his tablet, "Right here in my pocket."

'Oh Lord, despite all that has taken place this evening she put aside her pain and hurt and is taking care with GP.'

Hearing how sweet she coaxed GP, '"Good boy, now take this and just relax, all will be well."

"Can I get some water quickly?"

Vanda rushes out the door, without Sidney seeing her as she said to Vince, "Vince, bring some water quickly," but Vanda was back.

"Here is the water," Vanda said holding it out for Sidney.

Saying to Vanda, "Give your grandfather the water?"

"GP, here you go, drink some water?"

Sidney observed he didn't want to drink the water, "Come on, don't be stubborn, drink some so the tablet could work quickly, have you already forgotten, you have guests waiting on you?"

Seeing his hesitation, Sidney lift his head a bit then took the water from Vanda feeding him, "Now you listen to me, forget about what everyone is saying, we have been friends for years isn't that true?"

Vanda was shocked by her words, 'They are friends? my God and all this time I thought that GP randomly picked her for Vince's wife.'

Seeing GP nod, "You know Vanda is not what they are saying so why are you worrying? Forget what people are saying and that foolish talk. Do you think now that I am a family member I will hurt you or bring shame to this family?"

Seeing her grandfather shakes his head and what she was saying makes a lot of sense. Observing Vince as though he was also in shock as though this is also news to him.

Vanda concluded in her mind as she listen and watch how Sidney attended to GP, 'Could she be right, she may have her pride but I was given a simple responsibility by GP to get her a gown, and I fail miserably.

I know Chrystal was angry and the way she was carrying on when she sees her with this dress, and could sense the jealousy, but Sidney look amazing in this gown. I know Chrystal wanted to make her embarrassed but the table has turned and she ended up embarrassing us instead.

But how could she think about something so despicable, knowing it will ruin my character and reputation? What was she thinking when she started that stupid rumor, is she tripping?

Now she has gotten me involved in her foolishness and Sidney is my brother's wife, even if it is just for a few months. Was I that blinded by her influence? Oh God, how could I get caught up in her stupid scheme and get her such a skimpy dress?'

Sidney sees that grandpa is much more relaxed, she said. "Grandpa, if Vanda didn't say anything, and I said nothing then let us not entertain or condone this ridicules rumor, it is just foolish talk and the person who started it just wanted to make strife in your house."

"You are right child, and thank you for helping me, I am feeling much better but I need to lie still for a little bit longer."
