VINCE FOLLOWS SIDNEY INSTRUCTION

Sidney heard grandpa saying, "Don't worry, I had asked Vanda, to get you a nice dress." 'Dear God, what they think is nice is ludicrous to me.' "Did you say, something child?"

"No, no, I was just thinking aloud, but I shouldn't waste any time it is already getting late."

Running up to the room seeing the dress on top of the bed, 'God this is laughable and preposterous.' Sidney calls his number and then puts it on the loudspeaker as she rests it on the bed and went to wash her face.

Feeling exhausted from hustling the entire day, she returns to the room hearing him calling her name, Sidney, "Sidney what is wrong?"

"I am sorry but I need your help."

"Tell me what is wrong, and where are you, I will come and get you?"

"I am home and I now heard Grandpa saying we are having a party tonight."

"Yes, I know."

"You knew? So why didn't you tell me?" Vince heard how angry she was.

When he said, "Honey, will you just calm down, it's no big deal."

Nothing is a big deal for men, becoming angrier Sidney said, "It is not a big deal to you, but it is for me, the people will be looking forward to meeting your wife, and I don't have a gown to wear this evening. You have to get me something or I will leave and go to my mother and return tomorrow."

Having no choice Vince knew she was serious and she will leave, she is very stubborn and if he don't do as she instructed him and get her a gown of her choice then she will leave. Not wanting to think anymore he said. "Sweetheart, I don't know what sort to dress you like."

"If you had informed me earlier then I would have gotten something and it is already too late for me to return to town, so you will have to get it now?"

Hearing him saying he doesn't know how he can, "Vince, listen to me, when you stand in the store, looking at the dresses, see if you will like me in them, or not when you bring them home, I will know if that's how you want me to look."

"What the hell kind of answer is that?" he refuted, but she had already switched off.

Being left with no choice Vince didn't want her to go to her mom, he knows she was serious about leaving so he hurries as he went to the mall looking for a store with dresses for functions and weddings.

Standing in Elaina's boutique, closing his eyes, "Is this some kind of a test? How do I know what she likes from what she dislikes?"

"Sir, are you alright?" Turning around seeing the sales clerk. Her name tag has Brenda

"No, Miss Brenda I am not alright, I need some help, and my time is running out."

"Okay, calm down I will do what I can."

"Thank you, I need to get a beautiful gown for my wife, this evening we have to attend a party."

"Will you describe exactly what sort of gown you are looking for?"

"Long, pretty something with a sleeve and she cannot wear jewelery, so to wear her chain she needs a dress with the neck area sort of covered."

"I see the predicament you are in, just hold on," thirty minutes later when she returns holding a green dress, "Sir, I don't know if you will like this, but this is the closest I could come up with to what you has described to me."

Taking the dress he said, "Let me look at it closely?" Noticing the way he was admiring it he doesn't seem to be, please.

"Let me show you something," Seeing her take the dress, holding it in front of her as she said, "You see, my shoulders are covered not exposing my body. The neck is also covered so she can wear her chain without it touching her skin. The length is fantastic for any occasion, I could only use one word for it, and that's elegant.

If my husband came to get me a dress, I will love something this glamorous, because I could use it to attend any Church functions. You see it is twofold, so it will be perfect, and it will not be a one time wearing. And this green is a royalty colour, she will love it, especially if she does go to Church."

Holding it in his hand asking, "Are there any other colors with the same features?"

"It has one, but Sir, it is an exclusive outfit and costly."

"Let me have a look at it please?"

Seeing the beautiful salmon he checks the size, "I will take the two, and I need shoes to match."

"Do you have the shoe size, Sir?"

Recalling when he held her foot to pull out the thorn, "It's as big as my palm." Vince thought, "It's the first gift I am buying for her besides the ring set."

Leaving the store, seeing the beautiful roses, thinking, 'These roses look just like the ones at his in-laws.'

Seeing the store closed already but it has HALEY'S FLOWER SHOP. 'My goodness, did they open a shop to sell their roses, I wonder whose idea was that?' Recalling Haley saying her gramma is at the shop. 'So why didn't she say something to me? Boy that woman will strangle herself will all the secrets she carries around on her shoulders.

But this is good their roses won't perish, and that was what was bothering her the most. Is that why she is more relaxed these few days, but she still has restless nights, she still seems to be battling with something on her mind.

And recently she has been crying in her dreams, and I know she has been getting some bad dreams about the accident.

I must thank God though, we don't argue much and we talk as though we are friends, what more can I ask for, one of these good days she will humble herself and come to my bed of her own free will.'
