Waking to hear talking in the room, Sidney wanted to know what's was going on?"

Trying to sit up seeing her Mom was in the room, "Mom!" seeing them all turning to face her. "Mom, is everything okay?"

"Yes love, you had me worried but seeing you are awake, I am fine now, Vinceson was telling me you fell when I call earlier, so I came to see you."

"Mom, I know something is wrong."

"Honey, nothing is wrong, I can assure you of that."

"Mom, I had a terrible dream, and in the dream, I saw you in this said dress that you are wearing right now."

"Love, it is because you are missing home, that's all."

"Mom, I suppose you are right."

"Now, Vinceson was telling me you haven't eaten since yesterday." Seeing the way she looks at him.

"I am not hungry Mom, so there is no need to worry."

"Honey, you have to try and eat something, I don't want you getting sick, so let me go and fix something for you to eat, and can you call Haley for me please, she is giving some problems in the house without you."

Sidney watches her mom leave the room, but then she recalls his grandfather said they were having a family gathering, so what happened? I have been sleeping since yesterday, why is that?'

Taking up the medication to read it but everything is jumbled up, are those sleeping pills the doctor left and my head feels so light as though I am floating.

Seeing the puzzled look Vince lift his eyebrow in a questionably way, "I thought this evening they were having a family dinner or reception?"

"They were, but when you fell yesterday GP cancelled everything, including our honeymoon."

Hearing she began laughing, "Isn't God awesome, whoever spill that water was God's instrument for saving me from that embarrassment, now tell me did you call mom?"

"Sidney, why is it every time something happens, you think I have something to do with it?"

Recalling earlier that she promises not to fight, she just bends her head saying sorry.

"What is the matter now?"

"Nothing, I am sorry, I blame you."

"Okay, I accept your apology, now I want you to try and eat something."

"Yeah, who cares if I choke while trying?"

When he leaves the room Sidney sees the muscles rub on top of the chair, taking it she rests her left foot on top of the chair and rubs it to help with the swelling and the pain.

Glad to be alone as she bands the foot. Hearing footsteps coming slowly towards her, thinking, 'I just waste a whole thought.'

Looking up only to see his grandfather entering the room, "Sidney, how are you feeling now, child?"

"I am better, thanks."

"Child, can you tell me; how did you manage to fall?"

"I just slip, I didn't see the floor wet when I went to use the washroom, and my shoes slip."

"Okay, child, I was just worried, now try and rest, I am going to take a lie down myself."

Passing near Vanda's room, Slone heard Vince questioning them, "Why did you two throw down water in my room?"

"What nonsense you talking about Vince, I have no idea what you are referring to?"

"You listen to me and try to understand; when I leave my room yesterday, the floor was not wet, so it is either you or Chrystal that spilt water on the floor before we left for the Hall.

"Well, I had nothing to do with that, and I can't recall Chrystal going into your closet room."

Walking slowly to his room, Slone thought, 'Now I haven't heard Vanda lying to me, but a few years away from home could have brought about changes.

I know Vince's heart was not completely into the wedding but that conversation I overheard, proves that he had nothing to do with her accident.

But Chrystal on the other hand is not trustworthy, she had concocted many lies in the past.'

Sidney relaxes on the bed and calls Haley, "Hi honey, Mom said you are being a very good girl for her. Yes, love, I know I said I will come home, but I slip and fall, and my foot is hurting.

Sweetie, as soon as I can walk, I will come and see you, but don't worry. I am sending something with Mom for you. And I will send Mr. Montgomery for you this weekend to stay two days.

Yes, true, now promise me you are going to do well in your schoolwork, and I will get you a huge gift. Yes, I promise, good girl. Bye, bye honey."

Resting the phone aside then lie down, pulling the covers over her face, so no one will see the tears if and when they enter the room.

Sidney was happy that everyone had finally left and she was alone. Taking her time she freshen up, then took her medication and lies on the sofa.

Waking Monday morning to find herself on his bed but she was left alone the entire day to fend for herself which was quite satisfying.

Entering the room Tuesday evening, Vince notice the television was on as he steps through his room door, and Sidney was lying on the floor, her face was wet and she seems to have fainted.

Checking to see if she was hurt anywhere besides her foot and head, thinking she must have fallen off the bed but then he heard the news bulletin.

Raising his head when the announcer said, "No one knows what started the fire, but as you can see Haley Hall was destroyed by fire this afternoon. At this immediate time, we have no eyewitnesses, and the Police are not saying anything.

Vince picks her up from the floor and put her on the bed, then continues listening to the news.

At that moment he wonders, 'Why is everything going wrong, she had now started to eat two mouthfuls of food, and now this happens?"
