VINCE EMBRACE SIDNEY

Sidney said to Vince, "I need a favour if you don't mind," she looks at him for a reaction because she never really asked him for anything since they got married.

As she waited for his response, when he speak, "Anything?" as he angles himself to look at her face. Vince was anxious to hear what favour she wanted as he waited patiently.

"I need you to find out from your grandfather, if he has given James a promotion, and also if he was the one that given him an invitation to the wedding. I will also do some checking to find out if he has been speaking to my friends." "What are you up to Sidney?"

"I don't know, it's just that I have this nagging feeling lately that James had this all planned."

"Why do you say that?"

"Look, I could be dead wrong, but he had already avenge him revenge on me by burning the hall, and now he wants payback from you for marrying me. God if only I could get my hands on him I will rip him apart."

"Excuse me!" Seeing the way she shut her eyes so tight as though she was fighting to control; her emotion, but he knew there was this rage that was burning inside of her that was ready to volcanize.

He has seen her when she is angry but never this furious, the words came out so fiercely. 'I don't know her much but this is not like her to become so angry. Also, from what I noticed about her, although she was hurting from when her hall was burned, she avoided GP so she won't say any hurtful words to him.'

"Okay, answer me this question, how long have the two of you been dating? And why didn't you suspect him before now?"

When her eyes flip open, then she stood up as if she was awakened from a deep sleep, hearing her asking herself, "Why was I so naïve, but then he was always being so kind and caring to me, he never gives me a reason to suspect him.

Thinking about it now he always had a way of making me pay his bills. How could I be so stupid? I should have listened to Georgia and grandma, was I so blinded by his affection towards me?"

Vince didn't want to hear how she felt for Gilbert, "Sidney, do you think he knew that we were getting married and he played along as if he knew nothing?"

When she nods, "Okay, do me a favour and try to get some rest, I am going to take a bath."

Realising she was in a talkative mood and she might say something that might cause this jealousy that had surfaced from within to erupt, and he was not ready to hear how she felt for Gilbert. She might reveal some intimate detail that might affect whatever is happening in his heart.

Walking towards the closet room Vince thought, 'She is right, he did just that to me, I volunteer to pay for his lunch, maybe he thought that Sidney will reject him and he will be stranded with the bill, is that why he invited me?'

Trying to recall that lunch they had together, Gilbert speaks with such confident and not once did he slip if that was the case.

Vince hurry with his bath hoping she was still awake, the light was off when he stepped out of the closetroom, only to realize she was not in the room.

'We talked for almost an hour, which was wonderful.' Seeing it was two-o-clocks, lying on the bed hoping she will come in the bed instead of the sofa.

Waking half five to use the washroom, Vince didn't see Sidney, realizing then she was still not in the room. Just as the covers was resting on the sofa before he went to bed it wasn't touched.

Wondering if she had slept at all, going to the washroom, and then start looking for her.

Walking into the kitchen seeing that she was on a baking spree, "What is all this?" he hugged her from the back hoping she won't push him away.

Hearing her as she busies herself packing the goodies into containers. "When I want to think, I cook, bake and make things to eat."

Sniffing her with all the spices and sugars and the oven was still on as he said, "The kitchen smells wonderful and it is making me feel so hungry."

Realizing she was in a good mood when she takes a cheese puff and puts it in his mouth. Gobbling it down then reach with one hand and took a pastry. "What is this?"

"That is a scone, when I see the cherry filling I could not resist. Will you take some for Mom before you goes to work, she loves these muffins when it is freshly baked." "Molly, the kitchen smells great."Chrystal said as she enters in. Vince heard Chrystal's voice as she enters the kitchen, 'God she is here to disturb this togetherness. I only hope Sidney won't push me away, "Vince, you are awake after you come home so late."

Hearing Chrystal, Sidney realized she was keeping tabs on his going out and coming in. 'I know there is nothing going on between us but she keeps pushing herself with him.

Turning to face Chrystal when she said, "You, what are you doing here, are you trying to impress someone?" Noticing how ambiguous they were together, and she was smiling which made her even angerier as it boils from deep within.

Chrystal clenches her fist looking at how he made no attempt to let her go, is he falling in love with her, they look so lovey-dovey together.

I know it all along, she is the one who wants to get his attention because she knows he does be gloating over her. God how could she be so schemeish, and this family is so blinded by their choice, but I must expose her.

Sidney could hear the remorse in her voice so she didn't remove Vince's hand from around her waist. When Vince did releases his hold from around her he said, "I was feeling to eat muffins, so Sidney decided to make me some, see how good they are looking, do you want one?"

"I hope they don't have poison?"
