SIDNEY WANTED TO KNOW IF SHE WAS A CHARITY CASE

Hearing her whispering, "What the hell is going on with the two of you, do I look like a charity case?"

"Honey, will you just try to relax, there's no need to be angry," Vince responds.

"Angry, you haven't seen me angry yet," standing up abruptly.

Having no choice Vince said in a whisper, "Sidney, will you try and calm down please, everyone is looking at us?"

"How can I, when you two thinks; I am some kind of a possession that you could possess and control."

Looking at her becoming angrier by the minute, "Sidney, for God's sake, will you stop making a scene?"

"I am leaving here right now."

Vince realized she didn't seem to care what he was saying or the embarrassment she will cause his family. "Okay, then let us go if you want to leave."

"Sorry, I am not going anywhere with you."

Grabbing her hand, knowing at that moment he had no choice but to take control of this situation immediately before everyone intervene. "Now you will do as I say and sit until I say we are ready to leave, do you hear me?"

Seeing the tears as she sits down, then Vince releases his hold from her hand. Noticing as she view her hand seeing the redness from where he was holding her, as she looks at him he could see the rage in her eyes as if there was fire and how red it gets.

When James said softly, "This is your choice, Sid, I was too nice to you so good luck and try enjoying your new life."

"Why don't you just get the hell away from me, you think you were better?" She spits out.

"I am glad I left you then and thank God, I didn't repeat the same mistake."

"I am sure you are; but you are pathetic and disgusting and I never want to see you again, now get the hell out of here and don't ever step foot on my property again, do you hear me?"

Vince was angry with himself for hurting her but her word was so venomous that Gilbert stood straight just looking at her, it seems he has never seen this side of her.

Noticing GP coming by the table, "Sidney, please wipe your face quickly before anyone sees you were crying?"

"Just leave me alone, for God's sake, God and God alone knows how I hate all men." Seeing the way she was angry, Vince held her hand under the table but she immediately brushes it off.

Using his handkerchief he leans towards her, wiping her face. When GP said, "Son, I think it's time to leave?"

"I believe you are right GP."

Raising her head to look at his grandfather, "Mr. Slone this is your Grandson?"

"Yes, child."

Vince notices how pale her face becomes when she opens her mouth and then closes it again as though she was lost for words. It seems as though she went into silence mode as she closes her eyes after seeing GP.

Leading her to the car she just did everything I said without objecting. 'That I did not expect because from the moment we met she never accepts defeat. Well maybe now that we are married she has given up and accepted defeat.'

Sitting in the car watching her family standing and just waving her goodbye.

She just looks at them not even waving, then she takes a handkerchief from her bag and keeps wiping her face. The same sadness that was on Haley's face, she was carrying it to his home.

Leaning on the door Sidney just allows the tears to flow, with the glass shut, the driver could not hear him converse.

Ignoring him as he speaks, "Sidney, please try to understand, you are free to visit your family anytime." Observing the way she glared at him Vince knew she might explode any minute.

Allowing the tears to just flow, Sidney thought, 'Why did I have to agree to this ridiculous marriage?' Angry with herself for giving up because she loves her family so much and didn't want to hurt them. angry with him for embarrassing her in front of James.

Glancing at him only to see him take out a glass and pour a drink, then another, sipping the second one slowly. 'Oh Lord this smell will make me sick and why did you allow me to marry a drunkard? You know the smell of these substance gives me a headache and cause me to vomit?'

Before she could cover her nose to shield herself away from the smell of the alcohol she began coughing. Vince looks at her, seeing she sends down the glass pushes her head out and started vomiting. Knocking the glass for the driver to stop. Vince then reached across to her giving her a bottle of water.

Sidney took it and rinse her mouth then turn in her anger and snatches the glass from his hand flinging it out the window.

"What is the matter with you, that was my drink?" But she just sit down ignoring him as though he said nothing. 'At least she still got some fire in her, when we left the hall she looks as though all hope was gone.'

Noticing she still twitching her nose, 'Is it the alcohol that cause her to vomit, boy she already didn't eat anything and whatever she had eaten before has come out. I hope the preparation Molly made for the family is to her liking. The lunch the family prepared at the hall was very delicious.

Vince looks at her trying to figure out why the silent mode? Unable to take his eyes from her, she looks so pale but she also looks beautiful. Seeing the car drives up to the front entrance of the house, everyone was waiting outside the door.

When he said, "This is your new home Sidney, so come on and smile a little, what is the matter, isn't this your idea?"

Walking to her side of the car, Vince opens the door for her, bending he said, "You did your part for your mother, now I have to do my part for my grandfather, so come on and be a sport and smile."
