SIDNEY RETURNS TO WORK

Vince realizes Chrystal's every intention is to separate him and Sidney, which means she will hurt Sidney without thinking twice and at any cost. Now my main objective is to protect Sidney.

From what happened Friday night she doesn't seem to care who is hurt in the crossfire. Although she claims to love my family and GP who would go to any length to make her happy, she caused him to get sick.

If she could be so bold as to destroy her own reputation, and Vanda who has been her friend for fifteen years.

Then by no means, she will spare Sidney especially when it comes to getting what she wants. So I am definitely sure she won't hesitate for one moment when it comes to hurting Sidney.

I also know she dislikes Sidney because we got married but Sidney was innocent and she never takes the initiative to become acquainted with Sidney.'

Becoming angry and confused at the same time Vince tries to stop thinking about Chrystal's behaviour.

'Why in God's name, I never see all these shortcomings before, was I so blinded thinking I love her?

Sidney's first appearance had seriously thrown me off, yet every time we cross paths within the two weeks before we got married, there was something about her that I still cannot explain, yet I had a deep longing to see her.

Up until now I still don't know much about her even her standard of education, but for her to work in the accounting agency she has to be brilliant. Also, they used to have her own business but she is so simple and down to earth.

Chrystal, on the other hand, is completely different, I just want to shun her, when she is in my presence it irritates the hell out of me.

Sidney on the other hand is totally the opposite of Chrystal, she is gentle, kindhearted and trustworthy, I miss seeing her or being next to her.

I know at times she feels safe with me but other than that she avoids me but I know she is very strong-minded. Chrystal will use that to her advantage, taking those qualities as weaknesses.

From now on I can't allow anything to happen to Sidney, I love her too much and won't be able to live without her. I know I will have to protect her from Chrystal though matter how she may think of me.'

Falling asleep while waiting for her, when he did wake up it was too late to go to his music practice. Going to use the washroom, it was then he realized she had brought her work clothes in the travelling bag. She was busy pressing all her work clothes, seeing his also neatly pressed and place alongside hers' for each day of the week.'

Vince ponders as he calculated the many weeks she wasn't working, I thought she had taken only a month's holiday but counting it now, it is more than six weeks. "Oh Lord, the time pass so quickly, yet every day she travel and did some business. The only time she didn't leave to go to the city is when she hurt herself.

Maybe that's why she went earlier today to visit her mom? She wanted to spend the day with her family because when she starts work she will be too busy and most evenings when she is home early she helps Molly with the dinner preparation.

Vince thought, about what her salary is like, it is something we never discussed, during all this time we got married and she never asked me for a dollar.

I know she has her business but she also has her pride and won't ask for any financial assistance. I am sure the flower shop doesn't bring in much as when they had the hall, and with that massive structure going up I am sure she must be under a bit of financial strain,

I should assist in whatever way I can, with they rented the hall they used to get a lump sum coming in each weekend. Whatever cash she may have had she has been using it to offset all her expenses and since we got married she keeps sending money for Haley, Caroline and her mom.

Back in the bedroom seeing her briefcase and work bag he took an envelope and puts a bank card with a slip of paper with the PIN written on it, this should run her over until the hall is open for business, and she always travelling so her resources must have almost dried up.

Recalling that first time he had spoken to her mom she said Sidney finishes work at five. It will be nice if we can go to work together and return home together, but with the way she is angry and not speaking to me I doubt very much if she will even sit in the same vehicle with me.'

Considering that idea for a moment Vince decided he could seize that as an opportunity to break the silence.

The days of the week passed so drearily, she was always up long before me and leave for work before I came downstairs.

That went on for the first week in the mornings and she returns home late so I spent most of my evening with GP working in the library.

Then the second week approached, she did the same in the morning and when she returned from work if she wasn't doing her work in the closet room. She was in the back of the house, doing what I cannot say, but it seems as though she is working out a plan.

God knows we live under the same roof, in the same room but yet we are like total strangers now, before the party we used to still talk.

Speaking to Molly if she does eat when she comes from work, it was just as if I didn't ask because she never knows.

Most of those evenings when she returns to the room, she just showers and lies on the sofa, not a word was spoken.
