SIDNEY GIVES HER MOM THE OKAY

Vanda has always supported her brother, also she does the same for her friend, this was something she wanted so badly, so why is Vince backing out now?

"I am saying my marriage is already set little sister and I cannot say no even if I want to. So please don't interfere before GP get sicker and I get the blame.

Chrystal may not have told you everything but I have given her the opportunity first: twice I asked her within the two weeks and she turns me down bluntly, saying that she had her goals. She has her ambitions and not forgetting, she repeatedly said she had no plans of marrying at this immediate time, so why the change of heart now?"

"Vince, it is still not too late to tell GP, that you have changed your mind."

"Are you insane, you want him to drop dead in front of my eyes? And what about the girl's family, they are the ones that are making all of the preparations. Our word is important when we do business."

"So tell me, big brother, is this marriage a business deal to you?"

"No, it is not, but it is people's lives that are involved."

"So why, do you always exaggerate so much as though if this arrangement is canceled you will be charged a fine?" Vanda quarries.

Becoming angry with her for insinuating this is his fault, 'if only she know how embarrassing it was for me when Chrystal turns my proposal down she would keep her mouth shut.'

"Hello, if you only get half the truth then shut your mouth, you only came home yesterday, and I am not exaggerating so just relax and there will be no tension around the house. If it means that my marriage will relieve all the tension in GP's life? I am willing to make the extra effort and sacrifice for his sake.

Chrystal and I have been friends for years, and when I told her the situation, one month ago, all she claims to love me; she was not willing to have a marriage. She wanted to advance her career; now this marriage is set for the third of May, which is next Saturday and it is out of my hands. If there is nothing more to discuss, I must get dressed for tonight's show which I am already late."

Vanda looks at him go seeing how tense and angry he was, wishing she could do something to remove all the stress and confusion in his mind.

Mean while at the Montrose home, Sidney was sitting on the sofa with her cup of tea, trying to recap the evening events after her mom and grandmother give her the news.

Stroking the bruise on her knees and hand. 'Now this marriage, what do they expect me to do? I cannot say no, but why can't they understand; I cannot handle this stress anymore.

Closing her eyes praying, "Lord, what am I going to do now? I need You to show me a way how I could get out of this marriage without hurting anyone. I need Your help and I need it quickly.

I have already dispersed funds for Georgia's wedding and now this marriage, where will I accumulate sufficient funds for this wedding, and from what mom was saying we will be offsetting the funds for all the food preparation?

But Lord what is the rush? I don't want to get married so why are You allowing this to happen to me? I don't know this person just like the first marriage arrangement.

Then when I think James love me, he turned out to be such a loser for not turning up at the wedding hall.

He left me waiting like a fool and now mom has suddenly decided without asking me to get married again. Am I a burden on their shoulders? If they want me out of the house, all they have to do is say the word and I will disappear forever?'

Sidney thought as the tears seep down her face, 'I am not that desperate to get married, I don't need a man in my life, they are deceivers and there was never a time that I wasn't disappointed in them?'

"Lord, I going to meet this person and we must come to some mutual agreement to cancel this wedding arrangement once and for all."

When her mom said, "Honey, I know this wedding is sudden but don't worry, from what Caroline was saying he is something like a celebrity, and when he visited me this morning from what I noticed he is very handsome and he look very intelligent, also, who knows this young man might be the perfect match for you. I am not worried honey, I know you will be, okay?"

Turning so her mom won't see the tears, "I am fine Mom, but you didn't give me the Montgomery address, and where did you meet these people?"

"Sid honey, Mr. Montgomery, came two weeks ago asking to meet you."

"Mr. Montgomery knows me? I can't recall meeting any Montgomery." Hazel observed how confused she looks as she keep mumbling his name.

"But honey, you were speaking with him at the reception a few weeks ago."

"Mom, I meet so many people because of my job, and you know I am always greeting people because of our business."

"Well honey, pondering about it now won't change anything, let us rest, and tomorrow we will discuss this further."

"Okay Mom, you try not to allow any tension to disturb your rest." Sidney stood up and wipes her face then held her mom's hand leading her to her room.

"Mom, if my being married to this Vinceson person will make you happy, I will have no objection, go ahead and make your plans."
